Nice, little room with a private bathroom/shower (they mostly do single wet-rooms in Morocco). There’s a lovely restaurant by the beach just at the back where you could meet up with the host if you have trouble finding it. The lady who runs it speaks excellent English and is very responsive.

We loved the terrace with beautiful view. Location is great, by the ocean and close to the old part of the town. Our room was small, but it was enough and it was clean. We appreciated private bathroom and small kitchen with basic equipment. The owner is nice and speaks good English. Ask him for short guided tour in the town.

Fabulous location in this very nice guest house & Asilah is breathtaking. Our double room had a nice bed & shower with a toilet nearby. We had the choice of paying for a breakfast & delicious dinner but we chose to use the well stocked kitchen to prepare our food. The roof terrace has stunning views of the sea is on two floors with tables & seating on each plus we were able to put some washing on the line It was sea at night

The price. Lowest (187 dh) on booking.com but two times price of local hotel Las palmas(100dh) and not worth a quarter. Location. Southern end outside medina... a long walk to beaches at northern end of asilah. Dirty, broken street. On 3rd/4th floors of shared tenement building (not detached building as described on booking.com). Owner. Woke me up at 9.30pm after 4pm check-in telling me to move room because check-in boy made mistake. If I did not move, I should pay extra. No apology at that time or over next 2 days. I was intimidated by this experience and certainly would have changed accommodation except for fact that the owner arranges with booking.com to get payment in advance (a rarity in Morocco where cash is king). Only time staff visible were at checkin or behind bedroom door at night. Booking arrangement included towel but no towel provided. Broken sleeping bag as 1 of Blankets was stained dirty. Other thick blanket was full of grit/dust. Stairs very steep and no railing. Plumbing and building standards very shoddy. Window in room 4 didn't lock closed. These are observable facts of my experience which I did not like.( I further believe that the unscrupulous owner will respond here by trying to undermine the legitimacy of my complaints as seen on previous reviews which i should have taken more seriously). Fact is I did not like this accommodation at all...it is unsatisfactory.

Very friendly staff who looked after me totally. Great location first the beach and right next to cafe overlooking the sandy beach. Nice quiet room with a view along the coast

The workers were very welcoming and gave us all the necessary equipements and things we need for our stay, we stayed there for one night and we recommend it.

Surprisingly expensive for what it is. Bed was too small I (180cm) had to sleep diagonally. Low water pressure. Cramped toilet with a used toilet paper basket that wasn’t emptied for 3 days. Perpetually wet floor in the toilet. There’s no gate on the south side of the Medina so it’s much further from the old town than you think. Incorrect location on google maps. Turn around from marked location; first right first left first door on the right.

It was beachfront

The room was dirty, with stinky smells from the shower drain pipe. Unbearable to leave the door open! The pictures do not represent reality. Missing roof terrace. They were doing refurbished work. We found out when arriving. A family with many children was living next to our room. I was observed when I was getting in and out of the room—leaving very little privacy for us. Overall the level of hygiene in the facility was shallow.

This hostel is very good value for money. You're very close to the city centre and right next to the beach. The man that runs the hotel -Abdal Qadir- is also really friendly and very knowledgeable about Morocco and Assilah!

Beach a few meters from place , this is a back packers stay ..The owners are very good and humble overall pleasent.

The family who ran the place are helpful and hard working. They try to take care of any problem that arises.

Our room had a shower that smelled like the septic tank. Also the room was quite small and lacked airflow despite having a window. Also there were issues of no hot water. Part of it was some problem going on with the city but also seemed like an issue related to their own plumbing which needs investment to upgrade.

The apartment is very cozy. The kitchen has all the dinnerware and cooking utensils to cook simple meals. Breakfast on the high terrace has a beautiful view of the beach. Abdel is a most gracious and accommodating host.

Everything was very good, the staff, the cleanliness, equipped with everything, the kitchen, the terrace and the hot shower.

I didn't like the room. I didn't like the noise late at night.

Breakfast was great, They even cooked for us I. The evening when we arrived late. Incredible experience with an authentic Moroccan experience with this family - We really will not forget our experience here at this place on Asilah and would recommend it to anyone!

We would have liked to stay for longer than just the one night we had in Asilah, but we will definitely return when we have more free time in the area!

Such a relaxing and beautiful spot, we didn't want to leave! The ocean view is incredible and they have a huge terrace. The breakfast was lovely. The family hosting were very sweet and welcoming. Definitely the best place to stay in Asilah, it's a very special place.

Only 40 meters from beach, not 250m. Highest terrace in Asilah for sunset. Breakfast in Terrace with nice sea view. Clean. You can sleep with ocean sounds.
