the location of the lodge was just perfect! it was quiet, clean, the hot tub was ready to use by the time we arrived and the lodge is fully kitted out with everything we needed.

A cost effective and lovely quiet location for visiting Longleat Safari. The cabin is clean and simple, the hot tub was lovely and well used by us! The site is fantastic. Plenty of quiet paths to explore and the on-site pub and beauty salon are both brilliant.

Only a slight observation, the kitchen has only basic cutlery/crockery and pans. If you are planning to cook or prepare packed lunches (the oven and electric stove are great) then you may want to bring your own bits; condiments, foil, oil, bread knife etc. We didn’t bring these and still managed fine by making a trip to the local shop. if we come again we’ll just throw our ‘camping box’ in the car.

The quality of the accommodation was excellent. Hot tub looked out onto a lake which was lovely and relaxing but also private. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was no problem when we requested an early book in. Location was lovely and peaceful but close enough to walk into Warminster.

The selling point for us was the hot tub, however after 10 minutes use this stopped working and we could not use it again all weekend, we could not contact anyone about it as there is a £20 charge for this! Double bed could do with being a little bigger

No washing machine or tumble dryer. A yard brush for cleaning the decking area would of been useful!

the keys were left in the door. and dropped off in a drop box at the end. the info pack said we would be charged £20 for non emergency help requests. Very intimidating and NO customer service. The beds were atrocious - too small

location and views around ponds were great with a variety of wildlife. Very peaceful and tranquil. Enjoyed the hot tub and scenic walks. The lodge on site was good as easily accessible apart from Monday.

the lodge was closed Monday - didn’t realise. had planned on having dinner there. One of the single beds was a little uncomfortable and pillow could do with changing.

Our keys were on the table inside the property - message left on a whiteboard on entry to tell us this - would have been nice for a call to check we had arrived the next day but we had no communication from the host - not particularly welcoming- the lodge was ok just not a luxury cabin as advertised

Felt dirty - I had bought antibacterial wipes and cloths - I cleaned all surfaces including the sofa which was grim before my family felt comfortable - bathroom floor was sticky- taps and mirrors had watermarks everywhere which is fine if not described as ‘luxury’ . No hot water in kitchen , cupboards peeling paint, sofa was in desperate need of replacement , shower was ‘meh’ . In the current environment I would have expected anti bac wipes etc for our use and a really spotless cabin - this was massively missed and is not a huge expense to anyone

Amazing Facilities, peaceful surroundings, Hot tub gorgeous. Take towels with you as they advise but apart from that, no complaints. Will definitely stay again in Kingfisher Lodge.

The location was good for longleat and other attractions. There is a large morrisons just down the road. The pkace itself was lovely with the ponds etc.

We didn't like the cleanliness. The sofas were dirty, we had to fully clean them before we could sit on them. Also the place needs a good hoover. The WiFi was rubbish and the TV didn't work (that's didn't bother us too much but would bother others)

Like a little home from home.. except with a hot tub! Hunters Moon is a lovely place. We stayed in Kingfisher lodge. Keys were already in the cabin upon arrival making it nice and easy for us when we arrived.

Wasn’t overly clean - even a little spider in the fridge showing this hadn’t been wiped out :(

All of the lodge, no complaints with it at all. The grounds were picture purfect and beautiful, along with all the natural wildlife, trees, plants etc.. The Lodge (spa, bar, restaurant), was lovely, with really friendly staff and the food we saw being served looked fantastic. So will definately be trying next time. The hot tub was secluded and just what was needed to completely de-stress. I would recommend this true oasis to anyone, especially for fishing. This escape would suit a fisherman's treat, a secluded, peaceful, romantic getaway, or even just being a close as possible to nature. There are tourist spots a short distance car drive too if wanted.

In the morning the smell of the sewage drain was quite strong, but it did subside after a few hours. Nothing you can do, cause you need drainage!!
