Our fault, we booked a hotel designed by an artist and not an architect or designer who would have prioritised function over form. The basin could not be filled with water which was frustrating for a bloke who blade shaves using shaving cream. The lighting and dark colours were awful. We booked for a two-night stay and after the first night left with the 'please make up my room' sign on the outside of the door only to return at 4pm with the room having not been serviced. Asked for an urgent service which took another 35mins to eventuate. Is it unreasonable to expect to use the room when it is more than a one-night stay?

The room was not spacious, but it was not small either. The hotel’s location is across from the Amsterdam Central Station with trams going all over the city inexpensively. The bathroom was mid-sized and modern with the toilet in a small separate room from the shower which is very helpful.
The bar is well-equipped with good wines and comfortable seating. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The hotel does not allow Uber/Lyft to stop in front of the hotel so you have to walk with luggage over to the Central station which would ordinarily not be too much of a problem, but the day we left, it was raining steadily and the hotel staff gave us incorrect instructions on where the Uber/taxi pick-up was, so that we missed our Uber.

location was fantastic, we travelled by Eurostar, The hotel was so close from the station 5 min walk. Our room was perfect, bed was huge and very comfortable, bathroom was clean, spacious and so modern.
Plenty of coffee pods and milk in the room, tea and biscuits too.
We didn't eat in the restaurant because we met friends, we did use the bar which was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We were very happy with everything.

Hotel is very modern and the art gallery is a bonus, the room is spacious with floor to ceiling mirrors 😍😍. I would definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam, also the hotel location is spot on with Schiphol airport train tickets costing less than €5. I think the price I paid was worth it 5* and the staff are very welcoming. They say hi to you anytime you walk past them, well done to them.

Excellent location, great large rooms, nice gym, great restaurants and Art gallery.
Hotel was central and walking distance to most attractions including train station.
The only complaint is the lighting in the room specifically the bathroom. The only change I would recommend is brighter lighting in the bathroom .

Clean rooms, great breakfast, an amazing art gallery on the basement level, superb location opposite the Amsterdam Central train station, Tram Station, Canal boats main pier, central to all the restaurants and bars, what an amazing find.
