Muy acogedor e íntimo, la comida excepcional y excelente servicio

Rooms were very comfortable and full of beautiful art. The breakfasts and dinner at restaurant were excellent. The staff took care of transports to / from airport and in / out of downtown (45 min) and even arranged a massage in my room! It is truly a remarkable boutique hotel and very reasonably priced.
Depending on traffic, it can be difficult to get into downtown. But I would recommend staying in this quiet location.

It has been my second time at La Colina and it felt like coming home. Extremely nice people, excellent food and a fantastic atmosphere. I will always come back - thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Comfortable bed, quiet place with great breakfast. A good place to enjoy the Colombian hospitality.
You're a little far from everything with Uber are quick and cheap.

Nice hotel, little bit far but in car is accesible and also practical in the middle so let you access to all areas in the city and to get out of the city easily. Staff super friendly and accommodating as we needed to be out until late night due to car location issues and they were always there to allow us access. Parking is really practical. But you may need a car to reach there easily. Breakfast was really good, the best of our stay in Bogota.
At night was little bit cold and heater didn't work, we got a mobile one but it was not great for heating the room but we have several blankets so we didn't suffer of cold , but I would suggest to repair heating.

an incredible hidden gem! beautiful staff, beautiful decor and an outstanding restaurant. absolutely worth the stay
it is not central, you if you want to be walking distance from amenities this is not the place. however, if you want a quiet place with clean air, exceptional views and service, and a short cab ride from the amenities, this is for you.

Attention from the staff
We had to wake up owner and ring a bell when coming in late at night

The best hotel and memory during our honey moon. We are amazed 100%.
1. Such Hospitality experience during our stay, thanks to owners and their people.
2. Great amount of art work used to decocate this exquisite hotel. One can expect four season's standard, but at a different price
3. Lovely food and breakfast included in our package.
Besides, we found it easy to arrange a taxi and get around or book tour with the hotel. Before arriving here, we were in some concern but turns out to be not a problem at all.
Not anything we can think about

Frederico is amazing, so helpful. This is a lovely good old-fashioned guest house. Food was great. Atmosphere cosy. We loved it.
It suited us, so I can't think of anything!
I would love to show our photos, but unfortunately I was mugged and robbed in Santa Marta.......... all gone! But I have my life!

The ambience was exceptional and the food and attention was extraordinary. Very friendly people and the decor was stunning.
I had to endure a cold shower but this didn't detract from the amazing feeling about the place.

Friendly staff and the hotel is very cute. Large rooms with lots of art.
Location really matters in Bogota due to terrible traffic and non-existent public transportation. The hotel is outside the city. I underestimated the impact, so my own fault.
I find it uncommon to be asked to leave a tip on the nightly rate, but I was asked.

Almost nothing
After 2 nights in buzzling Bogotá city we arrived with the best expectations to spend 3 night weekend at a serene tranquil refuge, off the beaten path, amid nature, a bit romantic yet with all modern amenities. Unfortunately none of that applies. In a congested somewhat sordid suburban area this bohemian 5 room cottage is apparently not recovering from the Covid-19 impact. We were disturbed by the dampness smell around the house and the humidity in our room. The cold stone floor is more than uncomfortable and our request for heating was met with ignorance. The in house dinner was another disappointment. No wonder we were the only guests there. Other problems included: lacking water pressure in a shower for one (!) as there is no warm water for two. Spotty WiFi. Aircraft noise pollution, flying directly over the neighborhood. Uber drivers don’t find the location. Check the invoice carefully as they up-charge whenever given the opportunity and refuse to provide a detailed bill/invoice.
In short, we vehemently disagree with fellow visitors. One star for the staff who try their best under the trying circumstances.

Our entire experience was wonderful. The atmosphere was such that we felt we were not in Bogota, but in a place far outside the city. The hotel Is very quiet, with fantastic views of the city. We enjoyed an evening sitting around the fireplace talking with other guests and the staff. There happened to be a wedding reception this evening, which added to the atmosphere with live music, dancing and celebrating. We asked to have a romantic themed room with roses and candles, it was perfect. There are many pieces of unique artwork to admire, each with a history that the owner's father created. The staff was great and very accommodating and attentive to our needs. Frederico, the owner, made himself available to answer any questions and ensure all of our needs were met, he is also the chef and made us wonderful dinners. He told us about local things to do in the area and the history of the hotel and his family. We'd certainly recommend staying here if you're looking for a unique hotel with a boutique flavor.
We'd like to see some foot slippers offered to guest to use while staying in their rooms. Other than that everything else was perfect.

This was my first time ever in Colombia and South America and La Colina Hotel Cottage felt like home the five days I was in Bogota. Frederico and the staff went out of their way to take care of me, greeting me by name every day, asking how my day was and how I liked the food and wine. The hotel is absolutely magical - everywhere you turn there's a wonderful painting, sculpture or stained glass piece interwoven into the tapestry of plants and trees on the property. The hotel is up in the mountains in Suba, in a quiet neighborhood. It was a peaceful environment to get work done, and especially atmospheric when it rained in the afternoons. Frederico is such a lovely host and he'll also help you book local tours of Bogota. One more thing - be sure to try the wines at the restaurant. They are excellent!

La Colina Cottage was off-the-chart outstanding. Staff, cooks, beautiful room (suite), romantic dining, relaxing ambient music, friendly owners. What an a delight! The photos give you an idea of this exceptional place ... but it is much better than anything the pictures can capture. Very personalized meals, intimate, private, super romantic. A definite highlight of our time in Bogata. A very, very special place -- like staying in a beautiful relaxed artsy home of a friend with a private chef and romantic dinners served in front of a beautiful crackling fireplace. This place is a gem.
All good... if you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle & bustle to spent quiet quality time with a loved one.

Location is Great as it is in the city but still in the middle of nature. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. One of the best places to stay in bogota for sure.

A very charming hotel with nice and helpful staff.
Rather far away from the airport and from the city center. But great for tourists that have time.

Cute little boutique hotel in Bogota. Comfortable bed, clean and hot shower.
The breakfast is great and they also have meals for dinner if you don’t want to venture out which are a great price and delicious.
I didn’t like the location. If we didn’t have a car I’m not sure what we would have done.

It was a little far from restaurants

Very artsy, special atmosphere, great food, very nice staff
Be ready to take an anti Covid shower on the entrance (no, not a protocol spray but almost a shower including your face). I’m intolerant to chemicals and using only organic on a daily basis that doesn’t have any scent. So for a moment you might feel like you are in concentrate camp not guest of a pretty expensive hotel. I’ve been traveling a lot during and after pandemic and always follow all protocols of any countries but never seen something that extreme. If you’re allergic consider that.
Hotel is far away from the center.
