Beautiful Condo at Langosta Beach Club!
Notre condo de luxe est situé dans un petit immeuble exclusif composé de seulement dix unités sur trois étages. En face de la célèbre plage de Tamarindo et du club de plage de Langosta, notre maison se trouve dans la réserve naturelle et l'estuaire de 600 acres de Tamarindo. Les singes hurleurs peuvent être entendus et souvent vus à la fois du condo et du Beach Club. L'océan Pacifique est à une minute à pied de la porte d'entrée.
Notre maison de 1500 pieds carrés comprend tout ce qu'il y a de mieux: air climatisé central, plafonds en teck et boiseries, sols en calcaire travertin, meubles costariciens sur mesure, plans de travail en granit, système de haut-parleurs intégré dans tout le condo pour profiter de votre iPod ou de vos autres divertissements, appareils de cuisine Bosch , Ustensiles de cuisine Williams-Sonoma. We really enjoyed our time at Ibis. We loved being so close to the pool. Also before we got our golf cart the walk in to town was very quick and easy. The staff was fantastic and really leveled up our stay. The condo was spacious and very clean. We loved that each room had its own little balcony and then a larger one of the living room. We were picked up right from the parking area for all of our excursions which was a bonus. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely return to this property again.

Easy to get to and walk to Tamarindo. Langosta beach club right across the street is so wonderful and great service and great food. Easy walk to other restaurants and a great selection of activities available at the beach. However, you should know that the rainforest wakes up early 😁

Ibis Condo was perfect for our family of four. Having amenities of a house was very beneficial for our week long stay. Access to the beach club across the street was super convenient! Especially on the windy days when the sand was blowing we could chill by the pool and have some delicious cocktails. They had everything we needed there towels, even cold towels at the hottest time of the day, excellent service and superb cocktails! Everyone across the board was extremely helpful. We had no issues at all on our travel. The only thing I’d say that may need a bit of attention would be the washing machine in the condo. It is a front loader and I think had been kept closed for a LONG time, it was musty and moldy, it definitely needs a good deep cleaning and for a note to be left for the guests to keep it open so it dries out. Other than that, we would love to return. It was a Gorgeous place overall.

The property was well equipped and the staff was congenial. Especially nice was the closeness to the beach via the Langosta Beach Club where food and beverages were very good. The TV had plenty of channels, although because the TV was streamed, the picture frequently froze. The concierge was pleasant but not at his desk very often. He did respond to emails fairly promptly.

From the moment we were greeted we felt at home! The condo is absolutely stunning and spacious and has everything that you need! A very short walk to town and all of the restaurants. The beach and pool just across the street are gorgeous and inviting! So many great things to say about this location! We had help from our very own concierge for everything we needed. At the time we had to have Covid tests to return to the US and that was arranged to be done right in the condo. Wonderful time and so much fun! We will definitely return!

The condo feels like home. We stayed there on our final leg of our trip to Costa Rica and had lots of laundry. Washing machine and the dryer helped with that. Nice kitchen. No contact check in and out.

We really enjoyed the beach club membership - it was the perfect location on the beach! Condo was nice, only change I would say is better mattresses, and also we had some trouble with the air conditioning. They were very prompt on sending someone out to fix it.

Great location in Tamarindo
We thoroughly enjoyed an early April week at IBIS #8. Booking was seamless, and Rafa organized our shuttles to and from the airport. The Langosta Beach Club across the street was fantastic, a great base camp for our family of four all week. We rented surf boards most days and found the waves just south of the club less crowded than the north end near Witch's Rock.
The condo itself was clean and well appointed. We spent many morning hours on the shaded porch. One note: between the cars on the street, neighborhood howler monkeys, and the early rising sun, we were up early every morning with the locals! Not really an issue for us, but there is some street noise and neighbor noise. Also recommend renting one of the street legal golf carts from Pura Vida. We used it many times every day to ride into town to surf or for dinner.
Tamarindo is a great town -- more touristy than Nosara or other towns north, but we had a blast and look forward to returning!

Luxurious and relaxing
Our family of 5 had a great time at this condo and at the beach club. Our boys went from the oool to the beach and we could relax in a cabana with great service and food. The condo had everything and was very comfortable and high end. We would recommend for familiies with children in a heartbeat. The beach is perfect for kids. Great surfing and the concierge service was extremely helpful and set up great excursions.

