The location, staff, cleanliness and breakfast were amazing
4.5
The hosts were very personable and readily available to address any requests/issues immediately. We were very satisfied with their customer service. The breakfast was spread was amazing. The local recommendations were a plus. It was super helpful to have onsite gated parking for the rental car. We felt very safe.
The bed was pretty uncomfortable/stiff. It was supplied with two flat pillows. We requested and were immediately given an additional pillow each, but it still didn't feel like enough.

bed wasn’t firm enough personally ( for my back)

Nada. Fue todo peeeerfecto!

The service with the lady that checked us in was great, she was very welcoming and made adjustments so we could check in early, as we were going to be too early for breakfast she kindly made us up a bag for our onward journey.
The bed was very hard and not comfortable only one pillow was provided and no spares. We didn’t have a very good nights sleep at all. The towels didn’t dry properly as they were so thin.

The warmness of Ms. Claudia's hospitality is incredibly awesome. She was in all her sweet smile attended for what we needed, our requests.
The breakfast was good, abundant. We didn't care about the distance from the train station because the welcoming of Villa Rocla is a terrific surprise to us.
Sort of my bed and my friends' ( couple) bed too.
Little uncomfortable, But we had managed anyway.

Very big room, nice and clean bathroom. Shower was amazing and LED lights were a nice touch. The aircon was much needed. Bed was comfy and neat. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again!

Great location, super breakfast.
A 10 minutes walk from Pompei. Unless you are using it as a base to visit other places, we would say one night in Pompei is enough.
Shame we had to pay to leave luggage (we later found out you can leave it for free at the Pompei site)

We went to Pompei just for a night because we wanted to explore the ruins. Didn't have any expectations about "Villa Rocla" and the city.
It was such a pleasant surprise to find this amazing place with one of the nicest host. We want to thank him again for the recommendations he gave us about places to eat, transfer to the train station and the organisation about visiting the ruins.
Breakfast was amazing.
If you ever go to Pompei, stay there and trust all the recommendations you get from the host.
Everything was PERFECT!

Perfect location to visit the nearby Pompeii Ruins as well for the Amalfi Coast and the Vesuvius volcano. Car can be safely parked. Breakfast was basic but good and fine for us. The owner Roberto was helpful and friendly and did his best to provide us a nice stay, and succeeded in doing that.
The beds were not our favourite ones during our trip through Italy

Roberto could not have worked harder to look after his guests. This sweet little hotel is unpreposessing from the street but has a pretty garden at the rear, ample shaded parking and smart modern rooms. It's a good value choice if you are visiting Pompeii and the friendly and welcoming host is a great asset. The hotel is just around the corner from the main entrances to the ruins, so you avoid the massive crowds. Once you're in the site, btw, its so huge it didn't feel crowded even through there were plenty of coach parties.
The ruins of Pompeii, a World Heritage site, are now engulfed in the shabby suburbs of Naples so outside this hotel it's all potholed roads without pavements and quite a lot of traffic.

Great location , Clean Facilities and Roberto the owner was very kind and helpful to provide information for the area. I would go back easily

the host was lovely, extremely helpful with tips on how to get to the place, the transport to use and to see the sights. The room was clean and really good value for money. the place looks like it’s photos.

The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and complete (egg, ham, cheese, sweets, good coffee). The hosts are very helpful and polite, the communication was good. Parking spots available. Good value for the money.
The location is at 35-40 minutes away by foot from Pompei, a car or public transport might be needed. However, the pillows were not comfortable and the floor is super cold, flippers may be needed.

Very friendly owners, good breakfast, nice garden, great location, just a 10 minute walk from the Pompei Ruins, close to restaurants and mini-market, 20 minute walk from city center (main square). Highly recommended!
You need to be careful when going out - dangerous street with no pavement

The hosts are lovely people who will do anything to help you enjoy your stay.
They give you a map of the area, advise on places to eat and the best way to get around and see the area of Pompeii and Naples.
The guest house is off the beaten track but if you don't mind a short walk it is well placed away from the main hustle and bustle of Pompeii.
Loved our stay.
The room could do with coffee making facilities.

The facility is simple but functional, clean and the location is close to Pompeii center, if you have a car, I recommend !
Breakfast is good.
The neighborhood...

