The location was perfect, just a 5 minute walk to harbour and all the bars, restaurants and main shopping centre.
We booked a balcony room and we are so glad we did, the room was spotlessly clean and very spacious and the queen size bed was so comfortable.
We will definitely stay again when we are next in Torquay

stairs to the room. very small room, low ceilings. not worth what we paid.
staff lacked any sort of customer service. no interaction at all. small chit chat etc….
no information about parking, or lack of until we arrived & were told we had to park around the corner, behind the hotel, free, but up a steep hill.

The breakfast was very good and the owners were very accommodating and pleasant. Great location and well equipped room. Everything close to hand.

Great place to stay in Torquay. Close to the sea/harbour and the room we stayed had a sea view. The hotel is next to a bus stop which is very convenient. Good breakfast too. The hosts were extremely warm and welcoming. They maintain the place very well. Overall a pleasant stay at Hotel Hudson.

The wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table are looking a little tired as trying to close them can be difficult.

The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was excellent.. Breakfast was good. Most importantly the owners were very friendly and made my stay an enjoyable one.

the fact of the notice about if you stained them and bedding you will be charged I just dyed my hair a day before and unfortunately the dye does come out if you wash your hair so didn’t wash my hair didn’t use shower as would had the use a towel fur my hair but if you sweat during the night not good so I put a shirt over the pillow case but unfortunately did leave a couple of spots but it dyed it does wash out just felt on edge about the dye but other than that lovely stay
