We could not have enjoyed our stay in Amalfi more than we did at Casa Massa! The property was beautifully nestled on the hill between Amalfi and Atrani, making it an extraordinary view of each town from either side of the house, and an easy walk to both. The home has plenty of space to live, cook, relax and sleep. We enjoyed two family meals in the large kitchen and dining room. Bruno, the property manager, was efficient and professional, and the housekeeping and grounds staff were very pleasant. One note for those intimidated by all the stairs on the Amalfi coast, there is an elevator a short walk from this house that one can take down into the center of Amalfi for free. It is 3 Euro per person for the ride back up, but it replaces several flights of stairs for those that may be too tired for the climb back up. There are still some steps to be navigated along the winding path between the house and the elevator, but only 30 or so rather than 80-100.

Casa Liana in Sorrento
Casa Liana was our home base during the 10 days we traveled in the region. The location was ideal for multiple day trips to Naples, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mt. Vesuvius, Paestum and our drive along the Amalfi Coast. It also provided easy access by foot to the many delights of Sorrento. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
The apartment was as pictured, except for the outside seating on the balcony. It is located on/over a busy street, as other reviewers have noted. We were fine inside with the windows closed, but realistically, it might have been too noisy to enjoy sitting out, even if the furniture were provided.
Everything inside was well-equipped, very clean and comfortable. With a number of mini- and supermarkets near by, we were able to fix some of our meals and also easily do our laundry with the washer and drying rack provided.
From a customer service perspective, the only suggestion I might have is to provide an email contact for the owner to facilitate contact upon arrival. Because we did not purchase an international calling plan, we were not able to call Mrs. Liana until we acquired Italian SIM cards for our iPhones from the Vodafone store just down the street later that evening. Even then, we could not activate the cards until midnight. Through wifi connections, we could have communicated via email from service areas on our drive from Rome or from nearby shops. That would have made initial contact much less frustrating for both parties.
All in all, though, this was a great choice for a very enjoyable stay. We will remember it fondly as our temporary home.

Great location.
The apartment was good for three people. There was a lot of noise on the street where the apartment is located. The book left in the apartment was not up to date and the translation very poor for the garbage pickups. It was walking distance from everything in Sorrento. It would have been nice that the owner showed us how the blinds worked as we were not aware of how to put them down. It was a coincidence that we found them not having been in Italy before. We would recommend as a great place to stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Casa Liana unit for 6 days in November 2015. Upon arrival the lobby area was a bit underwhelming and the exterior of the building looked a bit old. Upon closer inspection though we found the building and surrounds well looked after and clean. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the unit. The unit is spacious, exceptionally clean, very well appointed with excellent bathroom and kitchen. The small deck overlooks the town and in the distance, the sea. The unit is well situated to explore Sorrento. It is a very short walk to the main square and rail station, close to shops and markets. We dealt with Bruno to book the unit from Australia. The entire process was handled well.I cant think of any real negatives about this property, just be prepared for a very small elevator.

Nice apartment, large comfortable bedrooms.
We enjoyed our two day stay. Everything was very clean and in good working order. A grocery store was just a few minutes walk away and access to the historic part of Sorrento was easy. When we had a small problem (no hot water) management was quick to respond and help us fix the problem. We are also grateful that they allowed us to check out two hours later than normal.

Exceptional guest residence for experiencing Sorrento and the Amalfi coast.
Two mature couples just spent a delightful week at Casa Donna Titina in Sorrento. The villa was all that was expected and then some. Owner Pepe and family, who live in an adjacent home, were exceptional hosts and Pepe himself was a hoot with an effervescent personality and willingness to work hard to refer his quests to exceptional experiences with guides, restaurants and his own occasional taxi/guide service. He is a native of Sorrento who maintains extensive fruit and flower gardens around the villa and shares the bounty with guests. It is a 12-15 minute walk down to the center of town (and back up!), but that is part of its charms. You have exceptional views of the Bay of Naples, Mt. Vesuvius and the entire Sorrento area, yet are above the noise and bustle of this tourism-centered city. The front plaza is an exceptional spot for enjoying morning coffee and evening wine watching the sun rise or set over the bay. Don’t even think about renting a car! The streets are extremely narrow, poorly marked and packed with crazy car and motor bike drivers. However, access to public transportation with trains, buses, ferries, and guides with autos, etc. is excellent and all are close. The villa was clean and spacious and had a fairly well-equipped kitchen except for limited counter space. We ate many dinners and all breakfast meals at the villa with supplies purchased at a great market just down the hill where we shopped daily due to the weight of carrying wine bottles up the hill!