Service and breakfast was very good.
The rooms seemed a bit run down. But it didn't really bother us.

The staff were super warm and understanding. They went above and beyond to look after us. When we first got here, we noticed twin beds were pushed together instead of getting a double bed. We requested a change and first thing in the morning they let us move rooms. The rooms were spacious and had the right amount of storage. The air conditioner also doubles as a heater which was perfect as the tile flooring can cause the room to get quite cold otherwise. The water pressure of the shower was really good, although it took a long time for the shower to warm up. The bathroom has a bidet which was a nice addition also. Minimalistic room. The bed was a little on the harder side - which I love as it prevents any back problems. The breakfast was nice every morning too, they would provide you a croissant with breakfast which was really tasty. Free parking was also a bonus as it was part of the property which was safe! The room also looks exactly like the photos so no surprises!
The bathroom floor didn’t have a drain so after a shower my bathroom floor would remain flooded/wet unless they would mop it the next morning. I also was under the impression that the room would come with a safe, but it did not. The room also gets extremely cold so make sure you bring slippers and adjust the air conditioning/heating accordingly.

Amazing stay, such lovely hosts who are most helpful and kind. My partner and I would certainly come back. Breakfast was impressive for £5 a head.
Hosts are honest and open with you and will tell you where to go and where not to go. Beautiful place.

the guest was very helpfull and recommended places to eat and visit. It was the best fresh breakfast we had in Italy so far, highly recommended. Private car parking was very convenient. 10 minutes walk to Pompeia ruins. Large and clean room.

Great hospitality. The stay is great including the room, breakfast and stuff! Just a bit far from train station, around 15min walking ( slowly with carry on suitcase), but still acceptable 🙂

A very welcoming and clean property, with a beautiful garden. The owner gave me a map of the area and recommended a place to eat after my late arrival, which was great.

Clean and nice room
Beautiful courtyard in the back with tables and trees.
Roberto (the owner) is very warm and nice.
Good and big breakfast with very good coffee.
There is a parking for the hotel's guests
The location is good(close to ruins and to the train station) but a little bit far a way from the city center.

My wife and I appreciated several things about our stay - the staff was welcoming and very helpful with good advice for sightseeing, restaurants, parking, etc., the location was very convenient for visiting the Pompeii ruins, parking was secure, cleanliness was a high priority at the facility, it was quiet, comfortable and breakfast was good. What more could you ask for at a very reasonable price?

Super friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable room. The windows have mosquito nets of excellent quality which I was particularly thankful for.
Nice breakfast, beautiful garden, only 10 minutes walk from entrance of the ruins or 15 walk to train station.
I was glad I decided to spend two nights in Pompei, as it is very convenient to just walk to the hotel after a long day walking up the volcano or exploring the ruins. I warmly recommend this guest house.
The description of the guest house is accurate. You get what you have paid for. No complaints.

Location is great, 10min walk from Pompei.
Able to park there until 14:00 the next day, which was enough time for us to see Pompei
Breakfast was great, lovely coffee
Difficult to find the driveway at 21:00 at night.
We received a LOT of messages prior to arrival, reminding us about our stay and asking us about our arrival time, one message would be enough.
Warm milk provided for cereal

The hosts were amazing, all our requests were met with a smile and fulfilled. The place itself gives you a vibe of a summer house with balconies and little spots to sit outside on the terrasse. You can also borrow wine glasses/plates/cutlery from the kitchen. Our room was located on the ground floor and was quite spacious for 2 ppl and a little bag. I must stress out the cleaning. Every day our room was shiny clean and every 2 days we received fresh towels. This was amazing and definitely a plus point for me. Also, the host recommended us to visit the close by restaurant Caupona and this was hands down our most memorable experience. The food, the service, and the ambiance all is perfect.
A minor inconvenience, might not apply to everyone:
- I had to go to the lobby to catch wifi. Not suitable for doing any kind of work
- The first night we had some music playing outside which we could hear in the room. I`m a light sleeper so it was bothering me, though it was off the rest of the time. There is no bar or a disco, so I assume it was a one-time thing
- Location is perfect if you plan to do sightseeing and visit the ruins but not if you plan to reach the beach on foot. Though with the car it is not an issue at all, also free parking is an amazing option.
