The room was quite spacious.
The facility and cleanliness could be better.

It was quiet.
The beds were good.
There was a lift.
It was too far out of town if you didn't have your own transport. Taxis cost €10-12 each way.
The "shuttle" service was inadequate as it did not offer a return service.
On site restaurant was too expensive.
Gluten free options were not on offer.
There was only one dreadfully uncomfortable chair in the room.
We left after 3 nights and moved into the centre of town.

Clean room, friendly stuff

Breakfast could be better. Simple things like boiled eggs would have gone a long way.
Rooms where clean, blankets were clean but old and could do with updating.
No eggs or variety in breakfast

Nice wild nature surrounding the hotel. And view from the terrace.
WIFI was ok.
The hotel doesn't respond on the emails.
Very old hotel. Elevators are small and old also.
Poor breakfast, everything was open and very poor choice.

Very convenient location for our requirements and a great hotel to access the Old City. Free parking on site and a very comfortable room. The staff were extremely helpful especially Emanuele and Roberto. If we come back to Perugia we will definitely stay at the Ilgo Hotel.

Decent breakfast and variety
The bathrooms were too small. No place to turn. Shower stalls were very very small

Room was good but with a small/compact bathroom/shower but for two nights perfectly adequate. Breakfast was typical Italian continental: - cereal, breads and 4 different types of croissants (all but one not being sweet), fruit, cold meats and cheese, various sweet cakes etc, fruit juice, coffee, tea and milk. The hotel also has its own restaurant for dinner with a comprehensive menu including Antipasto, Premo, Secondo and Contorni, desert and coffee etc plus the obligatory local wine menu.
The Hotel location although advertised as only 1.5Km from the historic town centre - is not straight forward to find unless you are driving and have a good SatNav or arrive by train and get a taxi from the station which can be expensive. The other options are taking a bus and then walking which if you are not travelling light it can be awkward/cumbersome or taking the mini-metro to the historic town centre and then walking. The Hotel offers a regular shuttle service in the morning to the nearest bus stop as it is situated near the bottom of a hill but not to the historic town centre

It was a good value and really perfect if you are driving as it has a parking lot. The room was clean, though it felt a little dated. The front desk staff were great, very polite and accommodating. it was also nice that they had a restaurant This is rare but really great because the hotel is not central. The food was good. The chef knows how to cook. There is a bit of a walk if you want to go to a nice place to eat.
The interior of the rooms is a bit dated, but clean. The walls are thin as you can sometime hear people speaking in their room. or maybe the people were just loud. 😃
At the restaurant I was given the English speaking menu. This menu was so simplified to a point that it did not even name the pasta. it just referred to them as noodles.
You need to have a car. since the hotel is in a park. there is NO WAY. You’d walk through the woods at night.
good stuff to add. Nice toiletries and they actually had a suitcase rack. So great for short-term stays when you are not unpacking.

Excellent bfast that catered for childrens needs. They also offer a minibus service that takes you near central Perugia
While Hotel is clean, it is a bit dated.

We arrived late and had some issues with the towels being dirty, and the staff was so helpful even though it was very late. The day after they apologised with a red wine, which we thought was so kind of them.
The hotel seems to be in a forest, and it was so nice to hear the crickets and being able to see the stars.
We booked the room very late, and was told that it was the reason why we had a "bad" room as the hotel was fully booked. The room smelled of sweat when we entered, it looked like a hostel with bedbunks (I think we got a family room) the carpet needed a cleaning, and the non-slip shower mat was so dirty that we removed it and the bathroom was tiny. The walls in the hotel was very thin, and we could hear everything, in the night we could hear loud TV and in the morning we where woken up because of somebody entering and leaving their room 1000 times.
We had the possibility to see one of the better rooms when passing by, and they looked much better. So perhaps they just need to upgrade some of the rooms.

The space of the room is very good, just like the airco is very good. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, this was for me the main thing I remember from this hotel.
I stayed here during the Umbria Jazz Festival which might resulted in a bit off price and quality ratio. When comparing the rooms with other hotels it might be a bit overpriced.
The shower is a bit small and with some alternative showerscreen it can be made more spacious.

Going out for dinner in the evening. Free parking. Shower was ok.
Hotel is basic. Air conditioning didn't work and we reported it to Reception upon arrival. It was a very hot time in May and was over 30 degrees. We were assured someone would come to the room to take a look, but it didn't happen and wasn't fixed for our stay. Breakfast was very basic, buffet style.

Although it was a little further out of town than we thought it was very friendly and taxi fare were reasonable. Very quiet.
Staff exceptional. Especially late night staff. As we were there for the Jazz fest. We were late. Very amenable and friendly nothing too much trouble.
