brilliant location, superb large and clean room with fantastic views breakfast was also very tasty and a great selection love the refit of the bar area, really smart

The location is perfect. The room was spacious. The staff was friendly. För us it was a perfect stay.

The place has lots of history but one notices that the days of glory have passed

We really liked the hotel, lots of history - it has aged beautifully - , atmosphere, and a tranquil setting. We had booked room with breakfast, but decided to have dinner there as well and can really recommend it! Very tasty lamb and wine. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Bathroom in the room need renovation or fixing at least. Nice big bed, but the pillows were very uncomfortable! The staff was good and friendly, but too many guest for only two waiters.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet place, it’s surrounded by forest. The stuff in the restaurant was friendly, and food was nice - it was very difficult to find something tasty in Platres and Troodos.

The hotel is quite old-fashioned, the furniture is really old. And it’s look like they haven’t done some renovations since the hotel was run. It smells unpleasant in halls, there are a lot of very old carpets - it doesn’t look hygienic.. They even can’t provide you with a modern hair dryer- this one in the room must be older than me and burned my skin and hair. Facilities outside look abandoned, like in a horror film. I booked sauna, but it was cold when I came, the stuff asked to wait and I waited 30 min, and after that sauna was still cold so I cancelled my booking. Nights were bad too - beds and cushions are uncomfortable, and the walls are very thin and my neighbors behaved noisily at midnight.. I don't think the quality matches the price. I wish it was a better place to stay.

A nice place to rest and relax. The room was well heated and had everything we needed for our stay.

The whole village has an old school vibe, sort of stepping back to the 80’s, and this place just fits in perfectly. Very attentive service in the restaurant and food reasonably priced. great base if you are planning to do hiking up in the mountains.

Im sure this place once was a brilliant hotel, but its age is now heavily visible. I didn’t go there to watch TV but at least one English channel would have been nice.

The atmosphere of the hotel, very good breakfast, friendly stuff, good location ideal for excursions to other villages.

Only one elevator on our floor, no soundproofing we could hear our next door neighbours who were very loud and noisy.

Breakfast and maybe sauna. Please note the latter is free but also shared and you will have to make an appointment in the reception.

Cleaningness (smelly rooms). One elevator to fulfil the 7 levels of the hotel meaning lots of waiting in the hall. Very old furniture and design of 90s. Parking is free but full in the weekends so you might have to walk a bit. Reception and staff were dull and lifeless. Pool was not heated (Jan 2023) and really dirty, insects were dead inside! :( And that's for the Renovated wing! For some reason it is still a choice in Platres, probably due to lack of competition.
