The pool, the staff were very very kind, and the breakfast was very good.
No a/c should be punished.

Man benötigt definitiv keine Klimaanlage.

This place exceeded my expectations! It’s a lovely oasis with trees surrounding the bungalows. I was grateful there was a pool to swim in as there was jellyfish at the beach. It was a nice chill place to hangout and the wifi was decent in the common/pool area. The staff were super friendly and helpful with any requests they received, they even took my pants down to the tailor for me to be fixed, I really appreciated that. The included breakfast I had each morning was amazing, there were lots of options and I was happy with all my meals.

The whole accomodation is beautiful and surrounded by many plants.
It's in a quiet area. All in all we can recommend this stay and Port Barton.
The breakfast was very delicious and included in the price. That was a very good value for the whole package.
The staff was very friendly and helped us already in advance with the transport.
The description of the stay was not completely correct in our case. We had no AC in our room, only a fan. Also there was no warm water provided. When you turned the shower on hot, no water came out of it.
Moreover after a visit in the pool we got blue feet. That was a pity because the pool was very nice with the tropical surroundings.

Erica and her family were super helpful and friendly. The facilities were well taken care of. The breakfast was good and complete.
Many bugs in the shared shower and bathroom, but we understand that in a place like Philippines iand in the middle of nature there’s not much you can do about it.

A great place to stay in Port Barton. Lovely small houses to stay in, in a beautiful garden. Lovely people that want to help you with everything. In our case the pool had maintance and they offered us a room upgrade and offered us to stay for free.
Nothing really. The hotel is only a little bit further from the beaches/center of Port Barton. About 10 minute walk or short tricycle ride, but we did not mind. Very easy to find and go there.

This place is a little oasis in the jungle. The pool is a welcome treat in the heat and it is surrounded by the most beautiful tropical garden.
My room was simple and clean, lots of bugs outside the room in the evening but that is just because you're literally in the jungle!
It is the most peaceful place, and it is made perfect by the laid-back style of the owners. They arranged a boat tour on one of the days for me which was excellent and arranged pick up to go to the bus station, nothing felt like too much trouble.
The stand out moment for me was when I didn't come home as expected they messaged to check I was ok. As a solo female traveller this really meant so much to me,, and just showed how much they care.
It is a little way out of the main area of Port Barton, which is absolutely fine if you have a scooter. If you don't it's worth getting a tricycle home in the evening as the surrounding roads get very dark. Having said that I walked alone everywhere and never felt unsafe.

The owner's name is Vee, very enthusiastic, booked all the buses for us, booked the hope island tour with super cheap price but super fun, extremely considerate and asked if we needed any help and helped us. Room is comfortable
There is also a specialty of chickens crowing dogs, dogs barking, dogs barking 24/7, I used to live in the countryside a lot but this village is the village where cocks crow the most and are the loudest. They want to stretch their necks and still scream all day

I loved the garden view bungalow, it was very comfortable and despite only having a fan and no AC I slept very comfortably and didn’t get too hot. I also enjoyed the pool which could be used at any time. dheltor is ran by a family and I really enjoyed speaking with them and playing with their pets! also good location, short walk from the beach :)

beautiful garden and nature around the bungalows and the pool
road up to the hotel was a bit dark so wouldn‘r advise for a female solo traveller to walk up there by herself

Huts were clean and comfortable. The family that run Dheltor are all so friendly and helpful. Organised our pick ups for tours and always greeted us with a smile
A few big hills to walk up and down if heading to the "town" but always a trycycle passing by that will offer you a lift 😉

the staff were just the loveliest, most accommodating people we have encountered. from our breakfast dietary requirements, to helping book transport and hiring a bike and extending our stay. they were amazing and we couldn't fault them. the pool is amazing and the place itself feels like a peaceful retreat not too far from the town but a nice distance for relaxation. we would 100% recommendations. lovely, clean, cold water & coffee!
the Wi-Fi and connection is weak because of the location but it is not a problem for us!

beautiful territory, a lot of plants. If you want to live in local bamboo house , its great place and experience. The house is fresh and doesn’t smell of mold. Nice inside. Breakfasts were soo tasty and big, to choose from. Swimming pool is clean. Staff so kindly. We were given welcome drinks , then we were check in. Toilet clean and smelled good there, they clean it. Recommend!
all is good

Staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to make us comfortable, the room was a very generous size and had very nice views across the town and the surrounding jungle. The swimming pool was a bonus in the humid weather we were having. It is about a 25/30 minute walk from the town and the bars restaurants etc; however tricycles are always at hand and cheap transport.
Rooms were very clean as was the big bathroom.
Breakfast was very nice with a good choice, evening meals were also available if you did not fancy walking, all food and drink reasonably priced as well.
Viki went out of her way to help us with transport when leaving and also scooters during our stay, Thanks Viki.

The pool is great, the garden is beautiful. Vicky, Melanie and their entire families are incredibly kind and helpful. the food is spectacular (breakfast included). Honestly the best price/quality ratio I’ve seen in the Philippines.
Nature is noisy at night but that’s in general around here…. and they offer free earplugs :)
