The villa is situated perfectly between sea and mountains, making it a great place to either spend a quiet, serene vacation in the nature even with private kanoes for some water sport, bicicles belonging to the villa to explore the place or deciding to hike the mountains around. The close proximity to a lively city means too that one can spend some lively time in a reuring area but having the possibility to go back to a natural serenity of village life. The villa itself is built inside pastoral olive tree orchids and has all the amenities needed, including an outside BBQ and a few sitting places inside as well as outside so all the people staying can find some privacy if needed. The delightful natural treasures of mostly private beaches with a wild mountainous area can capture the imagination of the artistic minds between us. The owner, and his family has been perfect hosts helping with everything needed yet giving the atmost privacy. All in all, an exquisite villa situated in an exelent area with all amenities needed for an ideal vacation

Planning a vacation during COVID19 season is tough but we were lucky to find this location: - its in a small town so its not crowded. Still, you can find near by supermarkets and restaurants from which you can buy supplies and take out food. - the Avista villa is a little bit far from the main road so its quiet and secluded. - there's a natural beach close to villa, 5 min walking distance. Being a natural beach there are no beach chairs or bars to attract large crowds. The closest beach goers we at 50 meters so from a social distancing perspective it cant get any better than that. Also, the beach has shallow warm water which is perfect for small children; venture a little bit far and the adults can swim too. The sea bed is made of sand and small pebbles, there are no big stone boulders to injure yourself, in a few words is one of the best natural beach that i've encounter. - the villa interior is really nice, open, spacious, quality furniture and appliances. It has all the modern utilities worth mentioning, WIFI and AC, although i enjoyed the ceiling fans more than AC. Upstairs bedrooms have spacious terraces with a really nice view where you can sit and relax. - villa layout is great: we were 3 adults and 2 small children. Adults occupied the upstairs bedrooms and the kids were sleeping in the room next to the living room. That room besides the 2 single beds were the children were sleeping also has a couch and an armchair. I made that area my internet browsing spot were i could surf the net and also watch the kids until they fell asleep. - the windows have wooden sun shades so the interior was cool even during the day. - the villa has a large, gated yard with footbal gates, bicycles, hammocks, exterior showers and basketball hoop. Also it has parking spaces inside. - there are numerous beaches in the area within the 10-30 min driving distance - last but not least the host was excellent, thank you Michalis !

What i didnt like has nothing to do with the Avista villa, but i mention them here as things you need to be aware of: - use insects repellents, mosquitoes can be really annoying, even during the day (thank you tiger mosquito, you suck) - bring euros cash, the ATMs in the area are quite the modern highway bandits: fees varies from 8-13% of the amount you withdraw plus a 4 euro flat charge. Paying with a card is no issue, all shops have POS but if you need cash your in big trouble.

Perfect location, extremely friendly owner. The guy has prepared free of charge soft drinks and beers, white whine, snaks, olives and olive pasta. The villa was perfectly cleaned. Everything was as described - including 5 bikes and 2 canoes. Its about 6 min from the sea and about 10 min from supermarket and restaurants and bars. Strongly recommend 😉
