This property is fabulous! It is centrally located with great views of the river and city. The onsite parking is a Pay to Park lot, like most of NOLA. I would definitely treat myself and stay here again.

Size, location, beds, showers, kitchen, etc… everything was fantastic! A few people mentioned the train, and yes, you hear a train. But it’s NOLA!

What an amazing booking! We all felt we won the jackpot. Stunning views of the river, bright with amazing windows, fantastic views from every room, beautiful furnishings, awesome kitchen, fantastic location, minus the train. (Consider bringing ear plugs). The property manager was responsive and accommodating. We were all so pleased! Thank you :)

We made a last minute trip to NOLA and were thrilled to get to stay at this property! Very convenient to the French Quarter and the Business District. My son has cancer, so the cleanliness of the property was very important to us, and we were not disappointed. It’s very well maintained! Everyone in our group loved the layout and charm of this location! We hope to come back and stay again with friends in the future!

Great property but can be noisy with street traffic and train.

This was our second time staying in the Panorama Penthouse! Perfect location and beautiful space. Looking forward to next year!

We had friends visiting New Orleans with us this week and our stay at the Panorama Penthouse was fabulous. Like other reviews, you should probably bring a white noise machine and/or ear plugs because of the train noise. But...you ARE in the Big Easy, so ...close to Jackson Square, walkable to some tasty restaurants as well (Mr. Ed's, Thaihey and Irene's). The unit
has excellent security, a keurig machine, full size washer/dryer and comfortable beds with ample closet and drawer space. Just an ideal location with nice views of the Mississippi River! Communications with the management were excellent/easy. My friends and I would most definitely stay here again.

A group of 6 stayed at this property. Located within walking distance of the quarter. The accommodations are great with 3 en suite bathrooms. The space is big and we enjoyed the open floor plan. The area is probably safe but beware of people loitering in front of the building. The big minus is the noise from the train which is particularly bad for the main bedroom. If you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs!!! Tyrone was prompt at returning my messages. We would stay here again.

Do not stay here. I booked this condo for my daughter and her husband (ages 35 + 36), and despite the fact that the condo is beautiful, they had a nightmare of a time both with the unit and in their interaction with Tyrone and Jenny, the hosts. They had to leave after the first night. They checked into a hotel for the rest of their stay in New Orleans forfeiting the entire cost of the VRBO. Here’s what happened:
1 - There’s an extremely loud blasting freight train horn directly outside of the building. You will be woken up every hour, and there is not a chance of a full night’s sleep. The horn is so loud the windows vibrate.
2 - Tyrone's tone felt rude and aggressive when my daughter reached out to ask for help re: the noise. Tyrone did not respond in the promised timeframe and was unhelpful when they were finally able to connect. My daughter sent two polite texts to ask if there was a white noise machine available, or if perhaps the train schedule wasn’t as frequent during the weekend. When Tyrone finally called back, he said the blasting train was “ambiance”, there was literally nothing he would do to help. He told her she was “lucky it wasn’t gunshots.” This was scary because after booking, and upon googling the address of the VRBO, we found out that a violent robbery took place directly outside of the building in 2017. A quick google shows surveillance video of the brutal attack and the entrance shown in the video is the entrance to this VRBO.
3 - There was no hot water. This was of much less concern than the noise or the gunshot threat, but nonetheless unpleasant for luxury accommodations at this price point.
4 - The condo is not a penthouse despite being advertised as such. There are 5 floors and this condo is on the 4th floor. Not of great concern, but this listing contains inaccurate advertising which is consistent with the illegitimate nature of this entire operation.
For context, this is the first negative review I have ever written, and I am solely writing this to share precautions with future prospective guests. This unit looks beautiful online and is in close proximity to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, but comes with serious problems and safety concerns.

Nothing but good things to say.
Only area for improvement is a higher hot water temperature in the main bedroom.

Fabulous penthouse with stunning views smack in 'energy central'. Big, open floor plan with walls of windows. Simply breath taking..

