We planned a short stay in Ürgüp for our wedding anniversary. We went to see a few other hotels before we decided to stay in Aja hotel. Perfect choice! We were received by 2 brothers, and they helped during check-in and adviced us with a good restaurant. The room was very large and cozy. The bathroom was excellent, with a large pool/jacuzzi for 2. The bed was good. We went in the winter, and the room/hall temperature was perfect. Next morning we did a ballon tour, arranged by the brothers. We were picked up from our hotel, and after the tour dropped off in front of our hotel. At breakfast we were received by the mother of the 2 brothers for breakfast. She is a very nice older lady, and made us feel like we were at home. She prepared a lovely breakfast - we could eat as much as we wanted. After breakfast we had a good chat, and at noon we checked out. She even gave us a present in the form of a local delicacy! Very nice family owned/runned hotel by lovely locals. Definately a place to return to next year!

We stayed at AJA for 3 nights and it was spectacular. This boutique hotel is beautiful. It was completely restored by the owners & each room is tastefully decorated in Turkish style, showers & bathroom are large.We felt like we were members of the family. We would come back anytime!

Amazing hotel with great staffs especially Eray (The night receptionist). Helped us book a shuttle to & fro the airport. The breakfasts & massage session were lovely. Had a wonderful time staying in this hotel.

The distance between roof-floor of the room & toilet was too short. Some structural changes would’ve made our experience much better.

An excellent hotel that offers a very comfortable stay made special by the excellent staff from Eray to Ceylan and Cigdem. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast sumptuous and excellently prepared. The hotel, efficiently managed by the brothers Serdar and Hasan, is well located and beautifully done up but the real plus of the stay is the very helpful and warm hearted staff.

I traveled a lot and stayed in many different hotels, I have never been as comfortable as I have been during my stay in Aja cappadocia hotel, mainly because of the friendly staff and the home feeling during my stay.

I can’t think of any thing I didn’t like.

Loved the breakfast. Honestly I didn’t book any activities and booked it through the hotel. All the activities were excellent and we also got discount for the balloons which I was pleased about. We got free extra to some museums because we stayed at this hotel. I would definitely go again.

Expected two double beds but got one double and one single.

The hospitality was amazing. The hosts were so lovely and we were even serenaded on our anniversary. They were always willing to help,booking us tours, transport, and meeting all our needs. The place is beautiful and clean. Lovely Family business run by a lovely family.

The room we were given was very small. It wasn't a cave room as expected but a attic type room with low ceiling. Hardly place to move around much. Good if you just need a place to sleep and go.

It’s a family owned authentic boutique hotel in Ürgüp . Location was great within walking distance of town center and restaurants and safe. Staff are incredibly helpful during our stay and it feels like you are visiting your family instead of staying at the hotel. Emsal Hanım’s warm hospitality and Turkish kindness towards every guest makes Aja Hotel special and stands out from other hotels. As it is a family hotel, Emsal Hanım’s sons (Hasan & Serdar) work there and were very professional attendivr and helpful. Cappadocia is a wonderful place to visit and made even more enjoyable by the hospitality of the Aja Hotel and its staff.

The staff were amazing. Although language was a barrier, the friendliness and warmth was palpable. We felt like part of the family. Hassan, Sardar are so friendly and warm. Get Hassan to play his instruments for you - he is incredible. Their mother is so wonderful. Hassan's baby is adorable! Breakfast here is incredible, and they will accommodate you if you are vegetarian. So kind and humble. The bathroom size was good in one room. The other one was very small.

Rooms are very small. Even the one meant for 4 adults. Especially the one on the 2nd floor. There was no room for the suitcase for a couple. And for them to walk. My brother is on shorter side of the height spectrum and he couldn't had a hard time in the room. The shower in the room was broken. But other than that everything incredible. Extra bed was not the most sturdy for an adult's weight, but it was good for a child.

Everything is great, one of the most beautiful hotels I stayed in during the month I spent in Turkey, from the owner of the hotel and his wife, and everyone is nice and helpful, thank you for everything

We enjoyed 5 nights in a very comfortable and cozy place. The staff was super friendly and we could have great breakfast - the greatest I ever had in Turkey. Even though restaurants in town are closed due to covid restrictions, they organized take away meals to eat in the living room and we had great wines... One evening we could even listen to Turkish music... our stay was even better because we could sit by the fireplace in our urkup suite or enjoy the jacuzzi. I highly recommend staying there. I definitely want to come back in summer time to enjoy Terrasse and courtyard ;) thanks again and hope to see you soon! Claudi and Savaş

Nothing, everything great!

Excellent hotel that makes you feel at home with your own family. Friendly people who are all the time smiling, welcoming and would do anything for you to feel comfortable. They even kept in communication with us before our arrival to ensure that they arrange everything the way we want. Very clean and spacious room. The breakfast is so good and fresh. The location is close to the city center with plenty of shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely would come back.
