Where to begin!!! Let’s start with our host, Fred. The most thoughtful, gracious, courteous and obliging host I have ever encountered. He set up the apartment for us like we were royalty. Fresh focaccia, cookies, stocked fridge, and chilled champagne/rosé!!! The ambience in the apartment was set up for complete relaxation and enjoyment. The bedroom is awesome with a big, comfy bed, huge TV and even an Xbox- one with all the games a gamer could dream of. His little touches throughout did not go unnoticed. We are so grateful and truly took advantage of it all! The location was prime for cafes, restaurants, shopping, beaches- you name it. Grazie mille for going above and beyond for us Fred and making our stay in this beautiful town one to remember!

Fred was very friendly and extremely accommodating with our check in time and was there to greet us on arrival. He provided us with some valuable advice throughout our stay and made our short four day stay very enjoyable (we pushed ourselves to visit and explore far more than we would have normally thanks to his hints and tips). The refreshments provided in the apartment for us to eat and drink were excellent and very much appreciated. This also helped us focus on enjoying our time rather than finding supermarkets and buying supplies. Portofino is close by and beautiful but very very touristy, we visited by both ferry and bus, however our favourite place was Camogli (a short 10 minute train ride away). We found the trains very cheap and useful. The location of the apartment is perfect for the town, ferry, train station and local bars and restaurants Our restaurant recommendations are Du Coq, Santa Margherita. Pesce Balla (lunch), Sestri Levante and Sa, Camogli - All outstanding. 3 minute walk away Sabot Bar which is great for Cocktails. Thanks again Fred!

The apartment doesn't have any outside space but was spacious enough for our short stay and we used the excellent hot tub twice. The apartment was a little dark.

Fred is one of the best hosts I've ever metю Extremely dedicated person that made the stay perfectly comfortable: 1. Perfect communication with guests; amazing hospitality: e.g. from the start I had a large number of welcoming local Genoese dishes to taste; a bottle of Rose wine etc. 2. Full support during the stay including best recommendations regarding sightseeing, where to dine, to swim etc. etc. 3. Amenities at the apartment are beyond expectations; 4. The last but not least, wishing Fred all the best in developing his business or as he calls it, Historia Vitiello ! If I happen to come to Santa Margherita Ligure one day, I’m sure to stay at Fred’s 😊

Everything went perfectly! Especially our host Fred was supreme! Fred helped our trip to go even better than expected! The location was great and the apartment was amazing! The best host experience we’ve had, 10/10, I can 100% recommend this to everyone.
