Lovely staff, great location

I didn’t realise that the restaurant would be closed during my stay as it was folk week.

A beautiful traditional property, well decorated and comfortable. the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The assistance facilities were perfect.

It was difficult to manage the shower in the wet room without wetting the bathroom floor which could be a potential hazard.

This friendly comfortable Hotel is in easy reach of the town and sea front. Beautiful gardens. Good breakfast.

The Hotel was excellent as were the Staff. The food was very good and we look forward to going again

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location

It was a bit old fashioned like something out of the thirties

It was a wonderful, beautiful maintained Hotel. Very accommodating with a dog. The rooms are of a lovely spacious size and the bathrooms are sparkling. The breakfast was of a very good variety. Super stay, thank you! The Family Owners can be proud.

Very warm welcome. Fabulous gardens with comfortable outdoor furniture. Guests all seemed happy to spend much of their time at the hotel. Food very good, excellent service. Lovely elegant dining room and luxurious lounges. Parking spaces always available.

A little more storage in bedroom.

Hotel was in a fantastic setting, very clean and well presented. The staff were pleasant informative, and very happy to do anything for us. The breakfast was 1st class with plenty of choice. Very relaxing few days, definitely worth another visit.

Lovely location with beautiful gardens, we were able to sit outside on comfortable furniture, also access to large park, which was a bonus having our dog with us. Walking distance for the beach and town. Lovely friendly staff! Breakfast delicious plenty of choice. plenty of parking

It was third visit. I love it’s location by the river. Lovely walks early morning.

I’ve always had a room upstairs before. I was on ground floor facing a car par with two cars parked right up to my window. No view of trees or garden. Plus I’m a woman on my own so for security reasons I didn’t feel able to open the window at night even though it was sweltering. I would suggest to the management that they always put single women upstairs or alternatively put a security lock on the window. Room 33.

Really lovely staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful location, superb restaurant and comfortable room.

Booked in for room and breakfast. First time travelling alone and was made to feel very welcome and secure when checking in and room was beautiful.

Felt a little lost at breakfast time as no staff available to advise re breakfast routine but another very helpful resident assisted! And that said when a waitress did approach me a little later she was extremely helpful.

Couldn't get the bathroom radiator to work - but only there1 night, so not a great nuisance.

The breakfast was excellent, hot, minimal waiting with cereal, pastries as well as cooked option. Lovely room with dual aspect windows, spacious room , comfortable bed. Both slept well.

Unable to book for dinner with dog unless we were prepared to leave her alone in a strange room or alone in a cold car in pouring rain. No! We therefore had to turn out in pouring rain and gale force winds to find somewhere that could provide dinner with a dog. We found somewhere but would’ve been helpful if reception had provided some restaurant names.
