Short version: It was amazing. Long version: - Front office, check-in and reception: The moment we arrived, Mr. Ahmed Hegazy welcomed us and walked us to our suite while explaining everything we needed to have the perfect stay. Not only that, he kept following up with us every now and then to make sure that we’re satisfied with our stay. Thank you Mr. Hegazy ! Also, all the staff are the reception are very friendly and will offer all the help they can. - The Room: Our royal suite was like a dream, very spacious, it has all the accommodations needed and the has a huge terrace with your own private pool. The suite was kept clean everyday, the fruit basket and beverages were also replaced everyday. Big thanks to Mahmoud for taking care of our suite ! - Restaurants: The food is excellent, you will never get bored since everyday there is a different theme (Mediterranean, Gala, etc). The staff are just the best, they take care of the guests and make sure to answer all their requests with a big smile. I’d like to thank Salama, Mostapha, Chef Gomaa, Ahmed and Mohamed for making our stay memorable. - Pool and Beach: Both are very clean, you can get drinks while sitting near the pool or the beach, quick service and good cocktails. (Want to thank Mr Achraf and Wael for that)

I think the only tiny thing to mention is about the internet in the suite, The Wi-Fi reach is poor so we were using our mobile data while on the suite. It didn’t matter to us since we had a lot of data to use while in Egypt and we didn’t really care much about internet while on holidays.

Everything especially staff members who were very friendly and helpful all the time starting from front desk, room service and restaurant staff. I really appreciate Small Impressive compliments and souvenirs. Restaurant manager was really nice as well as his staff. Food variety and quality was real good.

Privacy in private pool suite was not hundred percent assured, some spots were slightly exposed to neighbours, otherwise everything else was really good.

The food at the resort was excellent. We were able to pick from various restaurants during the day, including the beach and pool bar, which was very convenient. The quality was very high and there was a great variety. Fares from Housekeeping was superb. He left the room immaculate every day, and also made the effort to create some wonderful towel animals - the elephant was my wife's favourite. I also want to thank George from Entertainment for being so hospitable. He recommended some great restaurants in Hurghada Marina and went out of his way to make our stay special. All of the F&B staff were very friendly and helpful. The coral reefs located directly on the beach of the hotel were magnificent. You can rent, or buy a snorkel set, and swim with all the beautiful fish without having to get on a boat. This was a lovely surprise.

In all honesty, the rooms are very dated. It is a shame that the standard from the rest of the hotel doesn't match the standard of the rooms. The A/C unit in the room was extremely loud. Luckily we didn't feel the need to use it during the night, however I can imagine this being very annoying for someone who might require it while sleeping. The blowdryer in the room was terrible. It kept stopping while my wife was doing her hair. I would recommend to bring your own to avoid this happening.

Staff was really helpful. Ahmed at the front desk helped us with extending our stay and making our stay enjoyable. Staff at the restaurant always greeted us with a smile. The hotel itself has a nice pool and really clean beach (dont forget your snorkling kit as well ;) there are some snorkling masks to borrow if you forget). We had our little one with us and the room service did a very good job in making our room look perfect after the mess our baby does.

Our stay was amazing. There is a wide variety of facilities in the resort and things to do, beside the very tasty food. The staff are really helpful and nice especially Mr. Ahmed Hegazy who made our stay unforgettable, ask for him.

I read a great number of reviews about this place before deciding to go here and I believe I made the right choice in the end, although some things could've gone a bit more smoothly. The location and the hotel itself are pristine. It's easy to get there by getting an Uber from the airport (which, by the way, is extremely cheap - taxis from the airport offer you a price that's 5 times steeper!). It's extremely secure - Makadi area gets a police control upon entry and you're supposed to let them know the hotel you're staying in. But high security is the rule when it comes to Egypt anyway. The hotel looks luxurious. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool, a pool bar with decent cocktail recipes. Indeed as other guests have mentioned, alcoholic drinks are included for all-inclusive: egyptian wine, cocktails, shots (we had Ouzo with our dinner), they even had sparkling wine available. I personally recommend the beer, it was one of the tastiest options. There's a very high variety for food. Keep in mind that the 7 restaurants that are mentioned in other reviews are NOT included in all-inclusive; you only get one free visit to one of them, your next visits need to be paid for separately. We opted to take all our meals in the restaurant which was included, as there was always a lot to choose from. I have never seen such variety in a buffet-style restaurant before. A couple of things to note: there's grilled meat and an ice cream station for every dinner; pancakes, waffles, fresh juice and an egg station for breakfast. A nice touch! Drinks are served on the beach as well as at the pool. The beach is 5-10 minutes away either on the street to the right or in between hotels to the left. To the right you get out directly to the diving center, which is quite convenient. In your room, you get free snacks, beverages, a bottle of wine even, cakes and fruit. These are refilled each day during room service.

