The breakfast (and food in general) is tremendous! The staff is just great, very warm and welcoming, they really make you feel you’re at home. And don’t forget the nice view :)

The staff were very friendly, hospitable and accomodating. They helped me with everything we need to know about the island and helped me booked my transportation to the airport. We checked in early and they were very helpful. This place is highly recommended, the villa is quiet and the environment is peaceful its everything I need for a nice holiday.

We took the big Top Floor King bed Suite with a nice view and Terrace. The Breakfast was tasty and their Infinity-Pool was very relaxing. The staff are okay but we are very satisfied with their facility Manger Mr. Jorjie R. who really matters for the guests.

The Service was a little slow and unmotivated this time and the new crew needs maybe some more Training. Because of the fluctuations (not their fault) of the electric-Power all the time, the Fans and the AC was not able to cool the big room on the 3rd floor properly. So sleeping was not a pleasure at this time because it was just to hot and humid. The Management (via Front desk) not really cares even we ask them many times for a solution or changing of rooms. This was just a bad experience for us.

Everything! The location is excellent. Close enough to the main street, shops and Cloud 9, and far enough from the noise. A quiet place with a crazy view and good air. Amazing pool, really really delicious food, clean, very comfortable, huge balcony, spacious room, kind and helpful staff, very nice owners, child-friendly. Best place we've been to.

From time to time short power outages, they know and take care of it. Too bad we couldn't stay longer. 

Stayed in a huge room stepping onto the pool. stunning views overlooking small but perfectly manicured golf course. and on to the sea. would recommend renting a scooter as it’s a bit of a way to beach and action. Do Dong at reception helped with this (400p per day and bike was fine) Special thanks to George for his help with ideas of places to visit on the island.. .. he also has a wicked swing and an hour round the course with him introduced my partner to the game and reignited my frustration in playing it. Wilbert our caddy deserves a mention here too . very nice man. would recommend if budget suits

These are more suggestions than complaints and would take little effort and minimal cost. firstly the welcome at reception lacked any warmth or charm and that remained consistent throughout our stay.. some customer service training here would help .. salvaged by George who was great how about some complimentary tea and coffee in the room for us early risers? you’ve already invested in a kettle!! our room wasn’t refreshed during our stay. I didn’t ask as I would expect this to be done without having to. This is just not acceptable for a classy resort despite seeming to be the norm in the Philippines

The pool and the room per se were nice.

The service was really bad, they took ages to get anything done and the staff had a lot of communication problems due to a lack of English skills. The AC was failing all the time. The food was ok, but the prices were way too high for the size of the portions All in all not worth the money.

it's fairly small which guarantees privacy and not too crowded of a pool. The perks of having access to the small golf course is a plus. It's fun and free and it's a beautiful view from the rooms or the pool. Staff is nice. they did help transferring us to another resort.

Sometimes the service can be lengthy and full of misunderstanding, because of some of the green staff. but overall very nice and welcoming team.

We like a lot the swimming pool! And our terrace with the view! It was so beautiful and amazing to relax there ! And wanna say big thank you for the staff! The ladys wa so helpful for us everytime! and so so kind! Salamat Po! And thank you for the most delicious banana pancakes! 😍😍

That apartment don’t have wardrobe

The food, view and pool was great!

Although we really appreciate that the property offered scooter for rent, those were in very bad shape. We got our stuff stuck under the seat with no way top open.

- Very large room with a great view (3rd floor). - Friendly and helpful staff. - Great food at decent prices. - Very nice pool. - Scooters are available for rent at the villa at competitive price.

- Wifi was bad: It didn't reach the room and even when connecting from common areas it was very slow and unreliable. - Location is not great. It's about 15 minutes' walk to get to the beach. - Room was not prepared for 3 people despite us booking for 3. In my opinion the biggest point for improvement is the wifi.

The swimming pool was nice. Perfect for destressing.

Unstable internet. We also encountered some creepy crawlies in our hotel room such as cockroaches, ants and a lizard that lives at the back of one of the paintings hanging on the wall.

Staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. Food is very good - delicious! Small and very homely intimate feel. Rooms are big with balcony/terrace and very comfortable, nice views. Jorge with organise transport and tours, I thoroughly recommend the 3 island tour with private boat (inexpensive). Golf is rough and ready and all included - was great fun playing with Jorge - he's pretty good! All round I loved staying here!

villa maya is a small oasis in the middle of siargao. amazing staff, amazing food and amazing views. we loved our stay there.

The staff are absolutely amazing! the view is amazing, clean rooms and great pool.

We liked the tranquility and cozy atmosphere at this guesthouse with a nice Infinity-Pool. Since it was not fully booked it is really quiet. One only hear the sound of the birds and nature and the early morning greeting Rooster's crowing (but still from far). We also liked their food from their small Restaurant. The room is big, also the bathroom with rain shower. We also liked the friendly staff members Jessica, Irin, Jorjie and Gerome.

There was no electric fan or ceiling fan in the room, so we need to open the AC (a bit on the louder side) since our room (New Pool view Villa), is getting a bit hot in the afternoon. We also missed a Towels/Cloth rack outside for drying. It is not a big deal for us, but would be a Bonus for guests. Wi-Fi was a bit slow inside our room.

the view in 3rd floor is spectacular. the room is expensive but worth every penny. huge rooms and quite location

The location is difficult for old people and to anyone have physical disabilities. the stairs going up made me feel like I worked out for whole day. it’s in an uphill so I’m not surprised . wish they have more variety of foods they offer

the lady at the bar was very nice. the pool was like in the pictures.

They did not service our room in the whole stay. No clean towels or sheets or cleaning in 7 nights. Compared to other places in the area this location is extremely overpriced. The food menu is extent but they have approximately 3 things available. The airport pickup service is double the price of other locations. They say free golf but charge you for the balls. The ac broke multiple times a day. They say there is wifi but its only at the bar and didn't even facilitate the password.

We stayed initially on the 3rd floor room. Spectacular views, nice room, great pool, tasty meals, and scooter rental is available. Jessica (Property Manager) and Erica are both real assets to the hotel - extremely polite, lovely people and will do their utmost to help with anything you need. The owner seems like a nice guy too - he can hit some pretty mean golf shots and barely missed the putting green lol. The resort (like all the others on the island) have fallen on a bit of hardship over the last couple years with covid and the typhoon, so there is a bit of rebuilding / reconstruction going on. However, the resort is in fantastic shape, despite being smashed badly 5 months ago - you would almost never have known about the typhoon, they have done such a good job. The location is also great - nice, quiet, peaceful nights sleep.

We stayed in the ground floor (New Villa) room on the last 2 nights. The air-conditioning was not working, so was a bit uncomfortable - this desperately needs fixed. Other than that, its a lovely room. The other 2 ground floor rooms also desperately need mechanical powered and passive ventilation installed. Once these errors are fixed, it will be pretty much perfect.

It’s a place you go to when you want to just unwind and relax. It’s not ideal if you want to go out tho :) and the internet is bad, something to note to if you need to work. Also mobile data works decently in the premise. They didn’t have too much food available from the menu, but the ones we tried were good. They have sweet dogs in the area too :) The view’s great too.

Everything was amazing! Large appartment, very comfort and clean with amazing view! Good location. Staff very kind, food delicious! Seriously we had amazing time!

Nothing to disslike

The property was fantastic and was perfect for our stay in Siargao. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating and the room was comfortable for my girlfriend and I. On the last day when our driver to the airport didn’t show up at the last minute the host rushed to find us a new driver so we just made our flight. We would stay here again anytime.

The wifi is non existent
