Barbara cooked a wonderful Jamaican breakfast and is a fantastic host - she couldn't do enough for guests. The hotel is in a quiet location but well-placed for Winnifred Beach and not far from other sights such as the Blue Lagoon (currently closed) and Frenchman's Cove Beach.

Didn’t get to stay on the property. After driving from Montego Bay for more that 3 hours got into Port Antonio. The road that takes you to the polish princess is probably one of the toughest I ve drove in my life. When we got there, a bunch of German Shepard started barking at us, I love dogs, so I didn’t mind it that much, later one lady came out of the house with a phone on her hands, on the line it was the owner of the place saying that she was not going to honor our reservation because her account was hacked. Like it was our problem that not her or booking did anything about it. It was almost 9 o’clock when this happened, they decided to leave us on the streets, before trying to figure out something with us, and again, the road that takes you there is just really really bad.

Barbara the host was very hospitable. She even gave us a 2nd room with a queen bed for a discounted rate. The property is beautiful and well kept. We couldn't have asked for anything else.

Bárbara is an excellent hostess, friendly and communicative, and she gave us several valuable tips for our trip. The space is very clean and organised. Breakfast was a surprise each day, always delicious.

It is a very nice and well-maintained property in a quiet area close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Jamaica. The breakfast was served on the rooftop and was very delicious.

The location is excellent, the breakfast is good and the people there are warm. The WiFi is excellent as well, very pleased with that. The room was clean and equipped with everything needed for comfort.

The location of the hotel was amazing, walking distance of many interesting places. The staff was very friendly and Barbara was an amazing person, she has gone way and beyond to fullfill my needs. As a woman travelling alone things were quite difficult for me in Jamaica but Barbara helped me to arrange day trips, gave me tips about walking around and made me awsome breakfasts. The room was quiet and confortable and internet was very stable, I even worked from the hotel.

Perhaps one thing that could be improved is the shower, sometimes it was kind of difficult to close, but nothing that spoiled my time there, the bathroom itself was spotless clean and the shower was hot.

The personnel and miss Barbara are really friendly and take exceptionally good care of their guests! They arranged all transportation for us and gave the best recommendations for what to do in the area!!! The breakfast was delicious! The distance to blue lagoon and other nice beaches was less than 30 min walking!

Missing air-condition in the room. Although a ceiling-fan was available, it was really hot during the night 😞

Barbara was a wonderful host and the ground staff were also exceptional..top notch customer service...breakfast each morning was really good with local fresh fruits, tea and a main dish. Environment is also clean and nice

*Roads are horrible as they're currently being worked on, however the trip was worth it as the guest house was close to major beaches, food etc. *Small bathroom *still a perfect spot and its definitely value for money

The owner is a very kind and helpful lady. We got lots if hints and support from her. The location was perfect. Breakfest was delecious. All the staff is very nice and friendly. Our room and top terrace met all our needs. For the price that you pay, it was an excellent choice and I can only recommend to anyone who would like to stay not far away from Port Antonio, still surrounded by a beautiful nature. All was perfect.

Great value for money, the place is clean and well maintained, located conveniently near several beaches and blue lagoon. Breakfasts were delicious and staff ensured we felt at home. Owner Mrs. Barbara is extremely helpful and always provided advices on things to do, eat etc. Recommend it to everyone!

The staff/service definitively stands out. Barbara, Gerry and Nordia were so friendly and easygoing that I would recommend this place for any of my friends visiting Port Antonio beyond a shadow of a doubt. By the way, their location is much better than Port Antonio, much closer to the top attractions there (Blue Lagoon / Frenchman's cove / Boston Beach / etc).

Our host, Barbara, was amazing! Breakfast was lovely. The room was clean and comfy. The property and the location are great -- close to all of Portland's best beaches. It's a wonderful place to stay and the price is basically a steal.

The roads leading up to the property were awful -- had we known how bad the roadways were, we probably wouldn't have gone otherwise but we are happy to have been there. The shower is a bit small. Wish the rooms were able to block noise a bit more and for bigger pillows.

Barbara and her team helped us with a ton of questions and were all really friendly. The property is nice and clean! There is a lot of space in the rooms for storing luggage. Also we're both vegan - so breakfast can sometimes be an issue. But Barbara made sure we would have a great vegan breakfast every day. Highly recommended and looking forward to coming back!

Barbara has a couple of German shephard dogs (which are quite calm and quiete). If you don't like dogs at all, this might not be for you.

The property is a nice house, it has some big dogs that can be scary at first, but seems like they are used to people. the property is clean and well maintained.

some of the guest are loud in the mornings and you can literally hear everything because the windows are literally right next to each other. The house doesn’t have instructions at the gate, so when you arrive you don’t know if to walk in to try to find a lobby/reception or if to just wait at the door. there is no ring bell either, we decided to walk in to try to find the lobby or somebody and the owner wasn’t too happy about it. after that incident she became nice, and polite, but it was not a nice welcome at first.

Breakfast was delicious, however we wanted more of a full Jamaican type breakfast and not American style and not a mixture. The location was great, in a hide away spot from cars and human traffic, making it quite and peaceful.

We could have use some internet service especially for our kids who was some what bored since there were no televisions in the rooms. Also the water pressure could be stronger, it was running too slow.

Barbara is a legend - she was incredibly welcoming, helped us find our way around the neighbourhood, and answered all of our questions. The breakfast was really good, and the fact that she serves Blue Mountain coffee was an unexpected cherry on top. This guesthouse really is a little gem - we would definitely come back here.
