Close to everything. Clean.

Could have used a pan for the oven and perhaps a microwave. Other than that it was perfect.

After shower all bathroom floor was wet. It was also wet around the toilet. No duvet for second bed only thin sheet provided.

I travelled with my young daughter, we stayed for 3 nights to visit Athens and around. Location is great, at a side Plaka street from the main arteria. Despite all the traffic, very quiet street and apartment. Within short walking distance to Acropolis, Olympieio, Syntagma metro (to airport) and car rental agencies at Syggrou. Gardens accross the road. Supermarket AB 5 min walk. Very safe area also in the night. All this was key to us. Very nice kitchenette. Oak veneer, wow! There was a useful electric kettle and a toaster. I was surprised to find an oven, a washing maschine and a large fridge with freezer which can be useful for long stays (but was of no use to us). On the other hand I missed the breakfast kit: a few larger mugs, large tea pot, müsli bowls. That is somewhat strange as this apartment is so well equipped for long stays but lacks some fundaments for a continental breakfast. That is only a minor issue though. Bedroom is separate from the living room (with kitchenette) which is what we were looking for. So it was perfectly possible to work and read until late while my daughter was sleeping. The bed is a large matrimonial, very comfy mattrace. I would prefer to have the option of 2 separate duvets but that is a minor point. There are two large French windows in the living room and the bedroom so it is possible to let fresh air in.

The disturbing issue with this appartment was the fact that radiators were removed and thus there is no heating in case one arrives in the midst of the Athenian winter. (If you are from the UK, please stop reading here). When we arrived it was 8°C outside and perhaps 15-16°C inside. In a normal world the air-conditioner would be a quick fix but it seems to me that Greeks have never heard of the sorts of Daikin or Toshiba, so the majority of the AC park in Athens consists of inefficient Chinese wrecks. Well, it was also the case here and it took ages to heat the room albeit it was not large. Moreover both outdoor units are mounted on a side wall of the bedroom so you do not want to run the device when someone sleeps. If the weather were rainy, it would not have been a pleasant stay here since there would be nowhere to let the cloths dry. I suppose most of the year this is not an issue in Athens though. The bathroom looks nice, designed....but as it often happens, design was subordinated to practical life. The walk-in shower without a door produces water spill all around and so does the small designed washbasin. A floor rag/cloth urgently needed! There are also no hooks, nowhere. The shower head was of good quality and water pleasantly hot so that made the balance. The apartment does not have a nice view as the small balcony faces a narrow worn-down patio with an ugly concrete wall. On the other hand that is why it is so quiet.... So if you are looking for an Acropolis view, this is not the place. On the other hand, I prefer this rather that some of the shiny hotels on the busy roads where it is not possible to open a window at night due to the constant traffic noise. There was also one funny thing: the hanging lightbulbs over the bed. We could not find the switch (if exists at all?) so the fix was to unscrew them for night. The host is a "virtual", guiding the guest efficiently per SMS. Perhaps AI, who knows...?

Well designed apartment in a good Plaka location, mostly quiet, until near the end if our stay.

Balcony faces the a wall, bit grubby, no view. Wifi was dodgy for first two days, until reported and fixed. The kitchen is in the living room and has an electric hob and oven which make the main room very hot after cooking.

Great location, close to many restaurants and central staring point to discover Athens. Good communication with property management

Noisy neighbours can be disturbing. Don’t forget to push the button to have warm water. Balcony on apartment 2 is only useful for a smoke, not to relax in the evening after a long walk.

Breakfast was not included. The kitchen appliances worked very well not to mention there was a full compliment of kitchen ware. Everything worked very well. Very well furnished and maintained apartment with everything provided for a comfortable stay. A microwave would not have gone amiss , mind you.

A microwave would have been handy. There is nothing we did not like. It was an exceptional accomodation from all points of view. The location was brilliant straddled between syntagma square and Acropolis with national gardens across the road.

Excellent location within the heart of Plaka & within walking distance of metro at Syntagma Square, which connects Airport & Piraeus.
