Very relxed stay, nice hosts, made breakfast even though we were apparently the only guests in the place! Own wine was good but not fantastic, but it was nice to have the opportunity to buy some of their own wine right there on the premises. I would stay again!

When we booked through booking.com, the booking was for 4 people - 2 adults and 2 children - at the stated price. However when we arrived the hosts wanted an extra 10 € for each of the children to sleep on a couch in our room. This should really have been included in the price according to our booking. However I did not complain about this as they offered us a complete second room for both children for just an extra 30 €, which was actually a really great deal and we happily accepted this (and the kids were happy to have their own room, too). However if I had not been interested in a second room for the kids I would have insisted that they keep to the original price quotation for the single room for all 4 of us.

it is in quiet village, just a villa with couple of rooms, no reception but they were flexible (but calling from dutch number if we are in Slovakia, can surprice)

actually I paid in cash (cradit card terminal not in service) and suddenly I see it is also deducted on my bank account... annoying extra work, if I consider I will get it back... a bit slower process all around

Breakfast and dinner were lavish and delicious. The lady that welcome us is really nice and helpful. We highly regretted not to speak slovak (we know only a few words but we manage communication). We had a wine tasting there and I cannot but recommend Limbavin ;-) The place is high value.

Very warm and open owners, beautiful apartment and surroundings.

The house is very nice. Room was decent size and I liked how the room was furnished. You can buy local wine straight from the reception and they do have wine tastings. Owners are very nice, but they do not speak English so it might be a bit difficult if you need something extra and can't speak Slovak/Czech.

It was quite hot outside and the room is right under the roof and has no air con. There was a fan, but you don't really want to sleep with that on. Also it is a bit far away from stores/restaurants, but nothing too bad if you have a car.