A Great stay with Pepe in Sorrento
We had a fabulous stay at Casa Donna Titina, on arrival at 10pm Pepe organised pizza and beers for us which were really appreciated. The following morning he took us around Sorrento so we could get our bearings and called at the local supermarket so we could stock up on groceries and wine. Nothing was too much trouble he'll run you into town and pick you up at night if you ask. He ran us to the airport for our flight home. The house was very clean with everything you need and very quiet, with fabulous views over the Bay of Naples. Expect to eat fresh Figs which Pepe brings from his garden which are delicious. The walk into Sorrento takes about 20 mins into the main square, but is a bit of a climb back, but as I said Pepe will pick you up. You can't go wrong in Sorrento for restaurants and bars, we liked the Fauno bar in the main square for a glass of wine and people watching, the food was good but there were so many good restaurants we went somewhere different every night and were never disappointed. There are so many places to visit but allow for the fact that buses and ferries may not depart from where you expect them to or when you expect them, it is Italy and very laid back. In all we had a great stay with Pepe and his lovely family especially his mum who is wonderful. Hope to go back soon.

Very clean, comfortable apartment in a great location close to Piazza Tasso
We were warmly greeted by very helpful and responsive staff members who got us oriented and also provided good recommendations for our stay. 2BR unit was very comfortable and sufficiently appointed. Staff was also on call to assist with taxi arrangements, etc. Pleasant experience...

A perfect match.....
Casa Donna Titina was the perfect match for us. It is located not too far and not too close to Sorrento. The view from Casa Donna Titina is breathtaking. The size of the house for us four people was perfect as well and we had enough space. The terrasse outside is very nice and twice we ordered home delivery Pizza out there. Pepe and his family gave us a warm welcome and he also gave us a quick lesson in true Sorrenty style Limocello production. Pepe also organized a last minute (!) reservation at a restaurant to see the Fireworks Fiesta di Sant'Anna. We were ovall very happy at Casa Donna Titina and will return definitely in the future once more.

A week in Sorrento
We stayed at Casa Liana for a week as we were in Sorrento for a family wedding. The support and communication from Bruno was excellent and everything went according to plan. We needed a baby chair for our granddaughter and this was provided very quickly. We had no problem finding the apartment and someone was there to let us in and also to see us before we left. The apartment was very comfortable and with easy access to the centre of Sorrento and other transport links. Good shops and restaurants nearby. We hired a car and booked parking space at the apartment which was necessary as it is hard to park in the surrounding streets. The apartment was good value for money and we were very comfortable during our stay, the weather was very hot so the air conditioning was welcome. If you do not have a car there are plenty of tours that can easily be arranged. If we return to this area for a holiday we would certainly stay at Casa Liana again.

Real Italian hospitality
Our week in Casa Donna Titina was fantastic. If you are looking for a slice of the real Sorrento, tine experience away from the tourists this is for you. Peppe and Rita, and family are terrific hosts and couldn't do enough for us.
The house is exactly as advertised; clean, and cozy. Other reviewers have made mention of the walk to Sorrento. Yes, the walk is about a kilometer or so and downhill. That means the walk back is uphill.. But don't worry, Peppe will offer to pick you up and he means it! We took him up on it a couple of times and he met us with his characteristic smile and jokes. It was funny to see Peppe greet pedestrians and other drivers as he drove us back to the house. Seems Peppe knows everybody in Sorrento and everybody knows him. He is a genuine character. His restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Be sure to ask him about Masaniello in Piano di Sorrento. No tourists, just local people enjoying the best food you will ever eat.
Book this house and you won't be disappointed. Be sure to sample Nonna's homemade limoncello when Peppe offers you some. Both Nonna and the limoncello are awesome. You can't be around Nonna for more than a few minutes and not smile. She is a delightful lady.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay in what was a well decorated and well appointed apartment. We also found the location to be good to access the old town. However, there was no number on the outside of the building which made it difficult to find and no balcony table as indicated in advertising.

