L’appartement est grand comparé à d’autres dans la capitale et aux alentours. L’hôte répond rapidement et s’inquiète de donner satisfaction aux vacanciers.

Impossible de faire le Check in sur la tablette à l’entrée. Immeuble vétuste. Cafards dans le salon et la cuisine, moisissures sur les murs et plafond de la salle de bain, cheveux sur le sol à notre arrivée (j’ai du nettoyer le sol et la baignoire), tâches sur la housse de canapé et une odeur de tabac froid dans les toilettes. Pas de wifi les deux premiers jours, résolu rapidement.

部屋も広々で色々揃っていたのでよかった。

お風呂の細かいところが汚れ目立ってすこしきになった。

The suburb was quiet and clean. Close to the train station, shops and restaurants.

There was mould in the bathroom and blood on the blankets, and the walls were so thin that you could hear everything on the street just outside. The apartment was the first room in the building, which meant we could hear new arrivals at all hours of the night as if they were in our room. We were fortunate it was a quiet neighbourhood. As newcomers to Japan, it would have been nice to get more information about Itabashi. There are lots of restaurants and proper shopping nearby than what was indicated by the property owner.

Although the house is old, the apartment itself is renovated. The host is very attentive and has kindly provided a writing desk. The area is very safe and pleasant - three-story residential area with a supermarket the next door, 10 min walk to a large park and 10 min walk to the station (Mita line - 15 minutes to Ikebukuro, 25 minutes to Otemachi without transfers). Good value for a family long stay.

Some minor issues about initial cleaning, garbage disposal and stained sofa, but compensated by the host's readiness to fix the issues.
