Badkamer is mooi en ruim. Nadeel is dat na het douchen de hele vloer nat wordt.

Ubicación , pileta , habitaciones , restaurante …. Atención , como te solucionan todo es increíble la atención de las chicas ! Y los chicos de seguridad son re amable para buscarte lugar , así dejas el auto enfrente del hotel así te queda más cómodo .

Great ocean side location, close to many restaurants and easy walk to town centre. Free street parking.

Heerlijk rustig midden in Willemstad. Lekker dicht bij leuke restaurants en barretjes. Met een huurauto kan je de leukste strandjes opzoeken en s’ avonds geniet je van de gezelligheid van de stad. Mooi zwembad en een heerlijke grote badkamer. Ook een leuk restaurant.

The Scuba Lodge and Suites is in a set of historic beautiful buildings on the oceanfront. The architecture is truly stunning. I absolutely love the colors of the buildings. The infinity pool is lovely. The beds are comfortable. We didn’t actually eat at the bar/restaurant, but it was certainly hopping! The bar is gorgeous. The staff working the desk and was very nice and helpful. In particular, Dalies was a delight and responded to us after hours when we had a last minute housekeeping issue. She is a rockstar.

My main issue with Scuba Lodge is that there is no beach. On booking.com, it’s listed in the “private beach” category and its description still says it has “a private strip of artificial beach.” Instead, where the beach used to be is a rocky jetty that forms an unfinished cove. One employee called it a “work in progress.” We were very disappointed. The entire reason we had booked this property was for the beach. Also, one of the hotel’s buildings is under construction, so if you’re outside during the day, there’s a lot of noise. After our first night, we explained this to front desk. We wanted to check out (after the 1st night of 5) and get refunded the nights were weren’t going to use. I realize that’s not ideal, but given the lack of a major amenity like a beach, I didn’t expect too much pushback. Instead, we ended up going back and forth with the management and booking.com for 4 hours. The Scuba Lodge’s response was first to deny that the hotel’s description on booking.com said this, until I showed screenshots. Then the response was that all the other websites didn’t mention a beach, which I sympathize with, but unfortunately booking.com still does. They tried to deny any refund. Thankfully, booking.com came through for us, and we were refunded for the nights we didn’t use. We stayed at the Lionsdive and loved it. I had expected the description on booking.com to be changed quickly to remove any mention of a beach, but over a week later, I see it hasn’t. I don’t want others to have the same problem. Also, we booked the “Superior Deluxe Room with Ocean View.” The listing on booking.com has photos from 2 different rooms. One has the covered porch with an unobstructed ocean view. The other, where we stayed is the Bona Vista Suite, which has a partial ocean view with an unshaded porch. It’s a 3rd floor with slanted ceilings that make it feel much smaller than it is. One seems much nicer than the other.
