Cozy, beautiful, quiet accommodation walking distance to the old town

Aconchegante e Românticos, os quartos têm vista para o Palácio da Pena. Servem o pequeno almoço no quarto e têm um ótimo estacionamento para guardar o carro.

O chuveiro preciso ser melhorado, é um bocado antiquado.

Lovely stay, close to the centre of the town and the castles. Little steep hill to get to the centre but its not far. Parking available and the room was lovely, heated and clean. Breakfast was nice too in the room. Staff is super lovely too :-)

The room had a balcony that gave great views. The option of selecting breakfast delivered to our room was such a nice touch! Had everything we needed for an amazing stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful as well! They helped with purchase of tickets to attractions, directions and held our luggage after checkout.

Peaceful location but walking distance to the center of town and local sites. Comfortable room with simple breakfast nicely presented at the requested time. Friendly staff. Gates made it feel very safe.

Wat een beetje tegenviel was de minimale hoeveelheid brood bij het ontbijt. 1 klein croissantje en twee minibolletjes ter grootte van 1/3 krentenbol per persoon. Als je meer wilt, bijkopen……das wat karig denken wij dan.

The staff was extremely helpful and everything was better than expected: the rooms, the view, the proximity, the breakfast, etc.

Would help to have satellite pics/street view pic’s of how to get to the location. A police officer waived us away from our turn and had to make an additional 13 minute loop of driving on curvy mountain roads.

El hotel es precioso, situado en zona verde donde se puede ver el Palacio de la Pena, Castelo dos Mouros y Quinta Regaleira. Se respira paz y tranquilidad. La habitación era preciosa, con suelo de madera y el desayuno lo traen a la habitación. Reservamos el parking por lo que dejamos el coche allí y fuimos caminando a todos sitios. El personal muy amable y hablaba español. Disponibilidad de fuente de agua filtrada para rellenar las botellas y piscina! Aunque no nos dio tiempo a usarla.

The room was very comfortable and grounds beautiful. It was lovely to have a swim at the end of a hot day with a view of the hillsides.

Small airco didn’t really keep up to the unusual hot temperatures. Should normally not be an issue.

Location..peaceful be fantastic views. Very helpful office staff and owner. Facilities…swimming pool, separate self catering area, good Wi-Fi, water re-fill station.

Breakfast was not sufficient and too limited. Self catering facility did not include basics such as sharp knives or scissors.

This hotel is about 8 minutes away from the center of the city. It's quite the hike to get to the Moorish Castle and Pena Palace. The room was cute and had a great view and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfortable and the room had a fan and mini fridge, which was definitely needed. We included breakfast with our stay and they give you options of what you want. They bring it directly to your room at your requested time and we enjoyed it on our little balcony. The reception staff was incredibly helpful and explained everything about the property to us upon arrival. I think this would be the case for every hotel in Sintra, but it takes some very narrow streets to get there.

Staff was incredibly helpful and really attentive to all the details. We had our entire close family with us for our wedding, and everything was perfect. The pool was chill and the rooms super comfortable and with all we needed. We have some complex requests and everything was prepared and arranged by the staff. Do not hesitate to stay in Casa Do Valle, you won't regret a thing!

This place is a gem! Loved the view and cozy atmosphere surrounded by nature. Super comfy bed and wooden floors. Very friendly staff, lovely welcome tour in our own language, finnish was a joyfull suprise! :)

Family type hotel, walking distsnce to town

Room did not have a tv as advertised, but one was supplied without fuss.

We loved the views, breakfasts, room and kind, helpful staff. Sintra was a great base for exploring Lisbon and the coast. The castles were great, especially Montserrate which was quiet, calm and beautiful. We didn't have a car but found the trains to Lisbon easy to use and Uber taxis were reasonable. Beware the circular tourist bus round Sintra - a round trip cost us 50 Euros for 4 adults! Although steep, the middle of town was easily accessible. The supermarket was a bit further away to walk but on the manager's recommendation we used the Glovo app to buy food for lunch which was easy to prepare using the hotel's well-stocked kitchen. Eating it by the pool was bliss, with fantastic views of the castles. We stayed 10 days and it still didn't seem enough! Thank you everyone at Casa do Valle!

Very peaceful. Great service. Beautiful property with close proximity to the main part of Sintra (we walked everywhere but like many places in Portugal there are a lot of hills). Staff was very kind and accommodating especially with our toddler. Parking was a bonus!

Bathroom could use a bit of TLC. The patio area for our room was not totally private, but we enjoyed talking to our neighbours.

Beautiful location, hotel territory is very well maintained. Our room was quiet and comfortable with a great view on the surrounding hills and castles.

Breakfast was quite limited. We've got a confirmation that there will be a taxi waiting for us in the morning of the departure day. However, when the taxi did not show up and I called them, we found out that the hotel stuff never contacted the taxi.

They bring you the breakfast to your room. Fantastic to sit on the balcony/terrace and enjoy breakfast to an amazing scenery and surroundings. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms. You are able to borrow towels for the pool for free at the reception. Only good to say about this place!
