We had a wonderful stay in this very nice Hotel on the magic island of Hydra - hope to come back.

Fantastic location, wonderful second story outdoor patio with terrific view of the harbor and town. Easy walking distance to many interesting shops, cafes and fine restaurants. The hotels history is fascinating and the preservation beautifully done and maintained. Delicious Greek breakfast each morning. Management and staff were extraordinary

We didn’t mind it but the staircase up to the hotel facilities and rooms are quite steep and there are many— difficult if carrying heavy things or if someone has walking issues. Thankfully the hotel provides transferring of suitcases etc to and from rooms and to the other side of the harbor where the ferry docks.

Great hotel. You are however paying (alot) for the location and the brilliant terrace overlooking the harbour which is a great place to watch the boats come and go. The staff were lovely and breakfasts delicious.

it is an old mansion in Hydra very well preserved and with the greatest view that you can imagine. it’s awesome.

Location was fantastic. Staff went out of there way to help us. Breakfast was so delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast room very gorgeous.

Breakfast, service, location and setting were exceptional.

The emergency lights kept on coming on throughout the night and the electrics in the hotel were not ideal and so when they went off, the main lights in the room came on. Was not possible to fix.

We had a lovely stay at the Hydrea. Location is perfect and hotel is beautiful. We loved the delicious breakfast on the terrace and our room was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Hydra is the most gorgeous island and we found our stay very relaxing.

It is more like a guest house than a hotel and therefore feels a bit overpriced. E.g. no bar and no restaurant. The wifi didn't work in our room at all. A couple of issues on check in such as the bath plug not working and a broken light bulb. These were fixed by the helpful staff, but you don't expect these problems when paying that price.
