Good location. Outside areas of hotel were attractive and well placed.

Room was a big negative. In need of an update. Poor lighting, few outlets. Dingy and old furnishings. Bathroom had NO hot water and was in need of a complete makeover.

Location and view from the hotel was spectacular. Would stay again simply for the scenery. Enjoyed the cats on the premises, despite them often sneaking in and hiding under the bed haha. Was pleasantly surprised that there is housekeeping each day. Beds were surprisingly comfortable. We had one of the budget rooms. Many of the rooms, such as ours are located around the main courtyard. So you hear people coming and going. But wasn't really an issue, as the liveliness didn't really start until 8am. If you want a quieter experience, would recommend a room that is closer to the ocean than the courtyard/garden.

Very limited english spoken by staff, so it was a bit challenging for us, who don't speak much spanish. Never figured out how to get hot water, though another guest said they had hot water. Place is huge, but strangely kind of quiet, and a lot of the spaces (kitchen, bar, etc.) are not in use and so it has a bit of an eerie feel. The bathroom doesn't have a door, there's just a wall that opens to the main area. This was rather odd, but there are plenty of individual (doored) bathrooms throughout the hotel, so you can easily seek one out if you would prefer some privacy. Our room came with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and 2 ceramic mugs. Grateful for these things, but was wishing we had a couple water glasses as well. Also wished we had brought cutlery along! Oh, and the hotel seems to be managed by a family that lives on the premise. Usually no one is is in the main reception area to answer questions etc. There is a bell to ring, which rings through to the room that the family is staying in. Since they are not always in their room, I would say if you ring the bell, there is about a 40% chance that someone will come to help.

unfriendly staff, small room, toilet inside the room ( not separated ) water problems, the bed was not even Queen, wehen I ask for bigger bedroom they wanted 1000,- Peso more. Coffe maker but no coffee.

Room was poorly equipped. Fancy kitchenette without plates, glasses, flatware or cooking equipment. Fancy TV but no nightstands, uncomfortable furniture, no place to unpack.

The rooms are a bit old and antiquated, also our room window was next to a shared terrace, so we had no privacy at all, i wouldn't recommend staying at this room, the name was "wahoo"

Villa Paraiso is a older facility needs a bit of work. Beautiful location and view to ocean are wonderful. Free coffee in the morning.

The wifi worked well. It was close to the ocean. Free coffee every morning. Fridge/ toaster oven in the room. Beach access

None of the many pools are hot tubs. There was construction during each day right outside of our room. It was very loud. There were also non guest children running around right outside our room being noisy. There are other rooms on the property that would be away from the construction/kids, and the hotel failed to mention this to us upon booking. They totally failed us in this regard.

It was a beautiful setting with amazing views and lots of great hang out areas. We didn’t use the pools but they were clean and well maintained.

The only potential downside is the stairs. We did fine with them but I definitely something to be aware of.

Very loud party the second night we were there, music was so loud there was no chance to get any sleep but did end by 11pm at least , owner is very friendly but apparently throws party's on weekends and is very disturbing to guests...can be very loud so that's my only reason rating an 8 and staff are very friendly but the construction and party noise was a frustration

What a fantastic location! The view of the water from our room was stunning!!!

It was unfortunate that at the time of our visit the restaurant and bar were closed, so we had to go off site to eat. We really didn't want to leave for anything at all!

Location on the beach - you can hear the waves crashing. There were staff sweeping the property throughout the day.

The pools and hot tub were cold. The hotel was undergoing construction and that should have been disclosed. The room's furniture was uncomfortable. No restaurant or snacks. The morning coffee was undrinkable.The beach in front had poisonous fish. If you want to kayak or SUP, do so before 10am.
