It’s a little piece of paradise in the village of Port Barton. The staff are so efficient and nice I can’t praise them enough. We loved the vibe of the place. The pool is so nice, the patio on the second floor. So chill and relaxed. Breakfasts are served on the patio in your room and they were absolutely delicious . Well done!

There is a dog that barks a lot. They leave earplugs for you in the room and it’s for a reason. The dog in combination with roosters in the morning makes sleeping in quite difficult. Plus our shower downstairs didn’t have hot water for three days and they were not able to fix it …

I can only give a 1 as someone climbed in the through the broken bathroom window of our room and robbed us of all of our valuables while we slept. Very scary, a significant cost, huge inconvenience and a holiday ruined. But the good points are: Nice pool area Pleasant structure Comfortable beds

Being robbed and put at risk from an intruder due to a lack of basic property maintenance: the bathroom window was broken in two places meaning it could not be locked. This is where the thief entered our room during the night and robbed us. The Port Barton area, and this location specifically (Parrots, and three of the properties around it) have been robbed within the last three months. The resort was aware of this and yet: The CCTV installed does not cover the back alley that all of rooms back on to… The barbed wire along the back wall was in need of repair. Staff tested how easy it was to jump the wall and found no issues dodging the saggy barbed wire. The security lights also do not cover the back alley so were equally useless in this event. Staff sometimes stay overnight but they are not awake. And on the night we were robbed, we were informed that no one was present. And once again, the window in the room was broken, both locks were missing. This should have been fixed- compromised rooms should not be given to guests. locks on the window in the room upstairs have also been broken for some time. Following the incident, staff on site were apologetic but disappointingly, we felt the owner was reluctant to reach out or take the due amount of responsibility, apologies were always qualified. We were offered a two-night stay and a pizza while the police undertook their initial investigations and report, and eventually received a refund for the two nights paid which we’re grateful for. But compared to our losses and the ruined trip, it’s a drop in the ocean. Finally, the police report received was farcical. All pertinent details relating to the case were either incorrect or missing entirely. Port Barton is beautiful with some really lovely people, but the police and local businesses need to do more, and quickly, to prevent further targeted attacks on tourists from occurring.

We loved this boutique hotel and stayed for 5 nights. The staff are so welcoming and kind and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. It is located 5 minutes walk from the beach, which is perfect. The large balcony/outdoor area outside of the room is a massive bonus. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The room is spotless and was cleaned daily. The shower is hot with good water pressure. We especially liked how breakfast was served to the balcony every morning. It was such a nice treat! The breakfast was consistently delicious. The pool area was always clean and tranquil. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Port Barton!

Modern, clean and cool design. Small size facility, the staff makes you feel immediately at home. They even have bike rental and arrange massages at good prices. we had an amazing stay.

Maybe the only disadvantage is that the bed is attached the one of the walls, so one person gets to sleep at the wall size, which isn’t terrible but not very practical.

Located in the midst of the jungle and just a stone's throw away from the beach, this hotel is not only serene but also very convenient. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are clean and cozy, with air conditioning and hot water, and the pool is an excellent place to unwind. Overall, this resort in Port Barton offers an exceptional experience that is highly recommended for anyone seeking a comfortable and peaceful stay.

wifi did not work in the room

Breakfast was supergood, but not as good as the staff there. They made us feel right at home and helped to arrange activities and drivers etc. Will miss this place.

Such a cute resort. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The place was also really clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was also tasty. The location is good, port Barton is very small anyway. They also have the cutest cats ever that you can pat if you want; Ziggy and tiger were the best.

I struggled to get the shower to be hot but that is probably user error. They had an electric hot water system on the wall in the bathroom.

It’s a little boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and facilities. Breakfast was yummy. It’s a 5-10 min walk from the beach. The staff was really nice and offer us to leave our bags and take a shower after checkout.

No espresso here but this is a common problem in the Philippines :)

it’s very noisy, but it is not the hotels fault. there are a lot of noises due to roosters and karaoke parties all around. earplugs are essential for a decent sleep.

Beautifully conceived and built, great style, very clean and comfortable, fantastic staff, 5 mins walk from the town centre / beach.

Bar by the pool

Breakfast was really bad, no healthy choices, no fresh fruits except for watermelon (they had canned pineapple). Unbelievable for Philippines. Gym was closed for lunch. Staff really slow. Room and facilities old and much worse than they look on booking

Chic yet simple, incredibly kind and friendly owner and staff, felt like home.

We loved our stay at the Parrots Boutique Resort. The architecture and decor really bring out the best out of this lovely little resort. A must visit!

The absence of a shower curtain made the bathroom a bit messy after a shower.

The facilities were super clean and nice. The staff and owner were extremely helpful and recommended us some great stuff to do. We absolutely loved this place and stayed longer than anticipated.

Beautiful modern aesthetic hotel with a great pool. Wifi was strong and could reach my room. Room was spacious and very clean, with a comfortable bed. I loved that it was on the 2nd floor and had a balcony area that I could hang out in. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is not centrally located, and if you want to go to the beach or find other places to eat at, prepare for a 15-20 minute walk minimum.

Such a cute and nice place to stay in Port Barton. The loveliest staff who made us feel very comfortable and who wanted us to feel like home. Very nice facilities as well and located close to the beach. The breakfast included was very good and consisted of several options. It is also possible to order lunch at the resort, especially the pasta is very nice. I very much recommend Parrots if you go to Port Barton!
