Location is superb, centrally located, all withing walking distance. Room size was ok. Break fast was good.

Everything was amazing! The room was clean and spacious, the food was super delicious, especially the pastries and desserts, and the service was probably the best I’ve ever experienced at a 5 star hotel. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Overall the atmosphere, service and experience were excellent!

Knowing full well it is an old hotel, I didnt expect much. However I'm humbly surprised by how memorable was my stay there. It serves splendid breakfast, is in an amazing location, and rich with history. The room was also comfortable and spacious. It was my birthday one of the nights and they delivered a little birthday cake to my room -- which I think is a lovely gesture. Lastly, this place has a great sundown view from the rooftop, make sure you look for Mr. Tu whenever you go there, he'll surely make you feel welcomed.

Staff location room was a good size. Also staff are great. One lady named Tram in Signature Lounge spoke very good English and was extremely helpful.

Be aware men must were long trousers at the Signature Lounge. Also not enough loungers at the pool.

location was great. The hotel also accommodated our needs very well. The breakfast boxes were great and allowed us to get to the airport early. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms very clean.

First room offered had a damp smell, however the hotel offered us another room which was much better.

Сырость в номерах и неизбежных запах плесени, вам придется смириться с этим. А еще постоянная влажная постель. А причина проста, система кондиционирования не работает в режиме осушки воздуха. Она имеет только режим холод и либо холодит до полного, либо отключена и сразу становится душно и влажно опять. Но больше всего удивило отношение персонала и правила расположения дополнительных спальных мест. Мало того, что даже номер с повышенной комфортностью ну никак не предусмотрен для установки еще одной кровати. Но вам ее обязательно предложат для ребенка вне зависимости от возраста и возьмут за это почти 100$ за ночь! За то что в номер в итоге даже не зайти из-за этой кровати. Номера очень маленькие и ставить туда еще одно полноценное спальное место невозможно! Отель старый, ковры в номерах грязные и тоже пахнут. Не стоит этот отель своих денег и уж точно не имеет смысла оплачивать дополнительные спальные места, если не хотите протискиваться между мебелью в маленьком номере.

Breakfast was good big variety of foods including soup station, egg station only thing I asked for boiled eggs twice but they didn’t have any Apart from this all good was of high quality and tasted good. Location was great could walk to most places like the shopping malls, Markets, Opera house, hop on off bus right in front as well. The room we had was great except for a chemical smell every time you entered not sure what this was but was not very nice.(only negative) Staff were great very polite and pleasant to talk to service was excellent too The seafood buffet was great too loved it A must if you can is to have the lobster roll it was amazing we had it twice and it was special. Had an egg coffee as well it was good but bay sd good as in Hanoi. All in all was a good time.

It is a beautiful hotel and an institution in Saigon and I have stayed there before. The one thing that irked me was because I had paid in advance with a debit card I could not charge anything to my room.

They have a nice experience at the hotel. All of their services are good. Their food is great and their people are fantastic.

I reserved a studio room for an arrival date of Monday July 10, 2023. My plan was to spend the week in Saigon taking care of some business issues I had and felt like i needed the week to do it. During the first day's stay I realized my son should be with us but He was two hours away. I called down to the front desk and had an extensive conversation about upgrading to a 2-bedroom suite so that I could bring my mother-in-law and my 16 month old son to the hotel for Tuesday and check out on Saturday. In this conversation the gentleman on the phone explained there would be a room charge of $263 to have the two-room suite. I told the person on the phone that I didn't know what I was spending on the current room that I had, so I needed him to tell me what the TOTAL I would be paying for the room for the stay. He said it would be $263. I repeated myself 3 times by making sure he knew that I was looking for the TOTAL price. Not an upgraded price. "What is the TOTAL price?" He said $263. The next morning I stopped in at the front desk to change my room keys and confirm the total was $263. Well when we checked out the TOTAL they charged me was close to $600 a night. Now, I could have rented three rooms for that price. This is why I wanted to know the TOTAL price. Knowing the total I could have said, I will just rent another room separate from our room. We complained and ended up speaking to the manager. She was able to give some relief on the price that brought the price down to closer to $500 a night, which is still unacceptable. In my mind the Caravelle staff really let my family down. Keep in mind I just had four families from America come join us for a couple of weeks in which I made them stay at the Caravelle while we were in Saigon, because I like it so much. But after this debacle, I think we have stayed there for the last time. I am extremely worried that I will not be able to control my costs because of bad information from the staff.

I booked two rooms. After the room cleaning, one room's minibar doesn't refill the coffee and tea pack while the other room did refill. I hope there is a minimum standard for staff to housekeep the room.

Everything , all the staff in the club levels were fantastic, the food the chefs made for evening canapes and breakfast were beautiful. Drinks options were amazing.

Pool deck is great but lacks atmosphere and is a little dated

The staff was wonderful, everybody spoke English quite well. They were always helping me with my questions, and getting a cab for me. Truelly wonderful and luxurious feeling. The room was spacious, soundproof and overall beautiful. The breakfast consisted of a variety of items, even a baquette with cheese! Ps: the air-conditioning works amazing!

Won't share my experience as it would take a lot of time writing.. one word. NO - no . Highly rude staff , smallest rooms ever possible. Pls don't go by what is written .. very small beds and rooms . Un necessary service charges would shoot up your bill. Now I get to know why a renowned group of hotels , chains. Are so better , as they treat you amazingly well
