-The design of this place is absolutely stunning. Every detail is thought of. Someone has amazing taste!!! It’s truly on the top of the list of spots to visit in bali.
-The location is about 20/30 minutes out of the centre of Ubud, so you’ll need to get a grab or the free shuttle the hotel provides. ( except you have to arrange an hour before )
-The pool and landscaping is STUNNING, the amenities always clean. It was a visual pleasure to look at.
SO many reasons to stay here. Ideal for someone wanting to just relax by the pool and enjoy a quiet space.
The smoke that came in the room from the fields surrounding, which is just part of being in Bali so nothing to do with the hotel as such. The breakfast was average. It’s a set menu - with pretty much rice or eggs. So you have to pick one. No options for children or adaptions. Considering the space - it’s the only negative about this place that’s not necessarily a negative, just not my preference.
The restaurant is superbly designed and looks lovely but overpriced. Not any restaurants close by, so we ordered food in from a cafe/restaurant in Ubud. Overall - it’s beautiful and I recommend staying here!!!!

We loved the pool, such a great set up for families. We had connecting rooms and it gave us lots of space as a family of 5. The food from the restaurant was delicious.

I thought the location was perfect for what we were looking for. The yoga that was offered was really good, and I liked the fact that the pool did not close.
Breakfast was pretty average. They provided me salad and a dressing in a wooden bowl which looks really nice but the bottom bowl had a crack through it and it leaked all over me. The staff did nothing to correct my now, very oily clothing.
Lunch on one day and the food was okay, but nothing sensational.
I liked the location of the hotel, but some people might find it too far away from anything. I would suggest this is not a hotel for children. They will be bored.

The property design was good, breakfast and hosts at restaurant were good too, the room was clean.
Location of place is far and you take up to 20 minutes to get to ubud center, but they provide a shuttle.
The receptionists were nice and friendly but every time i ask them any questions regarding my stay or the facilitys in the resort. They always stall me and they actually dont know the answer. They should be more trained.
Also they weren’t flexible at all regarding changing my booking dates and checking out earlier.

location is not good. it is far from anywhere. very few facilities for kids and not suitable for family with kids.

People were great and the food offered in the restaurant was fantastic. Beds were comfortable and the view from the room was beautiful. It’s not in Ubud centre, but we used their shuttle service so location wasn’t a really problem.

Garcia Hotel is great! Comfortable, nice bedroom, beautiful view, great breakfast, great pool and nice staff! Recommend it!
Is not close to Ubud center. But they have a van with no extra cost that takes you to the city center and back in specific times of the day.
We had bad luck with our room. The room was great and comfortable but there was a family of cats living in the ceiling. We told the staff about it many times and it wasn't solved. I actually think there wasn't an easy way to take the cats out. But still it was very frustrating to wake up in the middle of the night with the kittens crying.
Maybe ask for a room that is not on that last floor and you won't have any problems.

the staff is very nice and attentive. the food in the restaurant was very delicious. the masseuse at the spa was very professional. I enjoyed every moment in this hotel. If I go back to Bali, I stay at Hotel Garcia.

The staff is really welcoming, always smiling and providing good insights on what to do in the area. One day we needed to leave the hotel very early to catch a ferry, the staff offered right away to have our breakfast packed to take it with us. The hotel itself is beautiful, the restaurant overlooks a big garden with trees which makes for a wonderful scenery while eating. We also tried their spa services, wonderful relaxing moment. More than recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a quiet part of Ubud in a beautiful setting.

The property had a nice layout and was very accessible to everything on the resort. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were furnished to perfection. We had a pool right outside our bedroom which was lovely for morning and evening swims. The best part of our experience to be honest were the staff! The staff were all so friendly and always had smiles and being helpful wherever they could. I couldn’t recommend this stay more.
The gym could be a bit more maintained but still wasn’t bad!

Quiet and very relaxing, staff were exceptional, Adi at reception was an absolute treasure always had a smile and made sure we had everthing needed for our stay, We had our wedding anniversary and my husband wanted flowers for me they ordered the most amazing bouquet of flowers nothing was ever too much to ask

This is a great property, nice modern rooms with balconies.
The breakfast was wonderful! Great food, and good location.
The staff took great care of us, even calling us in the morning to make sure that we made it to breakfast in time!
The only thing that was not amazing was that the pool is quite small, with only a few spaces available to sit near it. The gym is also extremely basic. Only a few pieces of equipment.

The hotel location was very bad as just beside the hotel there is a pond which u can see once u get out of ur room which attracted alot of lizards and insects

We love the breakfast and the opportunity to eat in the room for no extra charge. The pool was fabulous and had sun most of the day.
Breakfast was really good and all the amenities in the room functioned well.
We loved the fact that the hotel is not so close to Ubud giving us the opportunity to explore other surroundings and have a lovely view of the rice fields.
We also enjoyed the free shuttle to and from Ubud center. If we missed the free shuttle for an extra 100.000 the driver could come get us since taxis aren’t easy to find in Ubud.
The gym was in terrible conditions even though it is a new hotel. Water infiltration on the walls, no towels, no yoga matts, rowing machine not working and a lack of schedule and logistics plan to keep the gym clean after usage.
I would stay again but they definitely need to up their game when it comes to maintenance otherwise in some months this hotel will be in horrible shape and it would be a total shame since they really have everything to be one of the best in Ubud.
