Really I was very impressed and satisfied from the resort very cozy all the staff are friendly and have a big smile and very respectful even the resort was about 100% full , there were no differences between Egyptian and foreign , the food was delicious and were variety of food , my room was 3215 and the responsible of the room service Hassan was very nice , the managers of the restaurant also I was satisfied and I will come back sure

the animation team I think they must make more activities and the night show must be more longer

In my stay the weather was windy and kinda cold , given it is the end of april and winter wasnt almost over, when i asked for the heated pool they said they switch it off by 15th of april which was completely inconvenient for me and my family because we dont feel either happy or comfortable in cold water

We were upgraded to a great room, large and spacious, huge bed and great view. There were lots of things to do to occupy your time - we tried flying yoga, pool gymnastics, step and yoga. There is something for everyone at this hotel.

For us it was too big. The food, while plenty of it, lacked simplicity and healthy options. Staff were sometimes rude and unhelpful.

The resort is beautifully designed, they have lots of flowers and palm trees that really are taken care of. the rooms are spacious, the cleaning couldn’t be better and the staff is very attentive if you tip. The food was delicious and a lot of variety, even at breakfast time. Every evening they have a different specific cuisine so you can’t get bored. we also tried both of the restaurants: vista mare and the fish restaurant and both were delicious. I can’t understand how people can complain about the food, as we read online in Egypt you can really have problems with the food but here it’s not the case. As for the animation, the animation team is fun, we participated almost in every activity and we really enjoyed it. The resort also has a jogging trail that we ran every day. We will definitely come again here because we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Cleopatra & thank you to all the people that made our stay feel so pleasant. Hakuna matata!

the water in the pool was cold wifi could be also in rooms, but that was not a big problem since we bought sim cards from the airport

All the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Good animation team. Beach is beautiful. Hossam in the reception sorted our issues professionally. The fresh oriental bread in the restaurant is a big positive.

Briefly My Experience at Cleopatra luxury Resort Makadi bay, during my visit (03-03-2023) was so bad as follows: 1- Only one restaurant (Called Soko), unlike most of Hurghada resorts that provide multiple cuisines and restaurants 2- Very limited activities (Barely No Activities) 3- Very Rude and arrogant staff (Know nothing about hospitality) 4- No Wifi access, which is up normal 5- Room essentials, such as hand soap, tissue, slippers, were not found...Beach Umbrellas were insufficient 6- Lastly and most importantly, freedom restriction, as they have banned wearing shorts while dinning, (Claiming House Rules) which have annoyed most of guests whether local or foreigners) Never to be Visited Again

I liked the beach, the amenities and the room which was a new or refurbished one.

I wish the room had slippers or bathrobe or both.

The space was great, lots of beach and grounds to walk along even outside the resort without getting harrassed. The snorkeling from the 2 jettys is amazing for hurghada.

Was given 2 single beds not a double. We may have been able to change but we had just left another hotel because it was so bad and had only 3 days left of our hols so could not be bothered.

The room they gave me was very annoying where you hear noise from the AC system . Even if you switch off, there is very bad noise. The plates in the restaurant smell very bad and I had to talk to managers to wash them well. A house keeping worker opened the door without knocking my door which will never happen in any hotel even if it is one star hotel Gym is very dirty with dust that has not been removed for ages I think workers need to clean and sanitize machines well. All the workers need training as this is a five stars hotel not a one star I will never ever go back as I did not have good time and I was very annoyed. I have been to the same resort in sharm al sheikh and there is a big difference between both

very big-spacious-multiple pools-beautiful rooms -staff was very friendly. when our flight was canceled we were welcomed back to the resort -to stay the whole day @ no extra cost- till the next flight that evening . great service!

food was not as high of quality as expected-we all got sick during the trip : ( it all looks beautiful-but taste is not always amazing and quality of meats etc not always great. for a 5 star resort I expected greatness-i would consider the food 3 stars in European standards.
