Absolutely everything was perfect. The staff are a delight and a credit to the hotel. I had the misfortune to break my arm on the last day, and everyone was so kind and concerned. From the gardeners to top management we were shown and extended a warm welcome. The grounds are immaculate and well tended. Everywhere is spotless. The food at the buffet breakfast, lunch and supper was varied, plentiful and delicious. A wonderful place to stay after hectic touring.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. If one was really picky you could say that internet connection was occasionally variable in quality but a very minor point.

Really great week at the hotel for some February sunshine. We are a family of five and stayed in a two bed apartment, very spacious. We don’t usually do all inclusive and intended to eat out if we got bored but in the event we didn’t and the food is really nice. Good variety and high quality (we saw some produce being grown in the gardens), I would have loved some more fresh fruit but that might be a seasonal thing. The staff just go out of their way to make it special (thank you especially Muhamed and Mahmoud in the dining room), we happened to be there over Valentine’s day and they added little touches like Valentine’s cakes to the room, drinks receptions and and Egyptian show on that evening. The grounds are lovely, two pools, one active and heated and the other calm. View of the golf course. It’s a short walk to the beach which is nice, lots of sun beds and windbreaks in the Jaz area and a snack bar and drinks there also included in the all inclusive. We used our two trips to the water park which is a short drive or 20 min walk, both easy. The water park is really great (even for me and they’re not my thing) and when we were there was very quiet which is great as no queues. The kids absolutely loved it. Food also included there, not wonderful but filled a hole. All in all we had a great time and would return.

I would say everything was great: from the staff, polite, smiling and always available; the decorations and cleanness of the room; the food of the buffet was delicious; just 5 min walk to the beach and shuttle available as well; nice pools, rooms and view. They offer trips everywhere else. I loved makady Bay and everything in general was perfect! Shokran!!

Thank you so much to all the people in this hotel. Particularly to Lada, Abodi, Eliwa and Ahmed from reception. The food was very various and of a good quality. All inclusive drinks everywhere. Baby club just for some hours in the morning and then I’m the afternoon. It would be great to extend the hours so that also parents can relax a little more. We had a really nice vacation. It was our first trip in Egypt and we will surely be back again! Family from Italy, Rome

A shuttle to the beach. Daily entertainment. Daily cleaning Food is good

No Egyptian songs or music. The balcony locked from inside while we are in outside. No money change available. Non professional workers. The broken safty box in the room. No lost and found station, my wife lost her hat in the resort.

The personnel is friendly.

The hotel segregates guests based on nationality: if you are a holder of the Russian passport you can not pay with credit cards. They refer to some direction of the Central Bank of Egypt although other hotels are not aware of this regulation. What a shame to come across such a situation. The floor in the room was extremely dirty, safe did not work, shower was inconvenient.

We loved the facility, the service, all the team and particularly the hotel's director for his commitment, availability and kindness. This is one of the most valuable deal we had during the last 5 years. Please do not forget to visit Luxor.....and give tips to all people serving you as king/Queen. THE STAFF! The staff is amazing, very decent, helpful, smiling… a special thanks to Chef Osama and the waiter Eliwa from Shams Restaurant (and all the other waiters) and a special thanks to the waiter Mahmoud from Coco’s bar.. and to Margarita from the guest relation, she’s very decent and professional. They are all lovely. The food is excellent. The animation team is very funny. The rooms are very spacious and clean (unfortunately there was one TV missing) but overall the room was excellent with a perfect view.

Unfortunately we’ve been shocked from the fact that they sell tickets for people outside Makadi to access the Aqua of Jaz Aquaviva from 10 to 5pm!!! So the Aqua Park was VERY crowded, the people weren’t wearing swimming suits! It was a Disaster and it was a very bad experience. How can the guests’ hotels pay from 5000 to 8000 L.E per day in any Jaz resorts and go to the same Aqua with people who pay entrance tickets?! We went to Jaz Aquaviva 5 times before, and it was never like this! Big disappointment.
