It was perfect for our short stay as a family and accommodated everything we needed. The Aga is great. Cosy and warm and super for drying clothes of in front of if you get caught in the rain as we did

Well equipped kitchen Can see that money has been spent on the interior design and furniture Lots of space Lots of kids toys and the high chair, cot and stair gates were great We’ll set up for dogs and babies with easy to sweep floors! Check in process worked well and the management company were very responsive to emails and Tania was great on text, helpful and prompt replies

The aga being constantly on was so so hot- even with all the windows open it was very difficult to sleep and we had to buy a fan for the baby to sleep and the dogs had to sleep outside. In the winter it must be very welcoming but in July the stuffiness was unbearable. It would be good to make it clear that the enclosed garden is a courtyard garden not a grass garden (clarity not a negative) Check out at 930am is very early and unusual so a normal check out of 11am would be a more normal time compared to other locations especially as check in is later than other locations - paying £60 extra was a little steep

Tv wouldn’t work , quite complicated, not a big tv size tbh could be improved a lot Also the village pub has been closed for over a month unfortunately but we should have been told as this meant someone driving instead of using local facilities, I appreciate this isn’t the owners fault, but as it’s been closed for sometime we should have been informed

Location was good for us.

The cooker was absolutely filthy and no instructions. The kitchen sink and upstairs toilet were very stained. No toaster and couldn't find a hoover.
