Pradeep hat unseren Aufenthalt zu einem absoluten Erlebnis gemacht. Er kümmerte sich um alle Abenteuer, die wir erleben wollten und hatte immer eine interessante Geschichte auf Lager. Seine Mutter bekochte uns wie ihre eigenen Kinder und man hat sich einfach Zuhause gefühlt. Man sollte sich aber darüber im Klaren sein, dass sich die Unterkunft nicht zentral, sondern in der wunderschönen Natur befindet. Selbst nach unserem Aufenthalt stand uns Pradeep mit Rat und Tat zur Seite und war für alle Fragen offen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had the most incredible stay at Pradeep’s family farm. Although Pradeep wasn’t actually there when we were visiting, his brother was so helpful in showing us around the farm and arranging tuk tuks for various activities we wanted to do. We also could contact Pradeep directly if we had any questions about Dambulla, or our stay in Sri Lanka more generally. The farm was honestly breathtaking, and so were the views from our room. There has been several renovations since we booked, and we were pleasantly surprised at how modern our room was, although we did not expect it! The food cooked by Pradeep’s mum is some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka, and the dining room and roof top terrace made it all more special. We will be back for sure! Pradeep’s will be a highlight of your trip and you will miss it as soon as you leave.

Wir hatten eine tolle Führung durch die Farm zusammen mit den anderen Gästen. Wir können die Unterkunft nur Wärmsteins empfehlen. Wir haben sehr viel über das Leben im Dorf erfahren und tolle Geschichten von Pradeep erzählt bekommen. Das Frühstück und Abendessen wurde liebevoll von seiner Mama zubereitet und war sehr lecker!

We stayed a family of five in Blue mountains view. The overall experience is breathtaking. Location is beautiful, close enough to all main attraction in the region and also gives you a great look on the village life in Sri lanka. Breakfast is very tasty and dinner is very diversified and so so tasty 😋. Pradeep is a unique person that does whatever he can to give you an exceptional experience and stays in your hart way after you continue your journey. This was a perfect experience for me and my family 🙏❤️.

The homestay is a perfect look into local village life. It’s in the middle of beautiful rice fields and farmland. The real gem of this location is Pradeep and it’s family. They are the most open people you’ll meet. We had fantastic food, watched the sunset in the ricefields, went swimming in the river, showered each morning in the river, played games in the evening and met wonderful people. If you want to visit Lion Rock or the Dambulla cave temple they can arrange a tuktuk, as well as pickups from your previous or next stay. We took the bus to Kandy from the road near the homestay which was incredibly easy to do so. All in all: our best stay and 10/10 recommended!

Nothing. There is air conditioning in one of the new rooms, so if you like it to be a little cooler at night I would recommend booking that room.

We had a great stay at this lovely homestay at the countryside 25 min away from Dabulla. Pradeep (the host) is very friendly and helpful in organizing trips. He shows the guest around the farm and you can swim in the river if you want. We met a lot of nice other people there, in general it’s a very relaxed vibe. The rooms are modern and comfy and for breakfast and lunch there is traditional delicious Sri Lankan Food cooked by the mother of Pradeep. We can totally recommend it, if you look for something more authentic!

The shower wasn’t warm but that’s only a minor detail ;) otherwise everything was fine!

We loved our homestay with Pradeep and his family. Beautifull surroundings, lovely organic food from his own garden, but most of all the nicest host of Sri Lanka! Traveling with our two kids Pradeep had lots of games, swimming in the river, gem searching (which is quite the experience) and we even visited his school. Highly recommended to have a unique experience of Sri Lankan life!

Best host so far during our trip! Pradeep gives you a real insight into Sri Lankan life in the countryside and has lots of stories to tell :) His mom cooks amazing, all with ingredients from their own garden. If you have the change, ask Pradeep to take you to the river, an experience for sure! Due to a tight travel schedule we only managed to stay for one night, else would have stayed longer.

The host Pradeep is one of the most humble guys we have ever met! He had such great stories about Sri Lanka and his banana plantation. He wants to tell and help you with everything. We really felt like home because of his hospitality! His mom cooked the greatest dishes in the evening! You can’t leave Sri Lanka without visiting Blue Mountains View! Pradeep has became a true friend to us.

Because the weather temperatures were very high, even for Sri Lanka, the room was was very warm. Luckily there was a van in the room that really helped. Other than that there is nothing bad to say about our stay, it was really lovely and we can’t recommend it enough!

This was our absolute favourite stay at Sri Lanka! During our trip we have met so many kind people but in this place we felt the warmth of Sri Lanka more than anywhere else. Pradeep, his mother and friend Gayan made us feel so welcome, almost like home. That's why we extended our stay with another night! The guesthouse is located beautifully between the rice fields and mountains. Our room was very clean and provided with everything we needed: warm water, fan, mosquito nets, etc. Each morning we had breakfast at the lovely terrace overlooking the banana trees. The meals were very generous and healthy with the organically grown fruits and vegetables from their own garden. And you could taste that! So so delicious! Pradeep was so helpful to arrange us a reliable taxi driver for a day trip to Dambulla and Sigiriya, and to bring us to our next accomodation. There is also a lot to do in the village! Pradeep showed us around on the field. He took us for a refreshing splash at the nearby river. And we could join him to the village doctor where we could see traditional medicine, and also get treated ourselves. A unique experience! Pradeep gave us a real authentic experience, which for us was more valuable and memorable than the typical tourist attractions (which are of course also very nice to visit). We got a glimpse of daily life in Sri Lanka and learned a lot from their beautiful culture, and that is the reason we like travelling so much! And last but not least a little word of appreciation for Pradeep who is such an inspiring, pure hearted and positive person! We are grateful to have met him and in this short time I can say he became a friend to us! Thank you Pradeep, for everything! ♥️

Beautiful, quiet place in a small farming village. Perfect to relax a few days and learn about the village and farming life. Pradeep and his mom are great hosts. Super friendly, open hearted and fun. The food cooked by his mom is sooo delicious!

