Breathtaking overview on the lagoon. Large apartment.

Old. Dirty. Huge numbers of mosquitoes bothering your sleep even in the middle of winter.

We didn't spend a single night there. The property is so remote that we were afraid to drive back in the dark after dinner in town least we go off the narrow dike road and end up in the water on either side. It is 8 minutes drive on an unpaved, unlighted, dirt road with many pop holes. We took one look and left without checking in. No one was there, no staff, no guests, totally deserted at 4:00 in the afternoon, check in time.

Lagoon and the bridhe

The setting and location were perfect. The privacy and peacefulness of the property was fantastic. The staff were superb and ensured the guest had all that was required. The accommodation is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and well maintained.

I loved the subtle care and attention from the host, Sarah, nothing was too much trouble for her and she valued our privacy. It's a very quirky place/not modern, and all the better for it. The view is stunning!! Just a short drive to the town, when you want the beach or shopping.. Comfy beds, super clean rooms and peaceful in October. We're definitely booking again

the Wi-Fi was patchy and very unreliable, plus no data connection but you’re in the middle of nowhere so it would be a miracle if it worked perfectly I guess.

High quality accommodation in a beautiful peaceful setting. The description and photos did not do it justice - far better than expected.We loved it ! Sarah, our English speaking host was very friendly and helpful going above and beyond to make our stay as successful and enjoyable as possible.

The unmade road track to the property and narrow causeway were a little difficult to negotiate in our hired vehicle but the location made the effort well worthwhile.

It was very quiet and relaxing, Wi-fi in the unit was a bonus wasn't expecting wi-fi.

Nothing, all good

The place is beautiful, great for a group of friends, families with children or even for a couple. Excellent place to rest and enjoy, fully equipped houses.

The access to Moinho da asneira is a road with bad conditions and has no tar. Maybe they could fix it, even using sand.

Self catering. We love the location. It’s quiet and peaceful, great river view, but you need a car to access the village, shops, restaurants, beaches etc

The house we had is comfy but dated - not at all smart, but it works well.

Small collection of great properties in a beautiful situation with fabulous views. Friendly, generous and helpful owner and staff. We’ll established gardens. Out of season prices made this superb place accessible.

It is one of the most beautiful stays I've been to. The Dutch staff lady is so kind and helpful! The place is so relaxed, clean, idyllic! Couldn't be any better!! I am definitely returning here at some point in my life :)
