A charming apartment in an old Palazzo in a quiet part of the old town. It was beautifully restored and spotlessly clean with acres of space. Large and comfortable bed. Hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with.

A working washing machine would have been great

Eine traumhafte, aber auch ruhige Lage mitten im Stadtkern. Durch das nahe liegende zentrale Parkhaus (für 2 Tage nur 18€ ) und einem Lift für den ersten grossen Höhenunterschied kommt man problemlos zum Appartment (Fussweg von ca. 10 Minuten) Eine sehr grosse, pompöse Wohnung in einem Palazzo (in der ersten Etage); man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt (aber mit modernen Badezimmereinrichtungen und auch tw. Designermöbeln) Wir haben neben Vorzimmer, Kochnische, Schlafzimmer nur die Bibliothek als Aufenthaltsraum genutzt, den Salon haben wir nur bei der Besichtigung betreten - so gross und komfortabel waren die Räume.

Die Heizung wird erst ab 1.November aktiviert und da die Nächte schon recht kühl waren (erste Oktoberhälfte) fehlt es ein bisschen an Behaglichkeit. Im grösseren Badezimmer war wenigstens ein Heizlüfter zur schnellen Erwärmung vorhanden

The most amazing apartment, truly wonderful. Urbino is such a special little town, the heart of the renaissance, to stay in such a delightful palazzo was a pleasure. Excellent beds, excellent everything apart from the non-functioning washing machine.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience staying at a room within a palazzo. The apartment has all modern facilities and lots of fabulous artwork and artefacts, a music hall as well as a dining room. Unbeatable location two minutes from Palazzo Ducale. There is a garden for guests’ use as well. Cannot think of a better place to stay when visiting this Renaissance city.

Fantastic decor and space - it is huge and just as sensational as the photos suggest. Also the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Urbino. Maria was very helpful, particularly in explaining how to park in the Mercato Carpark and pay to stay 3 days plus getting a 2€ ticket to park outside the apartment for 30 minutes to unload the luggage. Returning to the Carpark and buying a 0.5€ ride up the elevator (go to the info office in Carpark and they’ll sort it out for you!).