The internet is TERRIBLE. Sure, people have said one wants to "disconnect" during their vacation, but what if there's an emergency (like in our case)? There simply is no stability in the connection, it drops constantly, you can't even connect automatically (at least I couldn't). Keep in mind we had a router in our room, that's how bad it is. Something needs to be done about this, this is the 21st century... We had the 'chance' to peruse the clinic for a medical emergency. The doctor was helpful and the services were fine, but EXTREMELY overpriced. It's a really, really, really bad idea to head here without a travel insurance. One can only wonder if these services are set at such a high price specifically to benefit off people's insurance... We didn't tip, but it seemed like the person responsible for room service was kinda hinting at getting a tip when he kept telling us he'll "leave for a flight tomorrow". He was doing an okay job nonetheless, but the person who came after him told us one day we'll have room service in 10 minutes... 10 minutes turned into 2 hours. Then, same person told us our snacks would be refilled in 10 minutes. That didn't happen for, well, more than 24 hours (until we departed) Food was acceptable, but far from what should be the gourmet standards of a 5 star place. Some meal choices weren't that great. The water in the shower could be much warmer. So could the private pool. The staff should learn better english! There's a clear preference for speaking german given the great number of german tourists visiting, to the point when some staff (a lifeguard at the beach) didn't speak any english and insisted on addressing us in german. Everyone addresses you in german to begin with and there's clearly a difficulty for them to understand english, as we struggled to make ourselves understood quite a few times. This has to be addressed.

The food was varied and of a really great standard. The manager Ahmed and Ali on reception were extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure that we had a fantastic stay.

The food is magical , made with passion and heart. The hotel is immaculate. The Staff work tirelessly to make sure you are happy and get the very best out of your holiday. location is fantastic. Had a deep tissue massage at the Spa which was possibly one of the best massages I have ever had. We just had a magical stay and really really don’t want to leave. Thank you.

1) huge variety of food at breakfast and dinner. 2) free Egyptian wine with dinner. 3) nice environment with extremely well kept gardens. 4) Premier League football on TV. 5) entertainment in the bar after the evening meal. 6) nice view of the desert from our room.

1) the plug in our basin didn't work properly. Neither did the bedroom curtain. 2) its basically a package holiday hotel for German tourists. We were among the few non-Germans. 3) there is not much to do in the area other than relax and snorkel. 4) we couldn't get the air-conditioning to make the room warmer.

The staff is absolutely the biggest asset of this place! Everyone was so friendly, fun and attentive and went the extra mile to make sure we had the best time. The spa was excellent and great value for money. We had a room with a pool view and what a view it was to wake up to! Also, definitely try the Nubian Margaritas - amazing! Would certainly recommend the place, the best service I have received anywhere.

The gym is basically just a room with some limited equipment, but I was the only one when I went, so it was fine. The actual beach is a little bit further and not right in front of the hotel - just a 5 min walk from the hotel, plus the pool is quite nice anyway.

The hotel and staff were excellent. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The food quality was excellent for all meals. Special mention to Mr Ahmed from Front Office who helped so much with any requests - thank you! Also the restaurant staff, particularly Muhammad, Fady from the entertainment team, Enes and Nadia in the Spa, and Mohamed in the beauty salon. Also the lovely girl in the reception bar ( apologies, forgot her name). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend.

Need to deal with maintenance issues more quickly - could not use safe, and one balcony chair requested changing, but didnit happen. Reception toiletsare on a motion sensor, the timing of which is too short given the sensor is near the entrance. This is important as some guests were older or disabled - it is pitch black once the lights go off and therefore dangerous.