The condo was beautiful and check in very easy. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. You are a 4 minute walk thru the Langosta Beach Club to a great beach. The beach is very good for easy surfing, body boarding and body surfing. While your staying there, you are get access to the Langosta Beach club. This means you can use their pool, cabanas and charge meals and drinks to an account. It is a very nice feature you will appreciate on hot days. The food and drinks are great, but a little expensive based the area. However it's very convenient and worth it. The main town, Tamarindo is a 10 minute walk we made numerous times. The town is quaint and aimed at visiting tourists. It's very casual with some areas being nice and others a little basic. But, hey, it's a beach town in Costa Rica and a fun adventure.There is always someone there at the condo's to answer questions and help you. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. The condo is on the 2nd floor and overlooks the little road to town. The unit is a corner unit and the balcony is roomy with very nice furniture overlooking the road and the small gravel parking lot. Being on the 2nd floor worked out fine, since the elevator didn't work, but no big deal. For the price, location and quality of the condo, this was a great deal. We would definitely go back.

1st class location and property. The 2 concierges were always available and any issues or questions were swiftly met. Parking was adequate and the area was safe. Walking distance to anything in Taramindo. We had a small issue with sugar ants in the kitchen. Would recommend a professional exterminator to solve. Beds, Baths and living areas were perfect. Wifi was always available. Great Place.

Above and Beyond
The condo was completely stunning with all top end appliances and very clean. The decor was absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Great bedrooms and coffee every morning on the spacious patio, catching a glimpse of the Costa Rican culture and beautiful wildlife around you, made for a perfect start to your day. If you are looking for a great place to get away ,this is the place. There was a warm welcome as soon as we arrived , making the long day of travel worth it, I instantly felt at home.
One week was just simply not long enough for our beautiful stay here. Costa Rica has so much to offer, and being here in Tamarindo, you can do as little or as much as you want to do. This condos location made you feel like you were in the heart of it all. Close to town and some great restaurants. Just across the street was the Langosta Beach Club they really want your stay to be the best of the best.The service was amazing and they all were so friendly , making sure you taken care of. Along with the beach they also have a very clean pool that over looks the ocean, so you can have the best of both worlds. There food is amazing! If you are looking for a friendly, relaxing and welcoming place to vacation, look no further. Ibis 8 is the place to be. We look forward to our next vacation here!

This was our second time staying at this property and we loved it just as much the second time! It is very clean and spacious and the people are very friendly and accommodating! We also can't say enough good things about the Beach Club. The food is amazing and everyone of the staff members are terrific!!

Exceeded expectations
As we pulled into the property it was clear that this place was set apart from others like it in the area. Everyone was very welcoming and went out of their way to make sure you had what you needed to relax. Aside from the hospitality at Ibis I was blown away by the amenities of Ibis 8. 5 star doesn't begin to describe it. Fully furnished with new appliances in the kitchen (very spacious if you want to make a meal of your own. They even have drinking water from the tap). A roomy living area with a wonderful master suite. We stayed in the second bedroom. It had a private balcony overlooking the Langosta Beach Club. My favorite part of the day was waking up early to sit in solitude on the balcony and listen to the wildlife (exotic birds and plenty of howler monkeys). Memories I cherish.
Costa Rica is hot but you get a nice respite from that at Ibis 8 with climate control. Free wifi was a real benefit, too.
I wish we had more time to spend there. It was everything you'd expect from a 5 star condo in the states but with the seclusion of being in a jungle thousands of miles away. The Langosta Beach Club is just across the street. It's right on the ocean with a full bar, full menu, too. A really nice swimming pool with Cabanas for rent. On our last afternoon there a group of Howler Monkeys settled in the trees for a nap right above us. It was quite magical.
If you're thinking about going to Costa Rica look no further than Ibis 8. The owners and management are classy folks that do everything to make your stay one you'll never forget. I've been to a lot of different places for vacation. I'll return to this condo as many times as I can. You'd be making a mistake to pass it up.

Great facilities, outstanding location
The condo exceeded out expectations. Located close to town but far enough away to provide some peace and quiet. The facilities were great and the condo comfortable. Rafa and Stephano provided any assistance needed and always went beyond expectations. Access to the Langosta Club enhanced the stay and the restaurant there provided the best meals we had during our 2 week stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this rental.

Our best C.R. vacation and stay!
Arriving at Ibis 8 we were met with a warm and friendly staff eager to help us. Bob with the assistance from Stephanos and Juanro, took care of transportation, recommendations and information that we needed.
The condo was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed making our morning coffee in the modern spacious kitchen and taking it on the balcony to hear unusual birds and howler monkeys. We appreciated that it was equipped with a washer and dryer as well.
A short distance across the street was the LaGosta Beach Club which is available to those staying at the condo. We reserved a cabana where we were by the pool and overlooking the beach. Delicious food and drinks were available for purchase if desired. (Try the Sea Bass - yum) Drink and food service was also available if you wanted to sit on the beach.
The condo is conveniently located to shops and restaurants so we chose to walk to the various places we wanted to go. Day or night we were met by the security guard opening the gate for us and greeting us with "Buenoes Dias" or "Pura Veda"
Time to leave - We had Juanro arrange for a shuttle to the airport.
We were sad to leave this tropical oasis, can't wait for the next visit!

