The breakfast and its staff were exceptional. The front desk personnel were especially helpful suggesting where one should go to see the sights of the city and area. Room was large and had a nice view of the port area. Everything was functional. Maids were very attentive. Had parking on site.
Parking pattern a bit complex getting to garage and lifting bar by having to exit vehicle to press button, but not difficult to overcome issues.

Location.
1. Bracket holding the shower head was broken and could not hold the shower head in place.
2. We had an early morning checkout before breakfast time (which was paid for) but could not get a coffee before our departure.

Well located for all that Volos has to offer, and with the added bonus of large well-appointed rooms with comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast!

great location and value for money. very comfortable bed and we had a great room upgrade to a corner room which was lovely of the hotel
overall the hotel looked tired, needs some renovation, the carpets in the hallways were stained and tired, however everything was clean ans respectable, just needs a more modern makeover, and it could be an amazing hotel, as great location in this great city.

The breakfast was nice with a good selection. Items were of average quality and staff in the breakfast area were nice.
The shower design is poor and the water doesn't just leak out, it pours out. If I had taken a long shower the water would have run all the way down the hallway and not out of the bathroom and just a meter into the hallway. The toilet paper holder pulled off the wall when I pulled down to get some toilet paper. And the bathtub didn't drain very well to say the least. When I told the reception, I was asked if I could live with it. Not the desired response and thus the lower rating.

Excellent room and balcony, very close to the Port for the Ferry the next day. All amenities very good.

A/C fan not usable, so freezing cold we had to turn it off. Rhe porch was shared by other guests to no window or door could be opened. When asked for help hotel stuff offered another room.withput even checking the unit.
The A/C in the other toom was a bit less freezing but too cold to use. Fan could not be eliminated a well. Loud noise from outside so the door to porch had to stay closed.
The bed was extremely small and the mattress had a very big dent. The sheets were not put in place.
It was late at night and we had to leave very early so there was no time to try to move to a 3rd room.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

You can't find a better hotel then Volos Palace! Everything is perfect: location, staff, room, breakfast. All are kind and pay attention to your needs! Good job!

We stayed a second time in Volos palace and we are happy with the hotel. Good location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, tasty breakfast, free parking in front of the hotel.
The two rooms we booked were on different floors, but for one night not really a problem

Air condition was too high, either the room was too cold or too hot. The beds could be better, more pillows are required
