the location was right in the middle of Boquete so it was perfect to move different locations.

In the room, in the part where the bathroom was located there was a big hole

room very basic room and bed not suitable for 2 persons as it was wobbly and ıt almost sagged. During the night a lot of noise due to hard wind and corrugated iron on the roofs. Makes a relaxed night of sleep very hard.

The Pool was to dirty to swim in. In the nights the roof makes a lot of noise when the wind blows.

The owner is a very nice and helpfull guy with a lovely dog. Our kids loved the dog. The owner has some great advices for tours and can arrange a cheap tour to walk up the vulcano during the night, that I would really recommend. The room was spacious, bed were very comfortable. Nice, big garden and nice ambiance. The cleaning lady cleans your bathroom and floor every day, that was great too.

The pillows were a bit old and the kitchen was small and incomplete.

I loved the location, near to center town it possible walking to every site from there. The rooms are independient, you have the keys to go directly. Parking. Good.

The room good, some problem with hot water. But it was solved by host. Cost vs acommodation, good.

We were only in Boquete for one night so we needed a cheap place to stay. The dog on site is super friendly and the location is quite central.

The bathroom smelled like sewer and with such poor lighting in the room and bathroom I was afraid to look closely at anything. The mattress was uncomfortable and so were the flat pillows. You do not need air con but it would have been nice to have the fresh mountain breeze but we couldn’t keep the window open since it had no screen and there were mosquitos.

Shower didn't drain well

the location is simply amazing. just one block away from the cerré but quiet enough to be comfy.

The bathroom door was broken so every time you try to take a shower the whole room got underwater

the new owners are extremely friendly they are kind a helpful the vibe around the place is magical

We were not comfortable living here !

The interior of the room was ugly, the bedsheets were very old and wornout ! They didn’t even match . The bathroom didn’t have Hanging hooks for towels or washed underwear etc.

a lack of hot water for showering

The bed was excellent, the pillows not so good. Three beds in the room, good for a family.. I always stay here when I am in Boquette but I think I mostly must travel in the off season when it is quieter. There was a very friendly crowd at the time I visited. The shower was nice and the water hot. A pleasant surprise is that they now offer simple meals. Two choices for breakfast and pizza for supper. A great idea. The location is excellent, back from the main road one block. That one block makes a huge difference because it’s quiet. There are a lot of trucks traveling on the main road and if you are not used to traffic it’s difficult to sleep. Pension Tropas has the perfect location quiet but close to town.

The towels were line dried and scratchy.. but for the price of the room they were certainly tolerable.I cannot think of anything else.

Absolutely NOTHING.

It was awful and there was nothing I liked, to sum it up: 1. The ‘room’ was right next to the carport and where they would hang a smelly bag of trash. 2. It wasnt a room, more like a fancy dog house. The ceiling was so low, the room was very smelly and the air in there was not good. Felt like a lot of moist air. It had a bunk bed. The furniture was veryyyy outdated and it had only 1 plastic chair where you could sit on or put stuff on. The carpet was dirty, it had dirty curtains. There was some sort of aluminium stuff on the roof, making it extremely hot during daytime to be in the room (you’ll be frying) and there is no fan nor airco. 3. There was a shared bathroom that was disgusting as well (unfortunately i dont have pictures), the floor of the bathroom was always wet, the toilet located in that same bathroom was also disgusting and so was the sink. They also didnt refill the toilet paper and no one would answer when i knocked on the office door to get it. (Luckily a man was kind enough to put his own toilet paper for me). 4. The shared kitchen, that i didnt use, was gross too. Not cleaned properly, a big mess, dirt everywhere. Honestly not a place where you want to cool you meal. I found a nicer place after spending two dreadful night there. I WOULDNT recommend this place to anyone and i dont understand how some people rate it a 9 and say its so great (but i guess we all have different standards?!).

the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom could really be improved. Not the most welcoming staff I met during my different stays in Panama.

They have Peedy living on the terrain in a tent which is kind of the janitor of the place. He connects everything and is the heart of this Pension. Even though the owners were quiet rigid and not really social, this guy was always helping everyone and socializing. If it wasn't for him I would have rated this place a lot lower. The facilities outside are nice, but mostly used by the owner's family or friends.

I had too pay 10 dollars for dry cleaning, cause a Blanket contained a little blood and they wouldn't get it out just by washing it. Even though everything else from the bedding was really old and contained all different kind of stains. The owners were really rigid. Double bed Room is really small.
