Great location in the heart of Manarola, just a few minutes to either the sea or the train station. Small balcony looks out on the main street which is quite busy, but which we liked (attention: no direct view on the sea, but on the town and the vinyards, which is very nice too). Kirchen was well equipped for some basic cooking and check-in and out was very easy.
Appartment felt a bit "lived in" (e.g. bed could be a bit more comfortable, balcony furniture on the more wobbly side of things, fridge with broken freezer compartment). All things that didn't affect our general enjoyment, but that could profit from some updating.

Ideal location in the middle of Manorola. Extremely responsive service . A few items needed to be fixed and the staff came at once to either fix or replace them.
There was a large AC external vent on the terrasse ( from shop and/or apartment beneath) that made the terrasse too hot and noisy ( hot air coming out ). Ideally , it should be directed externally .
2.0
The location.
Very low value for money.
The appartements have absolutely no charm (the photos look better than what the place really is). The decoration is tasteless and the overall comfort extremely low. The owner is charging a fee to keep the luggage - which is strange (not to say cheap) given the price of the rental.
When we tried to better understand, they declined to talk to us, which was extremely rude.
So we left the place with the taste of a bad experience.

Good location. Very clean and friendly service from Stefano and Explora.
Food delivery truck noise in the morning but reduced by good windows.

Our apartments were located very close to the train station. Very convenient location.

Giulia was delightful in communicating and explaining everything upon arrival. The location couldn't be more perfect, close to train station-slight uphill walk, but minimal compare to others. Mini supermarket nearby to get essentials. 2 cafes are readily available in the mornings for your breakfast needs.

The view was nice
The location we knew about but didn't realize how hard it was to catch a bus or find a taxi.
The check in instructions were not clear
The 4cm long scorpion inside the unit was concerning
The shower was incredibly difficult to use due to its small size and height of step down, and the full slip bathroom tiles made using the shower a hazardous endeavor

Loved the location, kitchen availability, tips for hiking in the area, tips for good food in town
More clarity on where to dispose of bagged waste and recycling at the end of the stay.

Good location. Has everything you need.
We stayed for a week and didn’t get clean towels or sheets in that time. Very uncomfortable bed. Very hard. Maybe some people like that.

Loved having the Coop on our doorstep as well as Tabaccheria Bramante – for many essentials.
Happened upon a cute hide-away, loved Stephano and his mum. This became our 1st thing in the morning coffee stop-off and end of the evening green tea stop. We also had in between stops :-)
Review/suggestions for the apartment;
• Easy to find
• Location – convenient but very noisy [esp between 4-7am, deliveries, garbage collection etc]
• Mattresses – could do with a better quality
• Blankets – it was cold and 1 sheet and a thin bed cover was not enough
• Pillow – there were only 3 [need a 4th one – 2 per bed]
• Seating – after a long day walking or a rainy day it would be good to have somewhere comfy to sit [rather than a hard kitchen chair or other alternative of the uncomfortable bed!]
• Mugs – need larger for a decent cup of tea/coffee
• Glasses – need large water [rather than 2 small thimbles]
• Glasses – proper wine glasses [rather than 3 odd sized ones]
• Hooks – nowhere to hang towels, coats etc
Thought we were getting a balcony or an outside space – instead we had a bench in front of our apartment which we made great use of. We had great fun interacting with people who passed by.

Room was beautiful and in a good location. Close to everything while being far enough away that it was quiet at night
Some staff was super friendly and helpful but one person was extremely rude. We briefly lost internet which is no big deal but when we asked in the shop to book trips she told us to book online… when we had no internet. Your info was not up-to-date and most yours listed were not actually available

Appartement was bigger than expected. Nice location. Pictures met reality.

Location was great and check in was easy . Room a nice size and kitchen facilities great .
Bed a tad on the hard side but good size and the shower was small (though still usable and the water pressure/ temp was great)

The company which is responsible for renting out the apartment organised another apartment for us for 1 night. We then left manarola and got our money back for the nights we didn't stay because they could not find a free place for us to stay since all their properties where ocuppied.
On the actually very nice balcony there is the very!!!! noisy fan from the air condition. It is huge (hidden behind a thin wooden wall like a cupboard ) blowing out very loudly very hot air across the whole balcony. So when you sit by the table to have a meal you feel like sitting next to a huge hair dryer. It is so loud that you have to raise your voice to talk to one another sitting by the same table. The air conditioning system is not just linked to the apartment we stayed in but to the whole building. So you have no influence when the fan starts. The first day was fine. We hardly noticed it because we didn't have any neighbours but when people moved in next door on the second day the fan was on all day and all night. No chance to use the balcony for dinner. And since we had booked for 3 and the 3rd person slept upstairs in the living room/kitchen the fan running all night disturb the sleep as well.

The location is really good, and very near the train station tunnel and other important businesses.
It was a short stay, but maybe if the stay is longer, people will need a washer machine. To get internet, I usually had to reboot the router for the night, but it is not a big deal. Make sure to get more shower soap (at least 4 packets for 2 nights). We stayed 2 nights, but only 2 small packets of soap were provider - I am sure if we asked, it would be fine. We had to share each packet.

Liked the apartment. Nice amount of room, very clean. Good bathroom with shower. The kitchen is nice. The beds are good. It is well located within the village.
Nothing specifically about the apartment, but if you have heavy luggage, since it is in the village, you have to carry your luggage from the parking lot on top of the village to the apartment and back.

The apartment is located in Via Discovolo, the main street of Manarola, and is located at ground level, hence no stairs to reach it. The apartment was clean and bed was comfortable. The kitchen has all the main utilities to live there for a few days. The supermarket and pharmacy are just a few meters away. The train station and restaurants are nearby. Air conditioner works well and is quiet. WiFi worked correctly.
Bear in mind that his apartment has no nice view. The windows are to the main street, with all the people passing in front of the apartment -most of the time I kept the windows shut.

Accomodation located in a beautiful village, literally a few steps from the docks and from an outpost for marvelous view. Amazing how ecologic and environmentally friendly the equipment of the room was: from shampoo and shower gel to toilet paper to recycling garbage cans and instructions how to separate waste! This really was the first time I saw a host taking such a care about sustainable stay of all their guests. Manarola is otherwise very nice and down the alley from Le Coste you can find some really good Michelin star restaurants with special fresh seafood cuisine!
The guy in Explora Trekking store was the most friendliest host ever, we can't complain - on the way back we even saw him helping to carry luggage of some other tourists from different host. But one star down for an unhelpful approach of the woman at reception desk, who couldn't meet us halfway with any wish and always requested payment for each triviality...
