Alessandro gave us such a lovely warm welcome and showed us around the property on arrival. He was also the chef and gave us the most delicious 4 course dinner with very good local wines. This was a memorable and wonderful start to our holiday in Puglia.

One of the entrance roads is bumpy with potholes. There is however a well maintained alternative: please tell your guests beforehand.

Beautiful building in a rural area.

When we arrived, the owner seemed unaware of our booking / surprised by our arrival. There was no formal check-in, but we received a beautiful room. The property is large and very beautiful, with a great view on the Castel del Monte. The property clearly caters towards big parties & weddings. Dinner is served in the big reception hall (which is clearly meant for weddings) and it’s delicious - you will go to sleep with a full belly. All in all we found this Masseria to be beautifully renovated, offering a very good price-quality and we’d happily come again.

What we found a bit unpleasant, is that every time we came back from an excursion, the personnel who had to open the gate for us, was completely unaware of the fact we were guests, and we always had to explain who we were and what we were doing there.

Very nice rooms with old/contemporary design. Excellent staff, very attentive and helpful. Excellent and reasonably-priced onsite dinner, and plentiful breakfast. The place specializes in events, so depending on your date of stay, there may be something going on. This shouldn't be a problem as the rooms are shielded from the main event area; on the other hand, if appropriate, you might be invited to join in the fun!

The place is a bit distant from anywhere else, and there isn't too much to do directly onsite, so you must budget some driving every day to get to the nearby attractions (the beaches, Trani, Bari, Castel del Monte, Bitonto, etc. etc.) On the other hand, the location has its own beauty, which some will like in itself.

In the countryside, very modern design within a traditional setting, a unique experience. Nice food being cooked for dinner (set menu) for all guest participating. Very enjoyable overall experience in a relaxed countryside setting.