A warm and inviting place.
Staying at Casa Donna Titina was a wonderful experience. Peppe, the owner, was very warm and ready to help with any request--a really great host. The house was comfortable, the view was fabulous, and the terrace and surroundings were idyllic. One small criticism-- the hill leading to the entrance of the house was very steep and narrow; for me, the drive up this hill was a bit scary.
This is one small minus amidst a host of pluses. This week-long stay was truly unforgettable.

Great location for exploring the region
My friend and I booked the two bedroom apartment for one week and were pleased with the décor and space it provided. We were delighted to find how near we were to the station and the town centre. Nearby were some useful shops to buy our food and even better, we were a minute away from one of the main pick-up points for the tour company coach trips.
My only hesitation was to note that there was only one chair provided for sitting on the balcony. We found only one bowl for our breakfast and were advised to use the cups as bowls which would not have been practical for cereal or fruit and yogurt. A little more generosity in the provision of towels would also have made the stay complete and would have avoided the use of the washing machine.

Wonderful Stay
Wonderful stay, beautiful views and very friendly, helpful and loving hosts. We enjoyed everything about our stay at Donna Titina. The walk back and forth to town was a great way to work off the meals that we are.
Looking forward to seeing Peppe & Donna Titina again.

Christmas week in Sorrento
We stayed Christmas week at the Donna Titina. Peppe was a great host, available with lots of recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The Villa is very nice and comfortable for two people.
We enjoyed having a kitchen to have breakfast at the villa before heading out for the day. We cooked dinner a couple of times. It's well furnished, but no counter space to speak of.
It sits near the top of a steep hill with beautiful views from the patio of the bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius. Sorrento is a great place to make day trips from. Even though we had a car, we walked a lot into town because the little road going up to the villa is narrow, winding and steep. You'll definitely get your exercise walking, which is great to work off all the bread and pasta! It's only a 10-15 minute walk into town and easy to walk around the town from there.
We would definitely recommend Villa Donna Titina and found Peppe a delightful host.

This is the Real Deal - we loved it
When I look for fun places to stay I always like to see "a great host" mentioned. We hit the jackpot with PEPE! He made our stay in Sorrento a lifetime memory and we're very grateful to him and his family for their generous hospitality, and especially Pepe's help and great suggestions. This made for a great experience in Italy. Casa Donna Tittina has a spectacular view and nice space for four. We enjoyed it tremendously.

A PLEASANT STAY WITH A GREAT HOST
OWNER PEPE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE HELPFUL. VIEWS GREAT. ACCOMMODATION SATISFACTORY. LOCATION UP STEEP AND NARROW ROAD. CAR USELESS ONCE YOU GOT THERE. PEPE WILL TRANSPORT. GOOD EXERCISE UP AND BACK TO TOWN !!

Great location, very comfortable apartment, all amenities.
This apartment is very well located for Sorrento town centre (10 minutes walk) and the train and bus services (5 minutes walk). It had all the amenities we needed and when we notified the agents that there was no DVD, as per the specification, it was installed immediately.(The welcome pack was not exactly as stated - no coffee or fresh fruit!) The wi-fi and air conditioning were excellent. Since our holiday was mainly day trips and excursions it was perfect for us, but it would not be ideal if you were planning to spend a lot of time in the apartment - the balcony is not ideal for sitting in the sun as it overlooks a busy main road and the sun doesn't reach it until late afternoon.
