Great location and facilities
For a five store resort there is no escaping that they are understaffed to offer the level of service expected. The staff they do have are great and attentive but stretched to thinly. As a result extremely long wait times

The villa was excellent. One of the best that I have stayed at. The rooms and bathroom are large and staff is very professional. The staff at the main buffet restaurant was excellent. The cleaning lady was amazing - special thanks to her
The staff at other restaurants (i.e. excluding the one at the buffet breakfast place) need to be trained in hospitality

Beautiful gardens and view on the waterfront.
The Indian restaurant was very good. Beautiful beach despite the many boats. As we were traveling with a baby we were allowed to check out later. The personnel was also very helpful and kind.
The mattress was not comfortable and probably a bit too old. The beach is beautiful but the continuous driving of boats, including speed watersports, at a short distance from the shore is quite disturbing and pollutes the water at the end of the day. I think that the hotel can't do much about that as they are probably external tours. It was very hard to find a place at the restaurants when trying to book a table.

The report is amazing and had everything we wanted plus more. The staff were exceptional on every aspect which made everything enjoyable. They had plenty of restaurants, atleast a couple of large pools and quick access to the beach. A lot of water sports (From the nautical club) were included for the guests which we didnt expect but was great.
The restaurants were great, good quality food but on the pricey side. We were on our honeymoon and the staff ensured the honeymoon experience was great.
They also had evening performances at the pool bar everyday which was fun.
The beach is stunning, even though it is public the sunbeds were only used by guests and the beach is not too busy.
The resort is actually not too far from the local shops and restaurants so you can walk out to explore.
Nothing to complain, already considering coming back next year

Trou Aux Biches is one of the best beaches in Mauritius. And the hotel is in the beach. We stayed for 10 days and it was a great holiday. Restaurants are especially delicious. The staff if so kind, friendly and helpful. Spa is a must here. If you are going to Mauritius Beachcomber resort is the best.

Breakfast very good. Excellent location on the beach with spectacular sunsets.
On site restaurants are very pricey compared to restaurants of similar and better quality outside the resort. I also found drinks at the beach bars to be excessively priced - even local beer.

The pool employee Mammed was very very professional and kind. He welcomed us on our first day, and every time we came to the pool it was a real pleasure to be his guests.
This man is really special and we'll miss him.
Go Mammed! We love you!
Also, the reception representatives were very professional and kind.
The house keeping team were very good, the room and towels were clean all the time.
We mentioned several times that it was our honey-moon (posponed due to covid and pregnancy), and we expected to some minimal gestures for that.
We asked for some balloons for Tomer's birthday.
We had a mouse in our room during one of the days.
You didn't explain before we came that the dinner doesn't include drinks (even a glass of water).

Everything was absolutely amazing. The room, the pools, the beach, the food, the staff. A true 5 star experience all the way through. The restaurants in the local area leaves a bit to be desired, but the hotel restaurants truly deliver on this front. It's a resort so obviously you're not really trying to leave the place during your stay, but I had no desire to.

We got treated like royalty and were made to feel really special. We took advantage of the honeymoon special offer ( you had to have been married in the 18 months before your stay.)
We were driven by golf cart to our impressive thatched lodge in the most beautiful tropical surroundings, with bright yellow weaver birds busily chirping from the palm trees whilst building their woven nests.
There was even a complementary bottle of Champagne on ice,and some delicious macaroons and chocolate. Our stay at Beachcomber was the highlight of our Mauritian holiday.

the location on the long beach is marvellous, the gardens of this massive hotel are luxurious and well kept. food was excellent and varied. the rooms had a nice big size and balcony (we had 1st floor rooms).
the whole experience lacked detail and attention from the staff. unless you asked, little service was given. ordering coffee at breakfast and drinks at dinner time from staff at the buffet restaurant meant a long waiting time for the items to come to the table. the buffets are huge but half the dining hall is too dark as inexplicably most of the illumination is turned off. plates are not promptly removed nor are empty tables cleaned and reset for late comers. the no-lighting problem happens also in the various garden pathways. we arrived in the midst of horrendous rainfall that lasted through our entire stay, no alternative pastime was offered, no simple card or board games, not even an extension of the strict 10 o’clock breakfast deadline.
