Comfortable seating area, breakfast terrace a great sun trap, great location for the harbour

No allocated parking, upstairs very hot at night, fans needed, seagulls very noisy. Second key would be useful

The cottage is very well-equipped (we cooked quite a bit) with comfy beds. Living area feels spacious. Back yard with washing line. Great decor. Really near the harbour and a local shop. We loved being able to walk up Cliff Road into Roundham Gardens from where you can follow the path to the big beach at Goodrington Sands - takes about 20 mins and is nicer than the town beach. Shower screen came apart but the management company fixed it the same day! You can get ferries to Torquay and Brixham.

Slightly doggy smell and a *few* pet hairs as you would expect from a dog-friendly cottage (especially following a wet spell, as we'd just had). But the cleaners had done a really good job. Very very loud seagulls as it's so near the harbour (seagulls don't sleep in Paignton it seems). Paignton itself was a bit scruffy but is a good base to explore Exeter, Torquay, Brixham etc.
