The staff was really nice and the location is close to the tramva station and the bazar so that’s a good place for tourists.

The showers and bathrooms were bit old and they needed new ones in my opinion or at least some reparations, the bed sheets were stained and not so clean, the towels were also old and stained.

Very good and nice hotel to stay in Istanbul If you want good place,clean, unbeatable location,bus,metro,tram... few steps, unbeatable prices,you will find this in Falcon hotel, my room was 504 , very nice room, clean,all I need I Found in my room , Safe, refrigerator,TV, comfortable bed, comfortable pillow,prayer director, clean towels and sheets, everything everything was nice ,good breakfast, the 2 ladies in breakfast room are really very nice, always smile, always do their best to make you satisfied, Mr Mohamed ( Hemeda) in the reception is a great man, he told me he is Turkish but speak Arabic very well, did his best to make my stay wonderful and comfortable, when you talk with him, you feel that you know him from years ago, he is very nice and give you the perfect answers and advise for any questions.... Also Mr. Arkan in the reception,the first one I meet in the hotel gives you the sense that you are at your home very kind man , and always ask you if you want anything tell me or tell one of our colleagues and do everything make my stay comfortable,,, Thanks Arkan I recommend falcon hotel for anyone needs clean, good, cheap,well located place to explore Istanbul, this is my 13 time to visit Istanbul... Now I decide to make falcon hotel my only choice in the future visits... Thanks Falcon hotel...

For me, everything was fine

Staff is really nice.

Breakfast is not good and reused. Stuff like bread was reused if people dont finish it. Salads were not fresh. Sheets and towels in the hotel were not very clean.

The room is small and needs renovation desperately, as all appliances are really old. And If it would be only that I would still give the hotel high review minding the low price. Breakfast was okayish for the price. BUT…

Be prepared for dirty rooms. The amount of dust was tremendous. The towel hanging in the bathroom had a big white dirty stain in the middle with somebody’s hair glued right to it. I don’t want to know what the stain was… How could somebody in their right mind hang it proudly displaying the stain? There were crumbs from someones food in the drawer also. I think they never clean them. Bed linen also had dirty stains and holes in it. The stench of cigarettes. If you’re smoker, you can skip this part. My experience as a non smoker was that in most hotels they give you room, where nobody smokes before you, you know, for non smokers :) You can smell the stench, and don’t try to turn on air conditioning, as it will make smell worse. Opening the window helps for a short amount of time. As I mentioned before, appliances are really old. They have rust, yellow stains, everything is looking like it is going to fall apart. Also we had no water at all one evening, but it was fixed the next morning. The street is not exactly what I would call quiet. And remember, sometimes you have your window opened to get rid of cigarette smell :) Also, the mini fridge was making sounds as it was fighting for its life! And believe me, it was not a quiet fight. Usually we fall asleep very fast, as we are exhausted after traveling, but here it was a little bit of challenge. When wifi was working, it was really slow... The chandelier was not turning off at night. I guess they have problem with electrics and it was still producing dimmed light. The only way to turn it off was to unscrew the bulb. Wouldn’t be a huge problem, but combined with other issues it a was a "cherry" on top. The only nice thing about this hotel is staff, they were really helpfull. Location of the hotel is good, close to the center and with metro station nearby. I didn't expect much for the price, but at least I expected clean room, towels and linens...