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. The check in process was a breeze and you can walk everywhere you need to be in the French Quarter with this as your home base. I do have to stress though that you can hear EVERYTHING outside your windows. Including the trains that will come by at 3AM, 4AM and 5AM blasting their horns for five minutes straight. I want to stress that it is so loud that if you sleep in the master you will be woken up multiple times in the middle of the night. We’ve lived in New York City so thought the noise wouldn’t be bad, but it was such an aggravating part of our trip to not get a single night of good sleep while we were there. If you are an extremely heavy sleeper or here to be out all night, you won’t find a more charming and convenient apartment. But if you’re looking to get good sleep at night either bring REALLY good ear plugs or find someplace else sadly.

Tyrone was great to work with and we enjoyed our stay!
Perfect French Quarter location and a great renovation of a historic water front building.
Will definitely stay here again.

We love the city been coming every year multiple times as far back as I can remember. Our first born was turning 21 and we decided there’s no better city for her to experience a proper cocktail than the OG for most cocktails. Location was great. If you’re sensitive to noise at night bring some earplugs it’s not often but you might need them.
This is a spectacular accommodation that you must not pass up!!!

Overall, the property was very nice and in a great location. We would definitely stay again. The one comment I have is that the unit is not a penthouse unit as described in the listing.

This property was nothing short of amazing! The amount of space for us girls was more than enough and the interior/decor was very beautiful. The property is located near everything and just a short walk from the French Quarter while still maintaining its calm environment. Tyrone was very helpful/responsive and we felt at home the entire trip (we did not want to leave haha). This property as well as the people of New Orleans really made our stay worth while. I would absolutely book this property again!

The property is beautiful. We had three couples and it was ideal. The location is very near Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, Excellent restaurants, Antique shops. Right on the river. The aquarium, World War II museum, Harry’s Casino is all within walking distance. We parked and never needed our car again. Everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here.

The apartment is truly first class and it was perfect for 3 couples. The location is superb. Everything in the French Quarter is very easily reached from the apartment and we would definitely stay here again. A couple of comments:
(1). Getting into the building is confusing. You can use the access code that you are given to enter the building itself however, the elevator to the apartment will not operate until the exact moment of the check in time (4:00 PM).
(2). The apartment is on the 4th floor - not the penthouse floor as indicated in the instructions.
(3). We ordered food in advance from Rouses and had it delivered by Instacart. As no one is in the apartment, you need to order the food for a time when you will be there (we selected between 4 PM & 6 PM).
(4). The coffeemaker is a Keurig. I tried to obtain this information in advance from Southern Comfort but got no response. In fact, Southern Comfort was not easy to reach which is why I gave them 3* instead of 5*.
(5) The apartment does have kitchen cooking equipment but it would not be enough to cook extensively during your stay. I suppose because the food in NOLA is so delicious, they assume that you will mostly eat out in restaurants!

The location was perfect. The accommodations were 5-star. The building was charming. It made my first time in New Orleans extra-special. I would LOVE to come back.

Such an amazing location and set up for our getaway. The girls and I had a fabulous time and would highly recommend! Only thing to note is the train that is in close proximity to the house can get quite noisy in the mornings but you get accustomed to it.

Beautiful place, super clean. There are three bedrooms, one king, and a total of three queens in other two room, not four queens. Check in instructions are a bit tricky.

Awesome weekend in New Orleans. Luxury at it’s finest. Great location in French Quarter and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

This was possibly the best place I’ve ever stayed at in New Orleans. It’s close to everything yet you have plenty of room. It’s also very safe with various locks. My only complaint would be that we couldn’t figure out how to go down on the elevator. Sometimes it would work and other times it wouldn’t. But overall, I highly recommend it for anyone who want a luxurious, spacious place right on the French quarter.

We stay in New Orleans 6-8 times a year, and this just became our favorite place! It's open and bright and has the most beautiful views! The large open kitchen is perfect for entertaining, which we always do. Location is safe and walking distance to the quarter and many many great restaurants! Can't wait to come back!
