Well positioned , lovely pool, beautiful house in well maintained garden
Unusual that no staff on duty overnight

The breakfasts were substantive and all our additional dietary requests were accommodated. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and bed linen changed regularly. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and were so hospitable and friendly throughout our stay. We stayed for two weeks at the villa and the facilities and service exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is beautiful and peacefull with just a few guests at a time. The breakfast is amazing, you can select where to have it, at what time and with what ever treats you desire. The pool is a must in the hot weather, and the pool area is very nice. The best thing about this hotel, though, is the amazingly friendly staff who with their hospitality, helpful tips and kind behaviour which made our trip perfect. Thank you so much!
Absolutely no complaints

the location was perfect- about a 15 min walk to old town but far enough away to have a beautiful, peaceful setting.
staff was wonderful- helped with everything.
it sounds very american of us but we bought our own booze to sit by the pool or on our lovely balcony and have cocktails only to find they had no ice. we went to the hotel next door and bought some. i think having some ice would be great since there is no bar there.

A really pleasant stay with a suite that did not get direct sunlight so was cool at all times. The accommodation was roomy and contained everything that we needed. Breakfast was a highlight, served by the hospitable staff. The location was perfect - away from the main part of Chania in a lovely residential area of the city, yet just a short walk to the seaside restaurants if needed. But what made it special were the people who worked at the hotel.
We never got to grips with the TV but in the end, we found we didn't need to watch anything!!

easy Walk into town, great garden, balcony, terrace.

Great location near two good restaurants and one excellent restaurant
Great room with views from balcony. Good breakfast with choice of locations!
Tranquil. shade a-plenty garden with tremendous pool
Delightful 15 min or so stroll along sea front into old Chania but striking new Archaeology museum just round the corner.
A hidden gem in a historic but modernised building.
Maybe some soft cold drinks and beer etc could be made available during day - even via a dispenser somewhere?

We had an amazing view from our room, overlooking the ocean. Anna was there to give us a very warm welcome and recommend the best restaurant for dinner. The ladies who bring you breakfast everyday are such a joy to start your morning off with! The room is comfortable and the hotel is beautiful.
Although the hotel is close to the most amazing meal I have ever enjoyed, it is a short 20 min walk away from Old town Channia. That is the only bad thing I can say.

The property is unique, an old consulate building.
The view from the balcony is stunning.
A do-able walk from Chania old town.
Very spacious rooms on two floors.
Spacious pool area.
Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Liked being able to choose where to have breakfast.
nothing, thought it was great

A beautifully restored home in a delightful neighborhood of Chania. Rooms are very large and well appointed. The view toward Old Town Chania from the communal verandah was beautiful and where we sat each morning for an abundant breakfast.
We found that thebi-level suites (on the 2nd floor) were not as comfortable because you had to climb stairs from living room to reach the bedroom/bathroom on the second level. We moved to the one-floor suites on the main floor and were very happy.

The staff was great, very helpful and attentive.
Breakfast was as basic as it gets.

Renovation of lovely building. Breakfast on balcony overlooking the bay. Comfort. Proximity to 2 superb restaurants. Pool and garden.
4.5
-The hosts were incredibly welcoming, attentive and helpful.
-The pool was deep, large and clean. The springboard was a cool feature and overall, this pool is two categories above what you would normally expect with this kind of accommodation.
-The garden area had plenty of shaded and comfortable seating and was very nice to relax in.
-There was a large communal balcony with stunning views of Chania’s center and sunsets.
-Breakfast was served where we wanted it (garden, pool, balcony, room), tasty and with a very personalised service.
-Unlike other reviewers have stated, the road in front of the property was not noisy or annoying at all (and I am extremely sensitive to noise). I could not hear it in the room or the pool/garden area.
-Walking to Chania’s center was easy and after about 10 minutes you already reach a lovely pedestrianised area with sea front bars and restaurants. There a also a few really good restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the villa.
-On-site parking was very convenient and safe.
-Our bathroom was somewhat basic but clean and good quality local amenity products were provided and replenished.
-The pool area had a shower but no bathroom (as far as we could see) and there was a kitchenette/bar in the garden which seemed out of use (but then for only a limited no. of apartments in this villa, it would be tricky to provide something here).
-Our top floor / split level suite required the climbing of a few (narrow-ish) steps, just something to keep in mind if you are a traveller with reduced mobility

The location, service and room.were all top notch. Being served breakfast on a patio overlooking the sea at a time you choose was so luxurious . Everyone there was so friendly and helpful, providing dinner recommendations and making reservations for us. We would definitely stay there again. Can't say enough good things about Villa Andromeda.

The staff gave us a very special stay -thank you
Shower rather than over bath with small shower head that wasn't always easily positionable

Excellent pool. Really enjoyed breakfast and sunsets on the balcony. Only 8 rooms made the service very personable. Beautiful neoclassical architecture. Nice furnishings. And last, but certainly not least, all the staff we dealt with were amazing!
