The camp was really nice and in a beautiful location. We were served a delicious bedouin dinner and they showed us the traditional way how they prepared it. The tents are clean and they gave us extra blankets as it got really cold during the night.

A wonderful place in the the middle of Wadi Rum desert. I couldn't have a better authentic experience of Bedouin life than here. The welcome was great with some cups of tea, traditional meal cooked under the sand, and nice oud melody while watching a sky full of stars.

Anazing location!
Recommended for anyone who wants to have a Jordanian experience. The food was above our expectations. All the stuff was very friendly and kind.
But what impressed us most was our guide, Atayek Hamad. He showed us the most beautiful places (especially the place from where we admired the sunset).

Atayek is the ultimate guide, he knows any rock in the desert and he match the trip to you. We could not hope for a better guide, don't miss this experiance. Highly reccomended!

We spent a week with Atayek and his family and I would definitely recommend this place, especially for climbers. Atayek helped us with everything we needed (information about climbing routes, transport...). The food was homemade and the place was clean.

Everything was awesome! The family and the service were extraordinary. Fantastic place for climbers! Also if you want to live a real experience in the desert with a , Bedouin family, this is the place! Best food in Jordan, Bedouin tea, hummus, fresh vegetables and traditional dishes that you won't be able to stop eating!

my guide Atayek from Family Bedouin Camp was fantastic. He knows all hidden places and great viewpoints in Wadi Rum. He also showed my some trails through canyons where I could hike on my own. He then picked me up again at the end of the trail. The camp was really nice and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Everybody of the staff was very helpful and friendly. I can highly recommend Family Bedouin Camp and Atayek as a guide.

I was in this camp 4 years ago and I've had no doubt about booking again with Atayek this year. Everything was exactly as I remembered: from the beautiful and comfortable camp to the tasty food, from the great tour to the amazing atmosphere, everything was perfect. It's not my first time in this camp. This time I've found it even better with 2 different blocks of toilets for men and women and showers with hot water! But the reason why I always choose the family camp is Atayek as he is the most trustworthy, caring and professional Bedouin host I've ever met in all my trips to Jordan. If you travel to this beautiful Country in order to experience the Bedouin culture, it's here that you can find it: Atayek embodies all the marvellous values of his culture as well as he has a long experience in tourists management that he always manages to make feel like guests instead of tourists. Atayek is 100% reliable and his qualities will make you holiday safe and exciting!

Wauw if you want an authentic Bedouin Wadi rum camp this is the place. It’s nice and quiet and has the most beautiful night sky with lots of stars and a change to see the Milky Way. This is a real time Desert experience and the staff will take good care of you with all you need! They arranged us Jeep tour and wonderful dinner.
