there is noting not to like, from the location, to the staff, and the locals made this stay most enjoyable.

The best place to stay in popoyo/Playa guasecate. The owner and staff where super helpful and accommodating. Giancarlo is very knowledgeable about the surf in the area. Right on the beach, but sand in the room and common area was not an issue compared to other places I have stayed on the beach. The place was always really clean. Free coffee is ready every morning. We will definitely come back to wild waves.

Giancarlos and his lovely family went above and beyond to make our stay very special. The location was absolutely perfect to check the waves as you walk straight onto the beach. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It has definitely been the highlight of our trip so far. Absolutely loved it.

The breakfast was simple and sweet. The owner Gianni is very cool and always do his best to make sure that we feel comfortable.

I made a mistake with my booking but it was no problem at all for Giancarlo and we fixed it straight away. The surf house is very clean and located right off the beach and within walking distance to the local restaurants and convenience store. Giancarlo is very knowledgeable with all the local surf spots and can give any advice you need. Our taxi was delayed when we checked out and he went out of his way to drive us to the bus stop. The surf house is an excellent place to stay if you want to be right next to the surf with a well equipped, clean kitchen and friendly staff. The wifi worked perfectly and there are boards to rent across the road with surfing out front on high tide. Magni rock (beginners bay) is about a 25 minute walk across the river at low tide. Would highly recommend 🤙

Gianni and his family were wonderful hosts. Gianni was constantly and instantly ready to help, answer questions, or just to chat. We ran into some trouble with our surfing class where we felt ripped off and Gianni intervened to help us get some financial restitution, although he really did not have to. The vibes are immaculate, the beach is nice and the room was nice, big and clean. We would definitely recommend anybody to stay in this place if they get the chance.

We had a great time here. Very relaxing! The owner helped us regarding getting to the place which is not the easiest. And Nordal who works there made the stay very comfortable, he enjoyed cooking so we had nice dining time with him. Super equipped kitchen.

traveling as a couple it’s more then perfect, alone socializing might get difficult

one of the best night I ve made in nicaragua in 3 weeks. the rooms and kitchen are very clean. it as been a real pleasure to stay there for a bit of time as Johnny the host will do everything that he can to help you in any way. i loved my stay there and can only recommend a thousand times !

Great location for surfing. Norlan was a great host and caretaker, we also got to meet Giancarlo the owner. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly guy! Would definitely stay there again, very comfortable place to stay/surf/relax.

The location of the house is perfect: 20m walk to the beach, nice bars, cafés and restsurants nearby. Nice hammock place to relax just behind the house. Large rooms, good storage possibilities and enough plug ins to charge your electronical devices. Each bed has it's own fan which is really important with regard to the moskitos...

There was a mistake with the reservation on booking but after a quick phone call with the owner we found a good solution. Unfortunately the bathroom in the 2 bed room is really smelly and the water drain in the shower works just badly. If you open the window in the bathroom your room will be filled with moskitos as there's no moskitonet on the window there. The big window to the patio has a moskitonet.

All was really perfect, the staff, the owner, the view, the room, all !
