Ruffigt hus men upp på fjärde våningen och ett mycket gulligt hotell uppenbarade sig med världens mest serviceinriktade glada tjej som serverade gjorde att man kan inte säga annat än att jag åkte därifrån jätteglad.

Zaraz po zameldowaniu wyszłam na spacer. Wróciłam po 22:00, okazało się, że nie ma Ciepłej wody. Hotel mieści się w kamienicy i chyba musieli wyłączyć grzanie wody na noc bo już rano była. Jak w hotelu może coś takiego się zdążyć???? Przekreśliło to całą sympatię do tego noclegu!

The big mirror fell on my granddaughter’s fingers and she was taken to hospital and is now in plaster. It’s a pity that the mirror was not properly fixed

Most amazaing staff! Special thanks to Antoine who made sure we had a warm welcome and comfortable stay! The rooms are very clean and spaceous. The hotel is in an ancient Palazzo on the second floor. There is a beautiful patio in the courtyars where you can enjoy the italian breakfast (good coffee!). The location is very central, you are close to both the main shopping street as well as the main sights of Catania. Everything can be reached by foot in 15min. Public parking is available on the side streets.

I really liked the location, downtown but very quiet inside. We had a beautiful little balcony! Hotel is close to a beautiful little restaurant district! Was easy access and convenient. Hotel staff arranged a taxi to the airport for me and my sister on the morning of our departure. Hotel breakfast was outstanding! Loved the little outside courtyard to eat our breakfast in. The freshly made espresso was delicious and appreciated. Very nice lady working the breakfast counter. Hotel staff were super friendly!

Lovely property in the centre of Catania. The staff were super friendly and the coffee at breakfast was the best we had on our trip to Sicily.

The only negative was that there is nowhere to stop out the front of the hotel when you arrive.

The staff was so kind, and so friendly. Even helped us park in a very narrow space that would have been considered impossible by US standards. haha.

Nothing. I would like to add a note though, that the parking that is provided is one maybe two spaces in a gated driveway in a tiny alley. Great for leaving car there and exploring Catania by foot which we did. Might recommend seeking out a different parking lot if you need daily car access.

Tye bathroom hasn’t been cleaned thoroughly since the previous customer, there was litter in the bin and water splash marks in the shower.

Everything was great including the staff, rooms, cleaning, breakfast etc.

the air conditioner was so weak it took hours to cool down the room in June, and that’s at midnight. I called to inquire about the AC and was told to wait until the morning, instead of just offering a replacement room with a working AC. breakfast was nothing special, quite basic.

this hotel has a great location. other than that it’s a very old house that needs modernisation as the furniture, windows and doors are too old. the breakfast is not very tasty and would need more fresh options.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, all without exception. Excellent location, easy to reach all the main Catania attractions on foot. All you need was available, including a private parking, which however is not strictly necessary as it should be possible to find a parking in the nearby streets. Via Santa Filomena just a couple of blocks away with many restaurants. A special thanks to Marcello for helping us out with the parking entry/exit!

It was not obvious to find the private parking on arrival and a bit stressful, as there is no way to park even just for a minute in case you get lost. The parking is located in a narrow one way street with regular traffic and requires someone from the hotel to open the gate. We got a room just next to the reception, so it was a bit noisy at times. A rather small shower and breakfast room, but perfectly fine.

Breakfast was good. I wanted eggs and meat, which is probably not common in Italy, but this hotel got enough choices. Also the caciocavallo cheese was a nice addition. My room was spacious, the corridors have nice paintings to look at. Staff is very friendly, I could get as much espressos for and after breakfast as I wanted. All in all it was comfortable enough, and very clean.

The floor has no carpets, so it's cold to walk on without slippers. Spring mattresses could be more comfy but are good enough. I couldn't get hot water in the shower at around midnight, which would have been very appreciated, since this is when I was able to arrive. With the room being big enough, same cannot be said about the wardrobes. It would be hard for more than 2 people to put their stuff away. I booked 2 rooms, the other one was a single room, around 4e cheaper, but was way smaller and contained a double bed, so even for a single person it covered a lot of space and my friend couldn't comfortably put away stuff and move around the room at the same time.

I cannot fault anything - the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and decorated very nicely, the bed was really comfortable, and the location is excellent. I’d really recommend people to stay at this hotel!

The only fault is that the shower has a shower curtain instead of a solid door. Water gets out easily and floods near the shower. Cleaners come to the room everyday to clean, so it never gets bad, but there should be a more permanent solution. That said, this isn’t a big deal.

It's hard to find good hotels in Catania for a reasonable price so my comments should be seen in this light. The location is very good and central to all shops, restaurants and sites though 2 bus rides (about 30-40 minutes) or a 25 Euro taxi or hotel shuttle to or fom the airport. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The room we had was at the rear, very high ceilinged but a little dingy, the noisy rattling aircon clearly in need of repair (though it did heat the room effectively). Room was large and so was the bathroom, though the (hot, effective) shower stall was bizarrely tiny. Bed and pillows pretty firm. Small TV with no satellite. Breakfast very good with large mugs of excellent coffee. The rooms are on the first floor and the lift is very old fashioned and small. You will be met by a large blank closed door on arrival at the building but press the bell with the wheelchair symbol and they will buzz you in (after arrival you get your own key).

Dingy (if large) room, quite noisy aircon, small shower. Hard pillows.

Host tried tell that we didnt return key, and wanted get 100 euros from us.
