Breakfast was fantastic and exellant ser ice from staff.
Room was a little smaller then I'd like as stayed here before and had a bigger room.

We occupied a large room on the first floor, the one with a huge window and I promise that the view is breathtaking and the proximity of the road does not bother us very much

Very good sized room; clean bedding and carpet; comfortable bed; great selection of channels on TV; tea & coffee making facilities; hairdryer; loads of hot water; excellent selection at breakfast; great bar; lovely staff; parking right outside; perfect location near pubs and restaurants.
Cobwebs with spiders hanging from them on the ceiling and old hairs in the bath plughole. I don't mind spiders except when they're hanging above my bed but some might see this as a big no, no.

Amazing breakfast, especially the fresh fruit. Stunning views (stayed in room 9). Owners & staff friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here. We have stayed here before and will definitely stay again.

this was our second stay in the last 6months, perfectly situated in the heart of the peaks. Matt and his team are great, rooms were clean and comfortably and breakfast was superb.

The breakfast was amazing!!! The black pudding was the best i have ever eaten! That good i found out where they got it from and went and bought a load for home!

Friendly helpful staff, quality accommodation, great location, good food, good bar atmosphere.
Not really a dislike, but the olde worlde building, having creeky floorboards, means it can get a bit noisy above in rooms overhead, but you get used to it.

The breakfast was outstanding and the support at breakfast for a required earlier departure on the day we had to leave greatly appreciated with very helpful staff