This Homestay is a must go in Sri Lanka. We enjoyed our stay so much especially the food. It was such an authentic experience to join Pradeep and his Mom in the kitchen, how they prepared fresh vegetables and herbs from their garden. Breakfast and dinner were amazing and vegan which I was super happy about. The place itself is a peaceful spot between rice fields and palm trees, super quite aside of singing birds. Thanks for everything it was fantastic

We are really grateful for the time we had at blue mountains view and especially with the host Pradeep and his family. When you want to get to know the Sri Lankan Life you have to stay there.The family is friendly, warm hearted and welcoming. The food was awesome, organic earned from their own farm and prepared by the mother. Pradeep helped us out with everything, like arranging a safari or transport to our next stop. It was so nice that he showed us around his farm and the village ❤️we would highly recommend and thank you for everything Pradeep 🙏🏼

This is a very special place located on a farm outside of dambulla. The owner - Pradeep - is a very kind-hearted, enthusiastic and ambitious young man who created this homestay entirely from scratch. In fact, blue mountains view is the only homestay in the area. He's willing to dedicate a lot of his time to showing you his farm, explaining all of the plants and herbs, talking you to nearby excursions and - if you're lucky - to see wild elephants. Remember this is a rather remote area where people live very modestly. So don't expect any amenities but simple rooms, home cooked meals and a very unique experience. Frankly, staying at Pradeep's was one of my favourite parts of my Sri Lanka Trip and I enjoyed it much more than the touristy parts like Ella

It was perfect. Prandeep showed us around his plantage and told something about every plant. We could harvest ingredients for dinner and help and watch his mother cooking. We ate together which was much fun. He even took us to the Full Moon Ceremony in his local temple. He gave us coconut and many other fruits directly from the tree. You could also stay much longer, there are many things around to visit like Dambulla Cave Tempel, Sigiriya, or you can also do a safari. Pradeep will help you with everything and cares a lot about his guests. Very sad we had to leave!

Totally can recommend this place. It was the best place we've stayed in Sri Lanka in the last months. The host Pradeep was very welcoming. He showed us what the real Sri Lankan life is about. Some activities he offered us and helped us organize: tour around his village and his organic farm Collecting fresh fruits like passionfruit, pomegranate and king coconuts from his land Organizing a safari and a trip to sigiriya Organizing the temple cave visit in dambulla Cooking class with his mum who is the loveliest women around Organizing tuktuks We fell in love with this place so much we stayed 4 nights instead of two. It's the best place to stay if u prefer staying in a more village like surrounding but you are still close enough to do the typical touristic experiences like visiting sigiriya, dambulla and go on a safari. His mum cooks the best rice and curry with organic ingredients growing in the village. so don't skip on the food. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We gonna miss u pradeep

My Bf and I stayed there for two nights and we would loved to stay longer. we had such an incredible time at Blue Mountains View! Pradeep, the host, was the best! He showed us his garden and thought us about the plants there. If we had any wish, he just took care of us! The place in between the nature and all the palms was just amazing!

Our stay with Pradeep was magical. It was only our second day in Sri Lanka and it was the perfect introduction to this amazing country. His property is located in a village of farmland about a 30 minute drive from Sigariya. He arranged a motorbike for us to hire during our stay to make the drive out to the famous rock (and explore the area). His mum cooked us a delicious dinner and we ate with Pradeep while he told us funny stories and information about Sri Lanka. The breakfast was also great, a sample of Sri Lankan breakfast foods, basically a feast. We loved it. Pradeep also gave us a tour of his family’s farm - showing us all the local produce. It is such a beautiful property! The accomodation itself is simple and comfortable, with a big leafy balcony looking out over the mountains and the banana farm. This is not just accomodation it is the perfect introductory experience to Sri Lankan culture. We will 100% come back to stay next time we are in Sri Lanka, it felt like home.

Just be aware the location is not in the tourist centre! This is not a problem and was actually desirable and special.

The family room was very new, clean and very comfortable. Pradeep and his family are amazing and will do anything for you. it was the final of the world cup and Pradeep organized for us to watch the final with the Buddhist monks at their temple. I wish we could have stayed for more than 2 nights. qe only had the breakfast but everything was super fresh picked off the surronding trees or homemade. another guest told me the dinner was the best she had esten in Sri Lanka. Thank you Pradeep❤️

You are staying in an amazing valley. Surrounded by impressive mountains and rocks. You can enjoy your breakfast or dinner “on top” of the banana fields. The room was comfortable. The host Pradeep is an outstanding personality. He is such a warm and welcoming human. He is always looking for your best. We were lucky, because Pradeep showed us the school, where he is working as a teacher. He’s a very social guy with an honest heart. For us Pradeep is a new friend in the wonderful country - Sri Lanka. All the best Thomas & Glena

Pradeep is a very entertaining host, everyone staying here should definitely go and see the garden with him. Pradeep also took us a very nice spot at the river where we just chilled and enjoyed the nature and wildlife. Make sure you eat dinner here - Pradeep‘s mom makes an awesome rice & curry! Even if you don‘t want to explore: nature will visit you while you sit on the balcony, admiring the view of the palm trees and the mountains.

Great place to dive deep into Sri Lanka! The best way to get familiar with people and life on Sri Lanka. Pradeep is an amazing host, very friendly, has answers to any questions and very interesting to talk to.

the location is stunning! Pradeep really goes above and beyond to make all his guests feel at home. we visited with 2 young children who were entertained by him and his lovely mother. the food his mother cooks is easily one of the best, if not the best curry you will tast.