Great destination and rental option!
The condo worked out very well for our family - plenty of room for my husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters. Staff helpful and accommodating. They could set up transfers to/from airport, activities, recommendations for dinner, etc. Our driver stopped at a grocery store on the way from the airport and we stocked up for the week. Tamarindo is a great destination. Lots of restaurants, very casual and friendly, great surf, gorgeous sunsets. Condo is about a 5-10 min walk to the town. We usually walked the beach vs the road. You have access to Longosta Beach Club that is across the street. It is a nice club with pool and cabanas, restaurant and bar, but it is very popular for weddings so at least 4-5 of the days we were there, they were either setting up or tearing down for a wedding, so limited pool and bar access. Another caution is that it is on a gravel road, so we never sat on our patio, it was too dusty. Saying that though, we liked being out of the town and a little more secluded than the option of a condo right in town, further away from the beach.

Family getaway to Tamarindo
We stayed at Ibis #8 for 2 weeks, from Jan 4-18th. As other reviewers have pointed out, the unit itself is very well appointed with high-end appliances, sturdy furniture and all of the modern conveniences one would expect from an upscale condo. The condo itself does not have any amenities onsite (pool, gym, etc.) - these are located directly across the street at the Langosta Beach Club. Ibis guests have full access; the club is also features one of the nicer restaurants in the area. This is the quieter, more scenic section of Tamarindo beach, which may appeal to those seeking a slower pace.
Sebastian (the concierge) was very friendly and approachable. He always greeted us with a warm smile and was great with our kids. Bob handled a few issues that came up and he took care of them promptly. The security/groundskeepers/housekeepers were all very friendly and helpful. One of them kindly fixed a broken strap on our luggage, which we really appreciated. The crew at the Langosta Beach Club were also very fun and energetic.
Some might find the location a bit remote (you will need to drive or walk 5-7 mins to get to Tamarindo, down a busy dirt road with no sidewalks) but we liked the fact that it was quiet and relatively secluded. We were a bit disappointed with the dust and road noise that came from the adjacent Langosta Road. Apparently a paving project is imminent, so the dust issue may be addressed soon. Nevertheless, if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest looking for a unit facing the rear of the building, which faces the Tamarindo Preserve.
The unit boasts comfy beds, a pull-out sofa sleeper, nice plumbing fixtures, tasteful decorating, modern appliances and three separate decks. The WiFi is not particularly strong - barely enough for Netflix, fine for e-mail and social networking. There is no VoIP line in the unit, so you will need to rely on mobile or Skype for making calls.
Overall, this unit served us well and we were not disappointed. We would recommend it to others, seeking a quieter location in an small & modern building.

Great Condo! Great Location and staff!
We stayed at this unit over the Christmas holidays. We loved everything about it. The unit itself was beautiful and very well equipped. The location is perfect! Directly across from Langosta Beach Club, which we enjoyed truly enjoyed. Also easy walking distance in to town, either by the road or via the beach. The location is also perfect for any excursions you may want to do. Bob and Veronica were great. We had a little trouble with our safe not opening, and they loaned us some cash (which we needed for an excursion) until we could get this issue with the safe resolved. They were also helpful in recommending dining options. Sebastian was very helpful in booking airport transfers and other excursions. Not that we ever felt the least bit uncomfortable, but there is no need to worry about security as there is always a security officer at the gate. We were lucky...when we were there Bob and Veronica hosted a Christmas eve party for the staff and guests, complete with traditional Costa Rican food, games and even fireworks. It was a great night. We absolutely loved this place and Costa Rica and would highly recommend it.

D & J Getaway
What a beautiful condo in a perfect location (a block from the Pacific, a nice walking distance into town especially via the beach, Langosta Beach Club across the street, yet remote enough for great relaxation). Being an architect, I appreciated the craftsmanship of the condo, and the time to relax in an attractive environment! Without any hesitancy, I will select this place and vacation there again. The concierge and staff were very accommodating and helpful. Rent it and you won't regret it!

