Nice atmosphere, well equipped kitchen, great location. Wish I could have stayed longer!

location is really good

the hostel was quite dirty, there was a mop with a bucket full of dirty and smelly water outside the room. bathrooms were not really clean as well as the room. the tables in the breakfast room were all full of crumbs and not cleaned ( before none had breakfast) in the morning we had to wait more then 1h and half to wait that someone was preparing the things for the breakfast, because the girls didn’t wake up on time.

Location was perfect. Hostel super clean with great beds and lockers. Super friendly staff and loads of free hire stuff like surf boards and wetsuits. I have stayed in hostels all over the world for years and in my top 5. No creepy men either just regular travellers of all ages. Will definitely return. Amazing!

Great location and beautiful roof terrace, although small was a nice place to meet people and socialise. Met lovely people here and would recommend!

I suppose air conditioning would be nice. but don't let that put you off. Was a nice place!

Amazing experience

perfect place to stay for solo travellers, very social but not necessarily a crazy party hostel which was the perfect mix for me. the staff were excellent and have created such a great vibe in the hostel. everyone was super friendly and felt like a big family. super bonus is that you can borrow surfboards and pretty much anything you could think of for FREE!! will definitely be back 🧡

When you walk into Casa Grande Surf, you immediately feel like you have come home. Gloria and Julia and the volunteers are extremely warm and welcoming. The beach is steps away and they have equipment you can use (surf boards, boogie boards, snorkels, etc.). The breakfast was good with muesli, bread, jam, coffee and tea (plus herbal teas and milk alternatives). The lockers are very big. There is an amazing energy in the hostel. El Medano is a local place without large resorts, making you feel that you are living in a town with locals. Highly recommend!

While the hostel is cleaned well daily, it could use a deep clean. However, what it lacks in deep cleaning, it makes up for in the family style atmosphere.

The hostel is so nice, very spacious and welcomed! The location is the best to spend time to El medano. So quiet and the bed was pretty comfy. Nice. Breakfast, basic but nice and lovely the common spaces

Maybe they could give you a towel.

The location was good, and the people were quite nice and friendly. Great place for surfers. They even lend you surf board or bike free out of charge.

The sheets were quite old. But besides that the room was clean. The shared areas like kitchen, bathroom, and dining room could be cleaner. There was not even so many guests at the moment. And especially the dining room was probably not cleaned properly for a while.
