Great value, stylish hotel with laid back vibe and wonderful view of water. Fab location and the restaurant served some of the best food we ate during our 2 week trip to Sixily

We stayed in a room with sea view. We appreciated a lot the style of the room, that was simple but done with good taste, with a nice mix of new and old. Everything felt clean. The breakfast was very good, with qualitative products and in buffet-style. Location was excellent to explore Ortigia. The people at the reception and breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. Everything felt great, really recommended.
It was not a problem for us, but the doors of the rooms are not very soundproof. People for whom silence at any moment is very important could potentially be bothered by noizy people passing by in the hallway as a result.

Great location. The room was a good size and nicely decorated. The breakfast had a good selection and the staff were very helpful and friendly

The daytime staff was especially good. They had excellent recommendations on tourist sites. Breakfast was plentiful and with many choices —yogurt, pastries, bread, eggs, cheese.
The restaurant has an excellent chef! He is very creative and uses Sicilian ingredients in unexpected ways.
I wish the hotel kept some change on hand. They did not have the ability to make change to a 10€ bill, let alone a 20€. Given that the bank machines primarily issue 50€ bills and maybe 20€, I would have expected some minimum change at a hotel of this caliber.

From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. We had dinner in the hotel and we were blown away. The quality of the food and the service was unmatched. All the ingredients were local and out waiter took the time to explain each dish. Beautiful Sicilian wine to go with the meal. Thank you so much.

The design is great, a modern reviseted sicilian style.
Simple and stunning.
The personnelles is very attentive and kind.
Breackfast was good, with typical products but a continental vision.
I found my bed very comfy and I slept very well.
The position of the Hotel is insuperable.
I was travelling alone, therefore the second day of my stay they removed all the towels for the second person, which is reasonable.
The issue is that, they do not give you a big towel for the shower, therefore I had only a medium/little towel for everything (except the bidet, thanks God!).
I was not expecting a bathrobe, but a separate conveniently sized towel is the minimum for this standard of hotel.
I am sure they have amazing rooms from the 1st floor going up (sea view etc.), mine unfortunately was at the ground floor, on the back of the house, smelling of a hint of mould, facing a courtyard with a visible display of junk items.
The handle of the window was so high that to open/close it you have to climb the window sill.
The heating system is a joke, it is the same conditioner cold/heat, which just pumps air which should be warm but becomes cold immediately; it is even worse feeling that ventilation when you feel cold. On top of everything it is so noisy that you give up immediately.
Probably it works better in the summer as air conditioning, however I think that there is no solution for the noise.

A perfect stay for our New Year‘s Eve. We watched the first sunrise of the new year from the terrace right in front of our room. The room, as weel as the reception and the breakfast buffet were great.
No complaints!

We regret staying only one night. Great sea view, beautifully appointed room, staff were efficient and professional, and Christina was ready to answer any and all questions patiently and clearly, and was very informative. The room windows are well sound proofed, and despite being in front of a sometimes busy drive, we didn't hear any noise at night. The breakfast was hands down the best we had during our month long trip throughout southern Italy: variety, flavor, quantity and service were exceptional. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent also.
The room door itself could use a bit of acoustical sealant to reduce noise from the corridor, but it was only noticed once when other guests walked past our door. Really, only a minor point. Apart from that, nothing negative to say; all positive.

fantastic breakfast..scrambled eggs, marinated fruits..

The roof top bar and the interior design features - and most of the staff are wonderful. The room was so quiet and cool - perfect in the hot weather. Large air-conditioned common areas and late check out.
Unfortunately I didn't have the same room as the previous evening - although it was cool, spacious and beautifully decorated - there was a slight sewage smell from the bathroom and the toilet seat was a bit broken.

Everything. Friendly staff, great location and people on reception rather than passcodes.
It was perfect.

The location was good and the staff were helpful and friendly.
The bathroom was poor, the door did not shut properly and the shower was not particularly functional. Not a lot of sound proofing.

Exceptional hotel on the seafront in Siracusa. The hotel is bright, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of home baked and fresh produce. The views from the hotel are also stunning and the location in Ortigia is perfect for exploring the lovely town of Siracusa. My favourite stay in Siciliy and highly recommended!

A great hotel with very friendly staff. It's comfortable and clean, with a great breakfast. Excellent value all round.
No big deal but the shower in the bathroom room was a little basic

The hotel is well located and has an eclectic, interesting & pretty design aesthetic. It was also very clean & there is a rooftop terrace that has a nice view. Room was quiet.
Breakfast was good, but basic, which suits us just fine. Cappucinos made to order were a very nice touch.
Very little was open in Ortigia in late February. No fault of the hotel, of course, but we did not enjoy the town very much.
The room was very small, but that's not unusual in Europe. It was hard to find a place to put two suitcases. We ended up clearing off the small desk to put one on it & the other was on the luggage rack. It was February when we were there so we had jackets & scarves to contend with. Could have used a few hooks behind doors, in the bathroom or anywhere really to be able to hang items.
The bathroom was decorated nicely, but had nowhere to put anything. We turned a decorative basket upside down to make a makeshift table to put our toiletry bags on. Only one of three lights in the bathroom were working while we were there & the hotel was unable to fix them during or stay.

Along the sea with a view, close to everything in Ortigia, great service, delicious breakfast with fresh juice, eggs, yogurt, breads, and cappuccino with oat milk if you prefer it. Rooms are clean, minimally decorated, and furnished. We had a triple room since we were with our 13 year old daughter. We parked for free along the sea side right across from the hotel. Common spaces had beautiful furnishings and art.
maybe add some curtains or glass for the bath. water went everywhere!

Beautifully restored and furnished building and room. Tasty breakfast. classy.
Unfortunately there was no hot water on the day of our visit so we weren’t able to shower in the evening or the next morning. It wasn’t the fault of the hotel staff as the boiler was broken but they were strangely unconcerned and unapologetic, as if it shouldn’t bother us either. We were given a discount, though we had to ask for it. The staff should be more attuned to their customers though.

I like the room interior, mix of metal, wood and colors. Breakfast was delicious (yet we had to wait). Communication with managers - flawless.

The place has a cool modern look - very few places like that in italy, hardly any in that price.