Beautiful condo in a great location!
We stayed for 11 days back in June-July.
The interior of the condo is beautiful- nice, modern wood furnishing (teak native to Costa Rica), great appliances (altho the ice dispenser in the fridge didn't work), roomy kitchen, nice stereo, great AC. The wireless internet is a bit weak, but works. E-mail and Facebook are fine, no Netflix. A couple of friends stayed in the second bedroom- it has its own bathroom and is on the opposite end of the unit.
The listing and photos were accurate and up to date.
The staff are very friendly and very on top of things and keep the place spotless. We arranged a few trips (definitely go zip lining at Arenal, Nicaragua was cool) through the front desk which worked out well. Sebastian recommended a great trip to Playas Minas, which is incredibly beautiful and empty during the week. We had the beach to ourselves. The management (Bob) was very straightforward, easy to deal with and responded promptly to inquiries.
The location was a real winner as it was just far enough from town to not be crazy, but a very close walk. The last bit of road is not paved, but the beach is a better walk anyways. The condos on the water look outdated. Not this one- it's across the road from the beach, but you have access to Langosta Beach Club, a great facility- gym, large cabanas, large in-ground pool, and a great bar with good food (especially chipotle sauce). The staff is very friendly. There is also surfboards, paddleboards, and wakeboards available for rental and lessons.
Nearby there are plenty of restaurants- we preferred the local type food. Nogui's has great seafood. The Italian place has great breakfast. The Argentinian place was okay, the milaneses were our favorite. We really enjoyed Vulcano also. We went fishing with Pedro, which was a small boat but a lot of fun and reasonably priced.
We rented a car for the drive down, and stopped at the automercado, which is really a great store. It has a good selection of fish and meat, and a wide variety of beer. We didn't visit the store that is closer to the condo but were told it was more limited. We took a shuttle bus on the way back to the airport. The JetBlue lines were very short compared to others.
Overall, we had a great time and were very pleased with condo, building, location, and beach club. We would definitely recommend / go back again- I didn't see anywhere nearby that looked as good. We were absolutely pleased with our choice.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 10 glorious days on our first trip to CR. This is a great location & the condo has all you need to be comfortable and safe. Plenty of room, well stocked, w/d, security, you name it. Loved the connection to the beach club, with its access and workout rooms. Bob and staff were very helpful...especially planning trips and things to do. We had a car and easily made it around. Plus you could get to so much from here during a day trip. All was great...especially seeing whales on our 2nd to last night. Definitely check this place out. You won't regret it!

This was our first trip to Costa Rica. I travelled with my mother (72) and my son (6 1/2). We rented #8 and it was perfect in every way. Very nice design and furnishings. Very clean. A step across the street to the Langosta Beach Club, pool and beach. This property is perfectly located just at the edge of the 'village' area with shops and restaurants so a very quick and easy walk down the beach. The beach at Langosta is a good one for younger children, beginner surfers, and swimmers. A half-mile or so to the south is a totally different experience -- the waves you come to Costa Rica for and wonderful warm Pacific water. I haven't played in the water for so long since I was in high school because the perfect waves just kept coming.
I was amazed at the number and quality of local restaurants of every type -- the best pizza I've ever had Baulas, seafood, Italian, easy local beach food. The condo was well equipped for cooking at home which we did for breakfast and lunch, then out to dinner.
Every member of the Ibis property staff was cordial, helpful and friendly. The Beach Club staff was equally friendly and helpful. We took a day trip to Rincan de la Vieja for zip-lining, tubing and playing in the hot springs.
It was a vacation that you can make as busy or as relaxing as you choose. Perfect climate, perfect water, beautiful surroundings and easy airport access.

The unit was just as pictured! Very comfortable and clean. Bob did a really good job answering questions and addressing concerns before we booked the trip and after. He assisted with transfers, groceries, excursions and last minute issues. He has a good team of workers in place and we felt safe and comfortable at all times. Enjoyed having the beach club across the street, service at the club was okay. Definitely looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Being my first trip outside the US I was a bit scared of making a trip with 6 friends; Bob did an excellent job taking care of things to ease any concerns we had; he gladly booked the adventures for the day and gave us very good recommendations. Since I have been traveling more I find it VERY VERY helpful to have a go to person that knows the scene. The condo was comfortably located across the street from the local beach club which gave us all the access we needed to drinks, food, fun and a beautiful scenery, and the food there would delight any food lover. People have mentioned dust a few times in other reviews.. but this is Costa Rica so be ready for it.. it is a little dusty. My group and I plan on going back ASAP and renting the penthouse this time :)

Came on vacation with a group of six and the condo was clean and beautiful. Nice, quiet, and secure location and condo was really well equipped with nice furniture and appliances. Bob is great too. Very knowledgable and every restaurant and excursion recommendation was right on. Would def. visit again!
