comfy bed, clean room
Phone didn't work when we tried to call the front desk. Shower does not have a hand held nozzle!!!! Reception area was poorly designed for acoustics, as such it was difficult to hear the staff over the chatty (rude) people behind us in line. The wait was exacerbated by the lack of a second receptionist. Due to the phone not working we were unable to ask for a late checkout (happy to pay for it) we know it was possible because of an advertisement in the lobby but due to the issues stated above, and a dinner date with friends, we did not have time to wait in line again.

quite expensive. i wasn’t informed that we have to pay extra $50 for the cleaning. husband shouldn’t have cleaned the room.

The staff were delightful and some of the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel, and upgraded me to a bigger room upon check-in. The kitchen area was huge and the bathroom was nicely appointed with its own washing machine and dryer. Location right next to the stadium and train station is pretty neat.
The two single beds in my room weren’t that comfortable, and I wish they’d have joined the two beds together with a bigger mattress.

The dog in the apartment below me that barks and craps over the small outdoor area. The last thing I expected was a barking dog in the unit below me.

The first room smelt of cigarette smoke.The second had a dog smell in it. The was no mention of dogs being allowed in all rooms at time of booking .
A dog friendly option is ok but patrons sure be asked if they are willing to stay in a room after a dog has stayed their especially when the cleaning of the rooms is inadequate to remove paw marks and smell.
Dogs appeared to be held in higher regards than customers with no pets- reception had water and free treats for dogs but no free water or treats on offer for the humans staying at the hotel.
I had to share the lift with a dog as I was in the lift and there was an assumption that I was dog friendly because the hotel was… on a separate occasion I was unable to get out of the lift because a I large dog waiting with the owners block my access out.
I had to ask that the dog be pulled back to allow me out.
